Hey walcom, I heard that you wanted to see more lever action blasters, so when you said that I looked at your channel and I saw that you never reviewed the nerf zombie strike scravenger, I don’t know if you have it or don’t want to review, but if you don’t have a problem with it, can you please review it, also if you don’t have it, you can go on Walmart, and they sell it for like forty dollars from the seller “kids warehouse” I’d put the link but youtube keeps deleting my comment I think. I hope you keep making and enjoy to make this awesome content, have great day or night walcom.
If this is the beginning of the end of Buzzbee then I'm gonna miss the times they came out of nowhere and gave nerf a run of its money. Onto the greener pastures as they say.
By my memory, that color of Reaper was KMart exclusive. There was another the same year and it has been recolored again since. The Black and blue scheme is sexy.
I feel bad for MongooseJake now that his favorite company has been doing shady stuff recently and used to be so great in the past like you showed! Very neat and enjoyable video!!
What I remember most about Buzzbee was the original Double Shot. Super gimmicky, with proprietary shells it was better off using and probably wouldn't have fired well without anyway. I loved every second of it until it broke.
Man, buzz bee took a nosedive in their blaster performance didn't they? This video just painfully reenforces my view of them. They not only dropped the ball harder than season 2 of one punch man, they also managed to reach a level of failure that not even Dragonball: evolution and 4kidstv combined could reach.

They do have their ups and downs. When they're up, they give nerf a good run, but when they're down.... ouch. These guys made the big blast, the berserker, boss and tyrant, but they have had some stinkers. Lol
I really like many of Buzz Bee's springers. The Reaper has a fond place in my heart because IIRC it was my first Buzz Bee blaster, and also my first mag-fed blaster (I haven't been in the hobby all that long).
I like this format and would love to see more reviews on older blasters and comparing to their modern day counterparts. Love what you do Walcom keep it up!!!
Even though I've never had a reaper, I've always liked it and this is a nice reminder of a blaster that isn't vintage, but not new either. Thanks Walcom, you're doing great things! 🧡💚💛
This was always a grail blaster for me. Never did manage to get my hands on one, but I love the aesthetics and the performance hasn't disappointed anyone I know who's reviewed it.
Buzzbee "Oh shit people noticed the ones we sent out initially are wildly different in performance than off the shelf ones.. quick send out fixed blasters to other reviewers!!" Good idea there buzzbee.. :D
I had a Sentinel, alongside a Slingfire. Mainly because I absolutely loved lever-actions. I sold it alongside with all my blasters because I never found someone to nerf with.
good god, now you got me wanting some crazy Dartzone pro line lever action blaster, they could do something real crazy with a tube fed rifle shooting half lengths
I just want to say you are all awesome. The support you give is unreal. Awe-inspiring. I swear we're going to have some interesting stuff coming out next week, and some MASSIVELY cool stuff in the next couple.
Buzz Bee does rerelease their old stuff occasionally (whereas X-Shot does it constantly :P). The Sentinel should be at the top of their list if they ever needed more time to perfect new gimmick blasters
They rerelease their old stuff, but never for the blasters that we wanted. Many of us are still still waiting for another Sentinel, Destiny, Brute, Tyrant, etc.....No, We don't need another Champion reshell or a flimsy bolt-action, Buzz Bee! (Not saying Champion reshells are bad, but they don't need to redesign it every year. Spend that time on something else)
Guys it’s not all doom and gloom. Buzz Bee had some really excellent blasters in 2020, even if a few were a little weird. They still performed great. I think Buzz Bee needs a redemption arc. >Sentinel >Destiny >Reaper/Revolution pistol >Springfire(great SOLID little 4 dollar pistol) >a bunch of others Don’t count them out yet.

Yes! Your ThunderShot vid had me thinking of the reaper specifically. I remember telling friscobandito how fuckin awesome the Reaper was. We cleaned out a KMart and I firmly believed this thing was the best off the shelf HvZ gat for new players.
Kids and I still pull out the first blasters I bought for us. A Buzzbee Snipe and three Champions. Even after acquiring a fairly large collection of nerf branded blasters. We have a Predator as well as the adventure force version. The buzzbee branded predator seems to hit harder and definitely is more reliable than what should have been the exact same blaster that just changed name. The old Buzzbee was an excellent budget brand and had excellent customer service. Sad to see what's happening with them recently.
I love this. One of my go to blasters is my sealed breech champion. It's got a retaliator barrel integration to hold the brass barrel and a barricade stock attachment lug. I normally use a raider stock and it's got a k26 upgrade. 190 fps with relatively cheap and easy work. I don't think I spent any extra money building it. Everything came out of my scrap bin except for the epoxy to mount the barrel. This was in the days when the caliburn was the hottest thing and I refused to jump on the bandwagon. I got the same performance using literal trash in my shop and it won't break easy like a printed blaster.
Is it really? I'm kind of turned off by yet another new ammo type, and the fact that they're so much smaller than everything else means you'll just lose them more. I'm not really sure I wanna make the plunge even if the performance is good.
@@Theonetruefinalboss I had the same feelings, but Walcom made a really good argument for them in his Hyper videos and while yeah, you're pretty much only firing those balls 1-3 times with their size, refills are plentiful (as long as you don't go to Walmart) and feel more worth the asking price than the Elite Refills. if you're *that* hesitant, wait for some 3P company to make a cheaper refill, like Adventure Force did with the Waffle-Dart and their Not!Rival Rounds.
I didn't think of it that way before, but I have to agree. The only cool BuzzBee blaster under the Adventure Force line was the Double Fire because it modernized the classic Double Shot. Other than that, I never saw a reason to pick a BuzzBee blaster over one from Nerf or Dart Zone.
