@Thunderhour In this video, the output of the iRig is going into my computer monitors, so that's is the sounds that the camera microphone is picking up.
@rotren Ok, you can upload MP3s to jam along with, but you can’t access iTunes directly. Also, you can’t slow the songs down in the player, but you can loop a phrase to drill your skills.
@garljr you can get a special adapter from any electrical shop...if you have a 2 way headphone jack to jack wire you can get an adapter guitar jack that the headphone cable plugs into so one end plugs into your headphone input and one plugs into your guitar input
Robert, I like you man! Ever since I saw the 'Pro Junior'-video I've been checking your site, the video's and your work as a guitarplayer, teacher and online-entrepreneur. I think you are doing a great job and you really seem like a good person. Cheers from The Netherlands!
This is a very cool app and one that I will probably buy. But honestly, I think you could make just about anything sound awesome. You are a tremendous player.
yes, or if you have computer speakers you can use the cable that should be provided with those speakers, as for an amp, you will need a 1/8 to 1/4 lead adaptor
Great thing! And great playing...You are so categorical in Your performance! Btw Your guitar sounds awesome, and before i see it i tough its LP or somethig- so deep-toned soud! An last one- absolutely tuned guitarq which lacks in 99% of guitar video clips. Grats from Bulgaria!
not bad at all .....busking possibilities are endless other than that traveling tones, whats the battery life when using it thats the big question (after the price of coarse)
@ditoarch06 You have to get the application also. But, you can get a free version that has limited amount of gear and such, or you can pay a certain amount of money to get the full version :)
thing sounds real good, you may wish too keep this it might be your best tone. You are a tone expert , yeah you said pretty cool. Yeahyou said you would use it again. I had heard of it as software and it sounded great. I use line 6 stuff have 2 pod pros .I think this sounded more like a real amp . Then again I think the pod pro sounds better than the pod pro XT LOL
Hi yall fair warning to anyone who runs into this video in the future, the amplitube app doesn't function for the irig anymore only the UA Alternatives include : Tonebridge, Deplike which are both still fully compatible
Do you think the free version of these apps is enough? I just want to be able to have some effects and a good professional sounding clean, crunch and overdrive. Any guesses?
It's a really cool demo thanks, i use this program with pro tools! Funny how technology allows for this kind of stuff..i will say however, having the real deal in front of you ...(listening as i write , i love your playing style!)...is always gona sound better! ;) All the best!
wait how would you connect the irig to an amp instead of some headphones since one of the plug is for the guitar while the other output is too small for a cord to hook up to the amp, or do you have to have some kind of special plug for it to hook on the head phone side
Hey. Can you create an awesome clean or rock sound with iRig, even with a bad guitar? My guitar is not that good, and I was wondering if you need a real good guitar aswell to create an awesome sound..
hi imcourious to know if with that same irig type,does the sound only come out through the headphones or is there a way where are you ableto make it come out throught the speakers for ipad
can you use this app without iRig? because i have an adapter that allows me to plug my guitar into my ipod but no sound comes out. Is there a certain setting it needs to be at to be able to hear it? or do i have to get an iRig? I really don't want to spend $30-$40 on an iRig. Is there a cheaper / alternative way to do it or make it work?
Hey im having trouble with my iphone (3) since the audio is intercepted by the voice speaking and it doesn't sound the guitar, only my voice . How can i turn off the audio voice so it doen't interrupt my sound guitar?
i have bought the iRig but there is no guitar sound going into the iphone, it seems that the input for the guitar is broken ... anyone else got this problem?
So do i have to connect it to my amp or just from bass to IRig and i can hear the sound cause i dont hear anything when i plug it and run the app. please help me!!!!
@Thunderhour In this video, the output of the iRig is going into my computer monitors, so that's is the sounds that the camera microphone is picking up.
Great demo. It's probably one of the most useful things you can do with an iPhone! Thanks for posting!

Really nice demo. Very nice riffs too, tastefully executed and very educational! I'm learning a lot.

@ditoarch06 You have to get the application also. But, you can get a free version that has limited amount of gear and such, or you can pay a certain amount of money to get the full version :)
@GuitarEd48 I don't think that is possible.
@ditoarch06 yes you need the application installed on your device
thing sounds real good, you may wish too keep this it might be your best tone.

@ImmortalDestructor yes, it can
Do you have to buy the application seperate from the iRig? or does it come with the iRig?
So how do you get the sound into an amp or speaker? Do you need some kind of 1/8" to 1/4" adaptor?
will sound come out of the ipod or iphone itself? or do you have to plug it into a speaker to get sound?
@rotren thanks for answer :-)
What Type Of Cable Did You Use For This? My IrIg Isnt Working So Im Wondering If Its My Guitar Cable. Thanks.
A question, can you simultaneously play to a song or backing track from the iPhone(iPod) ? somebody knows?
just plug it to the iPod's headphone jack, then the application just works? no need to install or download the application ??

First time I have ever been motivated to buy a Ipod/Iphone. XD
hi imcourious to know if with that same irig type,does the sound only come out through the headphones or is there a way where are you ableto make it come out throught the speakers for ipad
what happens when there's an incoming call?
Is it neccessary to use the iRig connector cause, i have a jack thing that connects to a jack like the earphones jack, its hard to explain.
can you use this app without iRig? because i have an adapter that allows me to plug my guitar into my ipod but no sound comes out. Is there a certain setting it needs to be at to be able to hear it? or do i have to get an iRig? I really don't want to spend $30-$40 on an iRig. speaking and it doesn't sound the guitar, only my voice . How can i turn off the
audio voice so it doen't interrupt my sound guitar?
@ozzy8926 it says that it's not recommended to use iRig on iPod and iPhone 1st generations:)
cheers!
can you use it with an electro acoustic??
the only reason i would buy this is to practice while listening to the ipod app. otherwise i don't see why one would want to buy it.
@yamaha01216 yes it can
Can this app get a metal guitar tone?
