I came across your channel almost 8 years ago now, and it truly brings me such joy to see you’re still as creative and wonderful now as you were then - can’t wait to see what other life transitions you and your channel are a part of 💖
My 6yr old daughter came across this video a few weeks ago, she has been asking me if we could make this probably 10 times a day. I finally caved and did it tonight, and we are both pleased with it. She's SO exited to use this bread tomorrow to make her a sandwich, I think she wants to "show off" lol to her little friends, and I don't blame her a bit. Thank you for the recipe!
Actually my mother named me Nazi, after my Grandma, it's pronounced Naw-Zee. I was born in Tehran, Iran. In Farsi, it's means something like cute, adorable or sweet in English though there's not an exact word for it in English.
Skipping all the steps to make it watermelon like (and the raisins cause hubby doesn't like them) this is my GO TO bread recipe and have added it to my binder of recipes I love. I don't know how many times I've made it. lol I've made 2 loaves in the past 5 days alone!
I used to watch this channel so much when I was 8,back in 2014,ESPECIALLY this video right here. Thank you for making my childhood better! You really helped me get through some hard times.
I used to watch this video with my dad back when I was 4, I remember making this and it took forever to rise! Now I’m almost 15 and I still use this recipe and it’s very nostalgic
I just wanted to finally say a THANK YOU! I have made this version of the bread several times as well as a red and white swirl (for Canada Day last year) and my kids absolutely love it! I am in the middle of a quadruple batch to donate to our kids school for their bake sale, as their sandwiches at lunch with the watermelon slices were a huge hit among their classes. The instructions are super easy and the end result not only looks amazing but tastes like perfect white fluffy bread you would have to go to a professional bakery to get.
You have really cool ideas. You should make a cookbook with all of these amazing things. This one might be a little advanced for me b/c I don't know how to do bread but so many of your other ideas I can't wait to try. Thank you for telling metric and non-metric measurements!
I don't know why, but I got super excited as you first cut the bread. This is awesome. A facebook post on your flower onion led me here. Now I can't stop watch your vids.
I have made this twice and I'll make it many more times!!!! This bread is super soft and yummy! With or without raisins! Love love love this! Thanks Yoyomax12
my friend made this for me as a birthday present! i loved it so much and i was very appreciative and wanted to know where she had found it from! i love you and your cow kettle so much and if you would not mind i would really love it if you made a private video saying 'hi suki and flora' for their birthday as they love you and their birthdays are coming up
yoyomax12 - the diet free zone I tried this recipe it's fantatic ;) So i confirm it's 190°C. And for those one who wanna try it, don't use silicon molds...bread is to heavy for this kind of molds.
Im a dude, without any average cooking skills, but im going to try it, cos thats something impressive and makes people smile.. Good video, and thanks for making me smile :)
I was watching this and thought, "hmm, that sounds like a Canadian accent." Sure enough eh! Very pro-looking results, she clearly knows her stuff. I just know mine would turn out looking like Kermit the Frog had a horrible accident..
What a beautiful job. I have lots of raisins that I wanted to share with friends and neighbors, so, this is one that I will families with kids....on the other hand, aren't we all kids? Thanks so much for your recipe. It is CREATIVE!
this is so cool thanks Sherrese, will make this for Christopher when I move back to Chicago. He will love it. So is my mom going to show her this when she get's back. This is so awesome.
I have made out 1 yesterday and the instruction were simple. Thanks for the tips. And the watermelon bread is yum yum cause of that raisins.I really love raisins and nothing will gone wrong with raisins:).My friends like it.Thx very much :)
Can I just say, you are simply wonderful. My mouth was agape watching your inspiration. When you made the Greenpeace joke I laughed so loud and hard that the cat sprung from the chair and ran away.
U make bread look so simple! My kids love bread n I like homemade ones too. Used to do these back in school days. Need to brush up back on my hands-on bread making. Thanks for inspiring me! ;)
When proofing the yeast you add the warm liquids and sugar. Salt is added to the flour because it is a yeast regulator and basically slows it down. You should check out the SFBI, they have great info on the science of baking.
Great ideas. I truly love trying different breads & would definitely purchase one of your loafs in a bake shop! I was reading some of the comments on your page, all I can say is there will always be someone who will not like or critize what you do. Take it in stride. Personally I think your bread skills are outstanding. I was going through a baking period for a while & made a few good French loaves but never as cool looking as yours! Awesome job keep up the good work can't wait to see what else you make!!!
It was perfect! Sweet, light and so good, I will be making it every two days instead of buying fruit bread. Easy too! Thank you for such a wonderful recipe that looks fantastic! Xx
Hello, I'm from Costa Rica and me and my husband just did your bread. It turns out great. We've changed raisins for nuts instead. Thxs. We'll try to them on smaller bites for the kids.
Aw, this looks so fun for mere bread that it makes me with I liked raisins. :) A wonderful idea, I'm about the only one from my family who doesn't eat them, so I might just as well try and see what the others think of it. Greetings from Czech Republic!
Forget all the hater yoyomax 12 your am amazing cooker and I don't even make these thing and I never have but they just make me happy just watching them

This is also my "go to " bread recipe, it turns out nice and light and fluffy each time. I've always had problems with dense bread prior to this.

176°C = 350°F
190°C = 375°F
I''ll try it.
Thanks! I corrected the information.
yoyomax12 - the diet free zone

Yoyomax12, Canadian, eh?
I was watching this and thought, "hmm, that sounds like a Canadian accent." Sure enough eh! Very pro-looking results, she clearly knows her stuff. I just know mine would turn out looking like Kermit the Frog had a horrible accident..
ITS THE MOST WONDERFUL THING I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE
What a cool idea! Are you Canadian? I noticed your way to pronounce "about" :D
I believe she's French Canadian
And the flour as "flower"
but isn't that the usual way to pronounce it? I'm from California and we pronounce it like "flower" too
Fabsi 97 Most people pronounce flour and flower the same way, I think. Apparently according to Clayford, other people don't, lol.
I think the British or Irish pronounce it like "oo"
What a beautiful job. I have lots of raisins that I wanted to share with friends and neighbors, so, this is one that I will families with kids....on the other hand, aren't we all kids? Thanks so much for your recipe. It is CREATIVE!
Anyone find she sounds like melissa mccarthy

Это просто шедевр! Я в восторге от увиденного,Обязательно сделаю такой!!!
All 10s for inventiveness. Pity I don't like watermelon.
