  • The 2019 Nissan Qashqai remains among the class leaders when it comes to compact crossovers. But with all of the controversy over diesel engines since the VW emissions scandal erupted in 2015, should you still be buying it in dCi guise? Chris Knapman sets out to answer precisely that question in this CarGurus review.

Diesel is best for towing and fuel economy. I'll stick with my diesel.

Clever move by Nissan press office for the test car - take a top-spec Tekna model and fit it with 17 inch wheels so it rides well. Don't even think that combination is available to buy! I have a 1.5 dCi qashqai which is not a bad engine, but will be going for petrol auto next time - it's smoother and I don't do enough mileage to justify a diesel.

The 1.6 DCI R9M engine is better!

i need a comparison between 1.6 dci motor with xtronic(cvt) transmission combination and the upgraded 1.5 dci (115) with dct transmisson combination by a long term users.
in UK , does nissan also leave 1.6 dci and xtronic for XTrail in 2019?
