Because I’ve worked my whole life I’m not eligible for ANY Benefits at all and as bills are rising to such a huge extent I’ve now stopped buying food (I make a pot of veg soup that does me one meal a day). Why didn’t I just doss at home on the dole like some contemporaries did - I’d be rolling in dosh now and all my bills would be paid for me. This country takes care of skivers.

So true. They get so many benefits and never do a day's work. They also get all the repairs done on their property.

The same case here, have been working for years, never claimed anything as a single person isn't entitled to anything. So unfair! 😡

So you've worked all your life, yet haven't learned about investing, budgeting, asking for raises and have spent on things you probably didn't want and almost certainly didn't need and it's all the fault of people on benefits.
You could always ask your mates in parliament if they can spare some of their £50 breakfast allowance.
Or better still why not protest them benefit cheats in Buckingham Palace who get 100,000s a year for doing either very little or nothing for that money

No one gets all bills paid for, the most they may get is housing and council tax benefit. No such thing as dole and when I was out of work I was expected to constantly prove I was actively looking for work. So no skiving for me. It was hard work looking for work.

My O2 even last year increased by £6 I asked about paying off the phone and they wanted the full amount for the whole contract time. So not worth leaving but it tell me one thing I will NEVER EVER get an O2 contract again.
standing charges are disgusting I am a low user 1 to 5 units a day 1 in summer 5 in winter and have solar. my 1 unit or less day means I am paying a £1 for it. I feel totally ripped off and I am on a very low income

      1)Win the Lottery
      2) Move to a less expensive Country
Thats the only way to afford rising costs in UK for a low standard of living😮
