While the compound grind was fine, I definitely prefer the full hollow, both for looks and cutting. I am still wishing you had gone with different studs though.
Would also be great to see if they could offer some milled clips.

So excited for this to finally drop! Got in on the Seigaiha pre order. Compond grind looks great but I went with full hollow grind for the minimalist clean look!

I think some companies don't crown the spine because if the back edge is sharper it's easier to fire scrape??? I'm guessing not 100% on that. But i love the design.

Just my personal opinion from a random guy on the Internet. I respect the passion and the fact that you were able to get these produced and sold but I think some of the design decisions are a bit curious. I'm no knife designer by any means so my opinion means nothing, but...
1. With such an emphasis on minimalism, why make such an overall thick knife? Both in blade stock and also total handle width? I personally hear minimalism and associate it with "less is more" and instinctively think of thin and sleek.
2. The overall scale shape is a bit confusing to me. Why have did you choose to have a downward taper to the end of the handle? It seems like the blade will naturally nudge itself forward without any positive angled material at the rear. Also for more of balance reasons, the overly tall (width-wise) blade with such a thin overall handle is reminiscent of like a sword tang without its grip/handle installed. You mentioned the Malibu as inspiration and I can definitely see that, but imo the size ratio of the Malibu does make sense from a balance perspective. With the Miso, I am getting a bit of "kitchen knife proportions" vibes.
3. Just more of an aesthetic thing, but the lockbar design looks sort of like an afterthought with just a slight symmetrical curve that follows along the entire bar. I'm sure it functions fine, but it looks like you could have integrated some cosmetic variation (like even simply a straight vertical line and 90 degree right angle cutout) with the extra lock-side scale material beneath the pivot screw. If the lockbar cutout matched the clean parallels of the internal milling pockets, that to me is a bit more appealing.
4. The thumbstuds definitely have the minimalist look, but the flat-faced cylindrical knobs don't look as comfortable to use over time. Also the pure contrast of the blasted thumbstud finish on the uncoated models sort of gives it that "bolt on aftermarket thumbstuds" look.
Again, this is solely my personal opinion from a purely consumer standpoint and I completely get that this is 100% your own unique design. Total respect to you for getting to this point. I just wanted to point out some of the questions that went through my head as I was watching the overview.
