  • I filmed at Minster Lovell ruins as promised but my equipment couldn't handle the dark to the footage was unusable. So I walked 10 miles in a day and talk to you about my sponsored walk fr Guideposts charity which is coming up.

    Well done. That’s amazing. I’m building up to do over 500 miles a month for a charity. I am planning on walking around the woodlands and paths of Blenheim. It’s about 5 miles. 2-3 hours Well done on a fantastic week. Xx

      Wow that would be amazing!!
      I did think about doing 500 miles in a month too but I don't have the time to do that much when I have to take care of baby alone. It wouldn't be fair to drag her all over the place. Good luck though! Let me knkw when you're doing it and I'll be sure to sponsor you xxx

      @@SFSemtex I will do the 500 plus miles on my bike. I saw a few people doing them on Facebook. So will look at one. I did over 1200 miles in the summer on my bike. I’m a chicken and the weather has been very mixed and cold for me to go out much now lol.

      Inspiring video! I started walking 5 1/2 months ago at 233lbs and could only make it 3 miles. My leg muscles were so weak from sitting around for so long. I just kept pushing a little further each day and eventually made it 10 miles, then 12, 14, 18 miles, and my longest is 21 miles. I've lost 34 lbs so far. My pace started about 3 mph but I eventually worked it up to 4 mph. The hardest part is finding the time! It's easier for me because me kids are grown. Finding a minimum of 2 1/2 a day to walk 10 miles is more time than many people have to spend. I love walking. I'm 54 years old and feel better than I have for 20 years. Thanks again for the video and sharing a little about your personal struggles. I've also had anxiety and panic attacks since I was a teenager. That's why I love walking because it makes me relax!

      @@yippydippy6589 Walking is great on so many levels. You're right about the time it takes though.
      I totally get it about your leg muscles. I was in a lot of pain when I first started walking. I was 250lb and every step hurt my knees, hips and feet.
      I feel no pain now and the best I have in 15 years.
      Well done to you for losing weight and for getting fit! 21 miles is quite the achievement!
