Hello User, You are so welcome! Yea, right! Some of the time I work in cruise control and don't think about it too much. Until I'm making a video that is... Please keep liking and watching!
So, I just came up with a tip that helped me. You probably covered it and doesn't really have anything to do with what you are discussing here, but... When binding an edge, I found if I fold the edge and steam iron it, it stays folded over perfectly and I can concentrate on sewing and not worry about keeping a perfect fold. For a guy that is new to this and frankly, don't know what he's doing...it really helped!
Hello X, I always say that there is more than one way of getting things done. I usually crease the binding just before it gets sewn. Try it! Please keep liking and watching!

It's fun to watch you sew! You are so effortless and fast, but it's always perfect and looks spectacular. Really cool. I am certainly NOT an upholster, but have started to sew new seat and door panels for my '31 Plymouth street rod with inspiration from your videos. I'm not fast, but it's is turning out fantastic. Thank you for sharing you craft and amazing talent with me. You have given me a real sense of accomplishment! Thank you again.
Hello X, You are so welcome! Wow, thank you for all of your wonderful kind words. It means a lot to me. Speed is not important but very useful if you're making money at it. Accuracy and quality are more important if you want happy customers. I think you will do just fine with your '31 Rod. Please keep liking and watching!

Hello Miguel, Thank you so much for saying so. Sorry to say that I really just do work for the locals here in East Texas as they keep me very busy. Please keep liking and watching!
Ive found seam allowance is a preference as long as your pattern stays as intended and material quantity allows for. I usually use the edge of my sliding plate where the bobbin goes as my allowance measurement, but I've used a larger one for pulling a flatter/tighter french seam. (Makes grabbing material easier) and trim excess

I have a question, when i am putting the first 2 pieces together and getting them sewn together, i then do my top stitch. The issue i am having is i am seeing light in between the two pieces of vinyl. Do you have any tips on how i can make the vinyl stitched tighter? I am stitch on setting 4 on my juki 1541s. Thank you in advanced. Edit: Is it possible i do not have enough tension on the thread feeding through and allowing me to see light in between my 2 pieces of fabric after they are sewn together?
Hello Tea, Try a tighter thread tension. Remember this is not rocket science. You won't see light through it when it is installed on something. Hehe. Please keep liking and watching!
