Thank you so much for posting this. Been wanting a decked for years. Swapped my 2010 ranger for a 2001 access cab. I watched this video like ten times until I finally ordered one. Installed it last night. I love it and found this super helpful!
That’s awesome that worked so well for you. I was lucky to find one from a 2017 Nissan frontier that fits my 06 double cab like a glove. Such a great system to have.
@@brakeforsnakes damn that is nice food grade too. Hey do you think this build would work if i put a rhino liner spray on the bed? Have the plastic liner from Toyota but im sure that wouldn’t work with this cause of the trimming. Cant see a spray liner being a huge issue do you?
Thanks for your time and willingness to record this very informative video. I own a 2003 Tundra access cab with a 76.25" bed. and I'm almost ready to order. Do you know the exact length of your Decked drawer system? I have searched everywhere for the XT4 but can't find that number
Thank you. I just installed the XT4 on my 2003 Tundra. Your video helped me have to confidence to tackle the project. I just finished and it seems like its going to work great. I ended up removing all four the factory tie downs for it to fit, but the kit only comes with two replacements. I looked but did not find DECKED tie downs on their website. Does anyone know where I can get a pair of them?
So happy you did the homework for the rest of us, and the new system doesn’t have ammo cans to cut into. I just ordered mine thanks to you. @tiostundra
Couple of things... They definitely mixed up your left/right stickers in the factory! 😂 Also, I'm gonna send it with my DC. I'm tracking the difference in bed length is 0.4" (AC inside bed length is 74.7 and the DC is 74.3 inches). Looks like it will fit damn near perfectly!
... aaannnddd SHE GOES! XT4 fits like a glove front to back in the DC. My only gripe is the space on the sides. It's pretty considerable (2.25"). I'm willing to bet the new gen F-250 model (XS3) would be a better fit width-wise (based on others using the legacy version of that model). I reckon I'll just stuff some foam on both sides. Not ideal, but it'll do.
@@Bandit.6139 did the XT4 fit in your first gen DC without any modification, or did you still have to cut out the corners a little like Jim Bob did in the video?
Honestly sucks! I want one really bad but not willing to guess on the right model and ship it to Hawaii to find out i guest wrong! I have been trying to figure this out for about 2 years now.

Rad! Glad to hear there's an option for the DC's
@Fparrish I just got a 06 DC, do you have a model number or pictures of what you have?!?
Are you on one of the tundra forums? This info would be welcomed there!
@@kickapoohiace8747yup I am and have a thread about it
@@brakeforsnakes great, which tundra forum and whats your call sign on there so i can find it?
Thank you for this! 🙌🏾
🤘🏻
I have a double cab and would LOVE this! If someone confirms with you that this works in a DC, let us all know!
Someone commented above with one that works
The holy grail of videos! 🙏🏼 also have an 06 AC this is sick. There goes $1500 😬. Whats on the inside of your tailgate??
You won’t regret it! It’s a mountain hatch tailgate insert which is a good grade plastic tailgate cover.

@@jeremiahroberts1989 the plastic liner definitely won’t work. I took mine out but a spray in liner should be fine.
Just wait and search marketplace. people post them for sale occasionally for less than $1000.
Thanks

I don’t have the exact length but it fits perfectly in the access cab bed

I’d just email them and ask if you can buy two replacements!

Where did you get that tailgate from? I need it!!!!
It’s made by mountain hatch

Same mods
It’s just gaps right? The decked box can’t slide around?
Double cab owners houlk wnat to use rhe full size set (legacy version) for thr f250. Many using this version including mysekf in my double cab.
Awesome. How much modification is required to make it work so people know
I’m gonna second that question 😂. How much modification?
who makes that bed rack.
No idea
Congrats you’ve made an SUV with extra steps.
I’m not sure what that means.
@@brakeforsnakes its a snarky comment from a AC owner toward a DC owner. Dont listen to him, its suppressed jealousy. 😊

Can you confirm anything details for a 2006 Double cab?
@@timeis420tthere is not a bolt in option for the DC currently. Someone commented on this video saying a frontier one was a close fit I think.
Thanks for the quick response yes i saw that didn’t know if decked would be willing to comment on that.
