BTW, some line-level sources are a bit too hot for the OP-Z with just a TRRS splitter. You can fix this with a pad cable, they're commonly sold as "line to mic level" DSLR accessories.
Great little tut! Appreciate the thought that went into it, I had this song stuck in my head all day haha, on the radio, on the radio, on the radi-radi-radi-radi-radio!
Thank you! That is the best compliment :) I really like what you do too!!! I wish I could make a nice videopack myself, but as a beginner it is quite a daunting task :/
That PO SOUNDS DOPE. I finally bit the bullet and bought a 133 Street fighter. Although I don't need it and I have a ton of samplers, it sure looks like fun
I can't wait. My opz is being shipped to me. It just so happens that I have the speech synth. I have several and Im looking forward to using the all together. I was hoping the opz had its own auto tune
I don’t own the oplab, but I’m curious: did the OP-Z basically send a sync click track through the red cable? Was that what the oplab was for in this case? And could you have used the oplab for the line in from the PO as well, instead of the TRRS splitter?

Thanks for the tip! What happens if you send a signal in that's too hot?
@@SONWU I just had some trouble controlling volume on those signals, esp if they had lots of dynamic range.
@@summarity Did it cut out randomly?
@@SONWU no, some artifacts, but not longer dropouts
@@summarity ...then I don't really know how to solve it, but you can change the input volume with SCREEN + P and SCREEN + MIXER. Good Luck!
Damn would love too see you do some more jams with this setup! Sounds great dude!!!
My PO-35 is gone, but I'll do some more Auto-Tune and OP-Z using other means soon.

@@SONWU Thanks man! Let's set you up with a custom pak then, head over to the discord and DM teegee with your thoughts - discord.gg/CD3NmgQ

Great purchase! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do :)
Oh man these workflow ideas with a ZM-4 🤩
Yes, I can't wait :)

Yeah, OP-Z with its own autotune would be nice, but maybe with the new module those should make a great combo! Enjoy!
Great music and appreciate the run down on how to connect I have the same setup.
Thank you, hope you enjoy it!
I have a PO- 35 coming soon, thank you, this video will help a lot.
I’ve always loved the voice synth sounds in the PO-Speak....
Great Stuff
It's a great tool, hope you'll enjoy it. Doesn't always fit, but when it does it's great fun!
@@SONWU Oh Yeah I will...thanks
Merci pour ce tutoriel :)
My pleasure!
Fantastic, such deep knowledge!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it
Maaaan I want both now :D
Thanks for sharing
You can also feed any other PO back into the OP-Z this way, in case you already have some. That way you can free up some tracks.

You're right, it's just a simple click track. The OPlab doesn't have a normal line-in though...I hope they'll make a line-in module some day.
Nice video!!
Thank you!
