Dr.F This is one fantastic blaster. We picked one of these up several days ago. We experienced the same thing (Its awesome). Thanks for the great review as always. Keep up the great work.
Great video sir. Looking forward to a mod guide for this one, I have one and the Only issue that I have found with mine is if you short stroke the prime it comes out half way and won’t let the drum advance but just drop the nose and the dart will drop right out. Keep up the great work sir.
The expression Foam flinging covers well all the current blaster brands in the hobby. Nerf will always be my reference, although Hasbro has done some very bad commercial choices. Nice review!
I think it’s technically the Dart Zone Adventure Force Villainator rather than AF DZ V. Company->Brand/Series (Putting Primetime toys is too much tho lol)
As an expericenced nerfer, who doesn't like magazines and flywheels, I absolutely would love to get my hands on it. Definitely the best blaster of all time imo.
If it means anything, I like the cuts and understand the feel that you’re trying to go for. Much more entertaining than a one take video in the same spot. Loving the improvement. Keep it up.
My only question is... should I get two of these? Considering how easy is to remove and re-attach the "drum" I am really thinking about picking up another one because I just love this blaster. Maybe I could have one modded and the other for normal use.... Hmmm.... I mean it's just $20!
I wouldn't be surprised if people did that with their (E-)ATs, as that was a 20 buck blaster too. But yeah, make sure you clearly mark which one is modded, of course (at least someone made snap on plates to replace the AF logo)
Yeah, the 'drum' spins very easily...way too easy on mine, as it would roll the drum when I put it in storage with the drum still in (Floor level storage, natch). But I have way less qualms rotating this drum compared to rotating Cyclone shock's cylinder.
I really do dig the Villainator, but I gotta say I have to point out the few downsides, though of those I can only think of two. Firstly and less importantly, as with a large number of Dart Zone blasters, they lack paint. I know that this is a bit of a nitpick, but a lot of folk seem to complain about Nerf's lack of paint on both sides of the blaster, yet Zuru and Dart Zone often seem to get a pass. Secondly, and more importantly, I don't like this Blaster's minimal sling points. While the stock provides a good point, if one wants to remove it, there's really not a good place to attach a sling to the blaster, as the rings on the top rail look more aesthetic than functional. While I agree Dart Zone has been doing better this year than Nerf overall, I have to appreciate that Nerf consistently provides sling points on their blasters.
Dart Zone, Buzz Bee, and Zuru/X-shot get a pass on the paint because they are much cheaper than Nerf. Also, they are at least doing different panels that can be removed for easy painting.
It’s official. It’s foam flinging...or nothing! Well, almost. Nerf did come out with the Motostryke and the Rival Saturn, but oh how the tables have turned! Actually, that’s not fair. I also like the GL, Roundhouse, & ZS Alternator. It’s just that 2020 has sucked as a year culturally-speaking and Nerf launched another bum lines (E2) and continued two more in the Alpha Strike & Ultra.
Anyone else who owns this blaster experience a "ringing" after firing the blaster? Mine is both loud and there is a short "ring" after firing. Is this normal?
Be careful opening my first one was jammed when I opened it little parts and springs went everywhere even if I fixed it would of never got it back together
Blaster is all good except the darts fall out when blaster is pointed down. Very disappointing. They should've made the drum slots a little tighter. Had to return. Frustrating.
The villainator is bad, it"s prime will freeze and this is a good one, how can you lie to people that the villainator good but it very bad like there elite 2.0 blasters better than this, performance is good but the prime has frozen 5 times,I think I would like the elite 2.0 warden better than that.
DZ now has the best entry-level options for both springers and flywheelers by miles.
You just can't beat the value on Villainator and Spectrum.
I have both. My fiancée and I love them. We're looking to get maybe a Storm Squad and Cornerfire next.
I gotta get one then!
@@jamesp.6753 awesome! I got the cornerfire, such a cool blaster to manuever and guard corners with
We just picked this up also, and love it! GREAT REVIEW!!!!!!

Great to hear!
Dang now that's a spicy blaster
Switch the stock with the spectrum. They look better with each other's stocks. That's what I did.
This is how a review should be done. He does what’s actually important. Chrono, range, quality, and non-bias.
Coop772 does as well, except he doesn’t include range. I would like for him to add a range test
Happy foam flinging

Happy dart slinging? I like the sound of that. What do you guys think?
Happy tagging?
@kaiser sage darting make thank of a joke. By the way. Who Darted?

Zaka 07 dart flinging
this blaster is great for HvZ and is a nice upgrade of the Turbo Advance/Super Drum by the parts they did on this blaster
Foam flinging or dart tag sound good to me.
Solid review on a solid blaster.
Just picked one up it's amazing
I like it a lot, might consider buying and modding

I liked this so much I bought a second to have for when I can host games again
I agree I use it more than my nexus pro
So many camera cuts! I have a a slight headache. Feels like when watching a wwe show.
Ill tone it down next time

Nicely stated.

I wonder if you can do a shot gun mod with it
Love it
I like it more than the Nexus too!
Put a brass breech on both the blaster and the drum
Please test the Sportsman with some of the pro darts it's a pusher style breach and nobody else has taken that into consideration
ok will do! thanks for the recommendation
Happy Blasting!
the stock is a little short for me, but yeah, this is great.
Even though the Nexus pro is an amazing blaster how many times do you have to change magazine to shoot 40 darts
Dr flux: easy to remove the drum
Coop772: this magazine is not designed to be removed
yep just checked and still easy to remove the drum. Also tried on one of Walcoms7's villinator... In conclusion not everything Coup says is true.
can we get a video about the mod to ur Jupiter on the wall
You mention the huntsman by Dart Zone but have not seen anything on it, please explain
I meant sportsman and Im working on that review atm.
with 3d printing we can make any of those stocks work with each other. Not hard to do really
I hope it will be aviable in europe...
Is this one better than super drum

I’ll take your entire stock

Mine does. I think its normal
Can you release the drum?
yes!
@@drflux Thanks for the video. Where can I buy the scope and possibly an additional drum. 💯💯👍🏽👍🏽

What’s the price
Cool i'm early
My magnum superdrum's days are numbered...
Wait, dart Zone huntsman?
Sportsman
oof!
@@homelee665 oof alright, really looking forward to a dart Zone sniper lol
@@drflux You said sportsman and huntsman, was the extra one just a brain fart or is there really another surprise from dart zone.
