Jon was and is the prince that was promised. 💗 to stop both the threats of ice and fire. It was said that mythical figure will “ bring the dawn” and to stop the darkness, which Jon did twice. And also kill his lover which Jon did.
This should've been played during the finale.

This song actually made me cry. I've been a fan of Jon and his baby face from the first moment I saw him in season 1. I haven't had a chance to watch season 5 yet, but his death in the finale was spoiled for me by the stupid suggested videos section (WHY WOULD YOU SUGGEST THAT TO ANYONE, RUclips?!).
I cried for half an hour when I found out he died. I had thought I'd gotten over it, but this song dropped a feels bomb!

1 year late but I really wish they had included why she repeatedly says that in the show..
That "know nothing" part didn't originate from Ygritte! His Uncle Benjen warned him that he would have to take his lack of experience into account when voicing anything to the NW's leaders. Later, in the series, he constantly reminds himself "I know nothing".
Even after he comes back to life, "knowing nothing" will be Jon's defining trait in the books! So quick & eager to learn, despite everything.
I love that ticking sound because it really makes it feel and sound like Jon is on the blood sodden road on this inevitable March to meet his destiny, it's only a matter of time.

:-D This is great. I looked for quotes in the web before I read the book and I always wondered why this was so polular. And when I read it at last, I always laughed when I came across this passage. Which was quite often, since Ygritte says it in about every third sentence. :-))

Jon snow is my favorite man on game of thrones, I was so mad at the end of season five. I hope he is brought back. I just shared this on george's facebook page, hopefully he see's it.

Given what just happened to Jon, this song is even more awesome. When he and Daenerys finally meet, it'll be awe-inspiring. On one hand you've got Jon Snow: Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, veteran of the Battle of Hardhome, victor of the Battle of Winterfell, nemesis of the Night King, eldest male heir of the Stark and Targaeryn bloodlines and the King of the North. On the other hand, you've got Daenerys Stormborn: eldest heir of the Targaeryn bloodline, the woman who liberated Mereen, Khalessi of the Dothraki and the Queen of Dragons.
Something special is coming up in Season 6. ^_^

All your game of thrones songs give me serious goose bumps
Even if it turns out that Jon was actually a trueborn Targaryen, I will still call him snow, because at this point, that name is less a mockery and label, and more a badge of honor, of the one born to the cold and who had conquered. Besides, snow is a pure thing and no-one here can say Jon is anything less than a pure soul, if not pure of the marritable sense.
This is something so GAME OF THRONES it NEEDS TO BE IN THE SHOW!!!!! Brilliant job Karliene, once again you've thrown me into the world of game of thrones with your beautiful voice!!! WHY HAVEN'T YOU SEND YOU GOT SONGS TO G.R.R. HIMSELF! YET!!!! He seems nice enough to not yell at you. As I found a lot of other fandoms inspired projects, ended in lawsuits (when said creators caught wind of these projects) safe to say, theses fandoms died after these lawsuits. Some creators don't understand without their fans they are nothing..
