Dart zone really has become a good company.
All those 40 darts are Waffle head class,so you automatically get more accurate darts for 20 bucks,and a good blaster that nerf would do 50 for.

I got this yesterday and I'm completely head over heels in love with it. I'm a big guy with big hands/wingspan, but this thing fit me PERFECTLY. It's so comfortable to shoulder that it feels like they measured me for the fit. I don't have to chicken wing, I don't have to strain, I just hold the trigger and pump 40 rounds of foam fury down range. PRIME TIME TOYS IF YOU START MAKING TRANSFORMING ACTION FIGURES THEN HASBRO AND I ARE OFFICIALLY OVER AND YOU AND I CAN BEGIN A BEAUTIFUL RELATIONSHIP!

I think if multiple people message dart zone that they want to buy just the vilinator drum, dart zone would be more likely to make that a possibility

@@blight6080 They're quite expensive, if the blaster costs 20 bucks and the drum costs 15 that means the blaster itself without the drum is only 5 bucks worth, I'd rather buy two more blasters than two more drums just to tinker with them and in case I break the main one cause it'd only be 5 more bucks each.

Walcom, I’d love to see a fully customized nexus pro with custom paint job and 3D printed parts! But ultimately you do you, I always love whatever you upload!
It takes a spring upgrade fine. I put a turf blasters 8kg spring that has been cut down a little. Catches fine. And shoots avg 108-110fps

Genuinely if I could only have one blaster in a nerf war, it would be this one. With good FPS, high capacity with easy front loading, good usability, and most of all, massive buffs to intimidation if you’re a a mafia boss trying to win a nerf war. Good on you prime time toys.
If you take out the top 4 screws, you can get the shell open enough to pull out the flags that prevent half dart fire. I did it and it works great. You can also just tape them or glue them down.

Note for removing the drum:
It can be removed a lot easier by leveraging it so that one side pops out at a time.
It's not hard to remove at all anyways so no real worries.
My favourite part of this blaster is the thought and care put into design and execution. Quality products made by people as passionate about the hobby as we are.
Definitely the best blaster of all time imo
Update after almsot 4 years: Finally got a chance to order it, and for a fair price. It's still the best blaster of all time.
After seeing all the glowing reviews, I went out and bought one of these. It totally lives up to the hype! There are few things as satisfying as unloading the whole drum in a rapid-fire hail of foam. Definitely one of the best values out there!

I might get two of these, one to use and one for "parts"- throw the stock on a spectrum, and alternate drums.
for only 40 dollars it’s reasonable
Bought one a couple of weeks ago and was very impressed, your review has convinced me to get a couple more so my kids and I can play a 3 way game on an even footing. Makes me slightly regret the Super Drum (you call it the Turbo Advance) I bought at the same time for $5 more, but I could return that as it's unopened. It's easier to put the darts in this drum too, in the Super Drum they are a little tight when pushing in sometimes.
This is exactly what I want, a Pump Action (With a front pistol grip), high capacity, Slam fire enabled blaster that fires the Adventure Force Waffles without hiccups. It's like my Rampage but BETTER

Coming from a salesman who sells high end, quality products underpriced in a Minecraft server.
Better deals = Better sales. You can get back your money once you get it out there and tons of people are after it.
The interesting thing about this is the barrel shape which allows the double stack drum to operate in a much smaller package.
I find the slam fire on the disruptor really good as you don't have to prime the blaster back then forward before you can shoot, it just springs back into place. if the villinator had that I think it would be great
i just got one on these an Nexus Pro and a Aeon Pro and this was the best performer of the three, i use these at the annual family Christmas day war. So I really like this blaster
Great video sir. I love this blaster, I bought it as soon as I saw it on the shelf. The only thing that I have found is that if you short stroke the prime the dart comes out of the drum half way into the barrel, just drop the barrel down so the dart falls out and it’s all good. Keep up the great work man I’m pumped for all these Dart Zone blasters.
So glad I have one of these. Even more glad I modded mine to take both standard waffles and half darts. Even more glad I ordered 2-3 extra drums from prime time toys.

It's weird looking back 2 years ago and now we have the pro version of this blaster
For some reason if I slam fire mine too quickly, the drum will stop spinning and it will continuously dry fire. I don’t really know why. It also sounds really loud when you dry fire. I like the blaster a lot though.

Noticed the same problem. My first impression is it's caused by short-shucking, i.e. not completely cycling, but I will research it some more.
I have the villinator and the spectrum and you can put the spectrum scope on the villinator so the rails are the same, so dart zone is building up there own system
Kudos for the only one that I know of that reviewed this blaster to mention the dart sensor for the blaster to know which dart to fling next, like a smart air restrictor by not being a smart air restrictor. Although, you crushed my idea of double or single flinging half-length darts, especially the ones that come with the Nexus Pro. I also hope they make a Pro series of this one like yo mentioned so it could fling half-legnth darts too. Have a blessed weekend Walcom S7.
This is like a Rampage MK2. Cheaper, same slam handle, 40 darts, removable drum mag, AWESOME look, and actually comes with a stock! I love this thing so much, best $22 I ever spent.
2 years later the vilanator still holds up pretty good

Something I've been thinking about with the Turbo Advance is that if it can shotgun with half darts, you could put full length darts in one ring and pairs of half darts in the other, that way you can switch between regular shots and a shotgun. Downside is that I don't remember the Turbo Advance having slam fire.
I just got the nexus pro and I absolutely love it i wanna use the villinater as the secondary it used one time and it makes a perfect secondary i advise buying both and making a loadout with the 2

I have zero doubt that the designers at Prime Time Toys designed the Spectrum, Villainator, and Sportsman as something of an HVZ trinity to deliberately compensate for the Nexus Pro firing over 130 FPS.
I wonder if you can mod the Villainator to hit better, the priming linkage is a bit worrying...

This is a really fun one. I haven’t gotten a chance to get the nexus pro yet, but I picked this up and have never been so satisfied with a blaster purchase. You should do reviews on the rebel mech, and the battle blazer next... picked those up as well and both were also extremely satisfying

It seems easy enough to make it into a shotgun by printing a new drum where the barrels are in line on top of each other. Then you could have your normal drums and swap in the shotgun drum when you need it, though actually that might not work depending on the rotation mech. The performance would prolly be not very good but maybe with half darts it wouldn't be so horrible.

Next question: can you mod this thing to fire two darts since there is a wider opening for the barrel? Would be really neat
I think if you plug first half of the barrel with some kind of tubing, you should be able to convert it to use half darts. Another solution would be to print a custom drum that doesn't let half darts go all the way in and makes them stick out like full darts.

I've had my villinator for like four months and only just realized that you could flip up the sight.
2 years later I can still walk into Walmart and find this and the Nexus Pro on store shelves. Good on you DZ for not pointlessly discontinuing good products a year after release. And might I mention the only 2 sub series they have? DZ is looking a lot better than nerf in retrospect, the only place Nerf has got them beat is the blaster modding community, but that’s becuase you don’t need to mod a DZ blaster lol
Damn good gun! I mained it mostly all day at Jared's Epic Blaster Battle 5 and 6 yesterday.
I bought one a couple weeks ago and the barrels were so loose the dart would fall back out so I returned it, doesn’t look like you had that problem so I may try another
