  • Some basic tools used to quickly and easily test the integrity of the DPF pressure sensor. No wiring diagrams or tech info needed for quick confirmation of the sensor fault, just an understanding of how a 3 wire sensor works.
I would like to say thank you to anyone who watches my videos and sincerely hope they help you in some way.

Thank you very much for doing this video!
This might have made me fix my own P2453 and P2452 codes on my 2013 Swift 1.3 ddis. I think i have an faulty sensor, but will have to double check. My car has got 110 000 km (68000 miles something). Is there any way of manually doing a DPF regen, or do you have to have the tools and software of a workshop? Would staying above 3500 rpm's at speed do anything, or just a serious risk of doing more damage than good? I used to do short trips before (less than 15 min), but the last year or so Ive been driving at highway speeds for about 20-30 min each trip i do. Figure the DPF would have been cleaned/burned all the gunk off?

Frequent grey smoke from exhaust, coinciding with fans running.
No dpf warning or engine management lights on dash.
Appears to be regenerating, wondering what to check.
Get a buzzing/ farting noise from rear of engine, when engine is turned off.
    Any ideas what to check.

Should you get a pressure reading from both pressure pipes going to the dpf? As I'm only getting a reading from one pipe, the other isn't showing anyyhing even when revved

No, lower outlet is after DPF, pressure there would indicate an exhaust blockage

hello, any of you who own this car model have had to deal with a kind of sucking noise only when the engine is cold? the noise is generated when the gas pedal is released and the sound is similar to a very fast creaking, it when the engine is cold and when the dpf regenerates. once the car is hot or the regeneration finishes, it no longer does so. does anyone have this problem?
