    They were bought for me by a friend in Albuquerque NM. I think they were purchased at a "world market" store. I love them too, they are perfect for videos

    It is a good rule of thumb for baking to use unsalted butter. I usually use salted butter and omit the salt asked for in the recipe.

  • @yoyomax12
    @yoyomax12  12 лет назад

    The baking soda/vinegar is supposed to make them fluffier. I find whoopie pies to be halfway between cake and cookie and they are a little dense.

    Chill the batter in the refrigerator before adding the chips or freeze the chips before adding to the batter

    I have 490 videos and four of them have a watermelon theme, I don't consider that a lot. However, I do like the red/green/white of the watermelon and these videos usually get lots of views. Thanks for watching.

    the little milk/baking soda/vinger.... what is that for? is that what makes the cakes so fluffy?
    If so... can I add that to any cake recipe to make them fluffy like woopie pies? The reason I ask, I make red velvet woopie pies, but they are always a little too dense for my liking....

  • @tenshique

    Wow. Today I went to a big store in in Germany and saw at the american department of the store those fluff pots. I was thinking to buy a pot but eventually did not. I was afraid that I wouldn't use it. now I am convinced to buy it the next time i'm at that store.

    Oh you're Scottish? Same here!!! Do you normally have any chocolate alternatives? Anything chocolate-like should do, or even more black icing itself. I know that you can get quite hard fondant icing that could easily replace it. Icing is also meltable is some instances! :)

  • @xCatasticTee

    Also, if you dont have marshmellow fluff, just put ALOT of marshmellows in the microwave to melt it down, youll end up with the exactly same thing just dont let it get too soft and thin. Make sure its thick so keep stirring it!
