I have NO idea who you are, except by this video, which I found looking for mulberry tea advice. Your personality has such a "clean" sense to it, in how you talk, in the love for life you express, the simplicity and elegance in your thinking that comes out in words. I have very strong intuitive gifts and, as I was so touched by the gentility in your being, I was hoping to myself that, "Gee, I hope Wendi is as happy and peaceful in her real life, her inner life, her relationship life." Why? Because of how you were, on the day you made this video, you presented not only your subject with elegance and loaded with information, but your Spirit came through. I am a historian of violence. God bless you, whether you believe in a deity or not.... John

One site gave the nutritional breakdown of neem, moringa, and mulberry leaves. Not only is mulberry better than those, it's one of the most nutritious vegetables period. Because of that I make it into a powder and add to rice cooking water, soups, and stews. You could probably get a lot of the benefits and a mellower flavor just by cooking with the tea.

To get the full benefit from the leaves, one can extract them in a pressure cooker for about an hour - fresh or dried. Adding some ascorbic acid increases the extraction greatly, according to the testing. There are a lot of scientific papers on the subject and the health benefits are fairly astounding.

My Mulberry tree that’s over 70 years old gently laid down the other day and landed in the yard without hurting anything and is still alive! We had to trim branches today so now I’ll go get all the spring leaves off those. We are waiting to get the mulberry berry harvest in a few weeks before we will need to get it out of the yard. I have loved this mulberry tree for many years ... still ...

    • @wendiland

Maybe you can use some of the branches to make things for the garden as a way of keeping some of them. The tree may put out new growth as it is so hardy. Luckily nothing, no one was hurt! Give your tree a hug for me!

@@wendiland I have pet crickets and their habitats are going to expand to being covered in branches! Maybe caves... they have four inch in diameter little logs right now that they love perching on and eating the bark so I’m going to have to expand - for saving as much of the Mulberry tree as I can! My very first Miracle Girl cricket born by parthenogenesis (in the absence of a male) was named Mulberry after this tree! That was three years ago and she had four Miracle Girls eggs hatch and one of them is still alive !! Flower, my longest living cricket at 1 year and 11 months!
The Miracle Girls are all in one ten gallon fish tank I decorated as a fairy style garden and about a week prior to Mulberry tree laying down in the center of my yard I pulled out a twenty gallon fish tank to finish decorating because there are seven Miracle Girls now and they could use more space. I have the feeling the walls of the tank are now going to be covered in Mulberry tree branches. And I heard what you said about the thin branches being moldable! That I can shape them and then they would dry holding that shape. I just need to decide on shapes and give it a try, THANK YOU!
If you want to see pictures of the crickets I have them on Stay Pumped Facebook page in a folder called, Cricket ChErRy 🍒! She was the first mascot for Stay Pumped and Mulberry was her first egg to hatch. Only two eggs hatched and they lay eggs often-so it seems to be a miracle that any of them hatched! Anyway - I’m greatly looking forward to using as much of the Mulberry tree as I can for the Miracle Girls that all started the day cricket Mulberry was born! Feels so comfortingly meant to be as I write this to you right now 💝🌈🙏🍇🎄Blessings of Mulberry Tree and the crickets ! Stay Pumped 🎈🍇🌸💞 Have a good day ... thanks again - I enjoyed your video!

Our mulberry bush-tree grows 10 to 15 feet every year and every year we cut it back below 8 feet. This year, we can it down to 5 feet and it came back like nothing has happened. It yield so much fruit and leaves, we left most of them to the animals. We dry most 🍃 for medicinal use. Most like we cook a batch with ginger once in a while and drink it like soup. We have a cutting of Pakistani mulberry variety last year from a home garden guy and one of the cutting made it. Looking forward to grow that in my yard and have fruit by next year.

Broussonetia papyrifera, This is the same tree used for paper and cloth. According to wikipedia : The wood of the plant is useful for making furniture and utensils, and the roots can be used as rope.[3] The fruit and cooked leaves are edible.[
The fruit, leaves, and bark have been used in systems of traditional medicine. For example, the bark and fruit of the species, known locally as jangli toot, are used as a laxative and antipyretic in rural Pakistan.[
The species is used as an ornamental plant. It tolerates disturbance and air pollution, so it has been useful as a landscaping plant on roadsides. It is a pioneer species that easily fills forest clearings, and it has been considered for reforestation efforts.[3] It grows well in many climate types.

Might have to actually buy and transplant from pots some mature trees for my goat pen i will have them outside of until i have a good feeling the tress are mature enough for them to not kill... them being goats.
Now in regards to the sap, can that be harvested/used for anything beneficial? nutrient content for animals?

I have a mulberry tree in my home. But its fruit fell down. Do you have any solution to that problem?
I have a Pakistani mulberry tree and I live in Pakistan. So, weather shouldn't be a problem.

Hi Wendi! I am new to your channel and just subscribe! Amazing videos! I would like to know if you know how to prepare the young leaves for cooking or eating? Because I did some research and found that the sap of the plant might affect some people because of its toxic substance. I am thinking to make a caffeine free fermented leaves (much like the Burmese Laphet) but using mulberry leaves instead of green tea leaves since i heard mulberry leaves tea smells like green tea! Please let me know if you know any info regarding the preparation prior to consumption. Million thanks!

That is a great idea!! I personally don’t eat a lot of the leaves. I mostly dry them or tea. You would pick the tender new growth if you want ferment them I assumed - just like “tea needles”. Sap will stop soon after they are plucked off from the stem. Give them a wash before use. That’s how I would prepare it. Disclaimer *Do your research to make sure you are preparing it safely.
