@@christatarian2504 no doubt Chris. Much love and much respect. I can't wait to see where your podcasting/youtube journey takes you as the FGC grows. I relate a lot to your perspectives and opinions on our community and love that you are growing as a content creator & as a professional fighting game player.
Definitely feels like that whole run with Bandits was like going into the hyperbolic time chamber for you. Wish I were as passionate about fighting games back in my teens/early 20's and would've developed the craft into a profession. Now I just enjoy the time with my boys and deliver the bussass. 😏💪🗽. Hearing both your and Mena's testimony is genuinely inspiring.
I remember, when I was a young, there was never a question about God's presence in my life. But in my 20s, I started to question and doubt everything about the faith. I'm in my early 30s now, and I feel like I'm slowly finding my way back to Him. This video and the one you did a while back about pride are part of that.
Keep doing what you're doing! God Bless!

I am not religious by any means, but the last section about being humble and knowing it is not just all you, hits hard. Regardless of whatever walk of life, it is important that we have a strong foundation (and in that discussion god) and knowing that there is something/someone we can fall back on. The statement of the higher you go the harder the fall, unless you keep your foot on the ground is tremendously inspirational.

This episode is something i needed as an aspiring competitor. Hearing the fact that the capcom cup champion also goes through the anxiety and the nerves that i go through in my brackets but still does his best to just play felt eye opening. Definitely my favorite interview yet. I firmly appreciate you both taking the opportunity to share your faith. When you both thanked God at Street Fighter League, I was so happy to see such great success from men leaning on God. I've been around Esports a long time now, and it really feels like faith in God is shunned by so many within. I wish the best for those people, to experience the goodness and grace of God. God's not going to make every player a world champion, but He will always be the best decision you can make to lean on for the rest of your life. God bless you both, thank you.

Hearing this champion speak is one of the greatest things ever. Just hearing what he went through and continued to battle just hits home to me. But when he said “not having god in his life is trash” It took me back to a time when I myself felt I can go it alone or asked a ton of questions to question him. Now while not perfect my faith is stronger. I owe it all to him my family, abilities etc. All while still being worked on. Great interview 🤘💯🫡

I've been an atheist for the past 15 years. I don't really deal with doubts at this point, I feel like my goal in life is seeking happiness and helping out who I can, I'm peaceful and happy that way. I did learn to respect and cherish Christians and Christian values after some time, though.
Even though I don't share the beliefs, I think the values are still a good recipe to a happy and fulfilling life, and I feel the love from genuine Christians. So the god talk doesn't bother me. I'm happy it helped you guys and I hope it helps some viewer who is currently in a dark place.

In Major League Baseball, there's approx 30% latin players currently in the league & the Dominican Republic is the majority of that percentage. Unfortunately, there's so many stories of DR players going back home to visit friends & family, just to get kidnapped for ransom or robbed. David Ortiz most recently, was shot & survived while visiting DR. Although the states ain't perfect, it puts in perspective how made we have it here in the US. There's no denying how godlike the DR is at the game of baseball & it's awesome to see more talent representation now in the fgc.

Cool podcast! Big fan so far… but I can see how some would rather not watch because the mention of Christian/catholic god. I personally am atheist and it just seems like a very subjective/opinionated thing to talk about in the FGC. Especially when you refer to the trolls to just “find christ”. Idk. Leaves a sour taste in my mouth, listening. As a fellow educator I can respect all faith and religions equally. But perhaps it can be delivered better. Just my 2 cents is all. Much love and respect to your project Chris.
Meba’s speech about being a good example is 💯

I totally understand, sometimes in life, certain things are said bluntly in order for the message to be conveyed… but I can understand how that could make you feel, our intentions as mentioned in the episode is to not persuade or force anyone to believe in God, but simply to talk about our experiences with God. The majority of the podcast is designed without the mention of God, if someone I interview is also a believer I feel it’s important to share our commonalities and express our experiences with God. Also considering Mena and I had a miraculous experience during SFL and this year with our journey, we couldn’t go without diving into it. I still appreciate the ears and hope that you were able to walk away with more technical lessons about competing and the game! Thanks for your time boss

Stuff like this is what the fgc needs in terms of content creation. Not another jack me off video like "How I made number one with this character"
    Real authentic shit.
This has inspired me as a player to really take it to the next level and not feel bad about loving these games and being competitive.
