- The Nissan Qashqai is one of the most if not the most popular compact crossover SUVs produced, by the Japanese car manufacturer Nissan. For the first generation in 2006, the Qashqai was sold under the name Nissan Dualis in Japan and Australia. Now in its third generation, which was released in 2018, the new model is only badged as Qashqai, except in the United States where it is rebadged as the Nissan Rogue Sport.
The original Qashqai replaced the off-road capable body-on-frame Mistral/Terrano as Nissan's SUV offering, and its P32L automobile platform will be also used by other forthcoming Nissan crossover SUVs. Nissan named the Qashqai after the Qashqa,i an indiginous tribe living in the mountainous of Southwestern Iran. Qashqai means "A horse with a white forehead" when translated literally.

From the tons of reviews I have seen on the Qashqai, this is the most detailed one... Thank you!!
Most kind comment many thanks
2024 and Nissan still make the (all new) Qashqai. I have the 1.3 Dig-T N-Connecta and I love it! 😊
I love that car , Its my dream car
The Qashqai just looks so good
Still making them in 2021... love my 2018 SL
Great review.
You copped the bullshit about these new petrol engines being nearly as economical as diesel.
I drive a 1.5 diesel Qashqai which has great torque & returns 55 + mpg regularly.
Fantastic reliable car as a diesel.
Hi im looking at qashqai would you reccomend it
I like the qashqai it’s very easy to drive has all the gadgets I need and the seats are well comfy ,if I want power ,speed and excitement,I jump on my 1000 cc motorcycle
hi , good review i would say but i am a bit confused with the volume of the boot\trunk. in some forums it is mentioned to be 430 liters and in some ~400 as you mentioned. i would appreciate it if you could clarify what is it after all, is it related to the floor dividers or something..
Thanks for the comment. When we get the car to review they give us a data sheet that comes with the car I would have referred to the data sheet given to me by the manufacturer so if it said 400 L that’s exactly what i would have to say.
The boot is 430 litres as per nissans specs on their webpage (it might be due to the floor dividers as you said)
I think car manufacturers giving false fuel figures should be sued as a lot of people buy cars on the fuel economy giving false fuel figures is no different from the manufacturers that gave false emissions figures.
Mine does 42 to the gallon round town and it the 1.3 160 auto!
Great reviews
Thanks for your comment
@@AJThePlayerRUclipsChannel it was the best review I seen in ages mate and ur funny to really enjoy I will be subscribing mate and get my new qashqai next week can't wait
Top man cheers for your comments
Thanks for the comment really appreciated
At 6.23 the inconvenient high sill suddenly became a convenient seat
Hi ! I have to make a choice between qashqai 1.3l petrol and toyota chr 1.2 l turbo petrol (no kids, just me and my partner). What's your recommandation ? Thanks
I like both cars but suggest you take a test drive in each. I would favour the CHR but that a personal opinion
I have drove both, l now own a qashqai 1.3 turbo 160 bhp auto.
Awsome car great to drive, unlike the chr that is slow and not a nice car at all.
Drive them both and you will choose the qashqai as it drives fantastic manual or auto.
The auto is phenomenal.
Hanbury Manor ?
Here in CANADA........looks like we are getting the 2019 model as a 2020 model....... !!
What happens after that for future models....??
It’s alway an interesting market in Canada. I don’t think manufacturers can Make their mind up if it’s an American market or a European market hence why you always end up with something different. Thanks very much for your comment
I get my new Quashqai on 17th September. I’m getting the acenta premium 1.3 t. It’s cheap and cheerful I know but for the money it seemed like a one safe bet. My dads had a couple and I enjoyed driving it (rather than my fiesta) so I thought why not. Anyroad, thanks for the lighthearted review, much better than that plant pot off carwow. 😄👍
Plant Pot, that cracked me up...Thanks for the comment always appreciated
i'm getting the same model and engine as you but with the 160hp, due on the 30th september, what colour have you chosen ( mine will be the magnetic red )
@@AJThePlayerRUclipsChannel the qashqai isnt ending this year because they've just announced the 2021 facelift version
Fatboy Dave mines the electric blue. I’m not sure if I’ve made a mistake tbh 🤔
@@prestonnevlogs1462 I actually like that colour, but got the magnetic red because my wife wanted it, ( no I'm not under the thumb lol )
Best review I’ve seen. I’m buzzin that you take the piss out of the odd idiot. Nice work Batman ! 😄👍
Great review, so whats gonna replace this vehicle in 2020, with some much competition out their, they are not gonna leave the market --- Long live parcel shelves
No idea as yet but as soon as we hear will definitely let everyone know. Parcel shelves suck 😂
AJ The Player it’s 2020 and the model is still being produced as a 2020!
I've got the 2020 1.3 auto 160bhp, I get 38mpg around town and 50 plus on a long run. I'm loving it.
it is super reliable and the spear parts cheap
A good honest review but!You need to get your facts right.
The 160 BHP petrol auto engine is a 1300 not a 1600cc engine. Research Research Research.
comment appreciated
160bhp engine is a 1.3,same engine as 140bhp.1.6.was discontinued
Thanks for the comment
1.3 the same engine as used in Mercedes 👍🏼
If only you were more restrained in your gestures and body vibrations. Also, it would be a great idea if you checked the car before the camera rolled.
he's decided before the review that he does'nt like a qashqai, for me its a great car, each to they're own i guess
The stated fuel economy is achievable, he is looking at the wrong trip display, trip 2 shows each individual journey so yes "way". As someone who does car reviews and has had one in his family for 9 years....thought he might have known that.....hmmmn!
Shut up you smug twat ! Mmmmmm!
Same here. Sounds like he didnt do any research if he didnt know about hiding the parcel shelf under the trunk floor. Lame
I was more interested in what golf course it was.
Hanbury Manor Hertfordshire
Bloody nice shadows on the car🙈😂
Took hours to get that camera angle🤔
To bad the interior didnt't kept up with the exterior. It is way to outdated on the inside, and many of the features they given to the new Qashqai, should have been introduced 2-3 years ago already.
Not even the last MY of the old Qashqai offered any special things. Actually, they removed some features instead. Like the Blind Spot Warning, Adaptive Cruise and Steering Assist. Even on the highest trim level Tekna.
The English designed a car for the short people in UK 😆 I wonder what the Dutch is eating to be so tall
I'd rather have the shelf on so the scallywags can't see whats worth nicking
I bought one I regret it for rest of my life, I place the order for 5008 wish me luck with that
5008 is brilliant car you will be delighted
@@AJThePlayerRUclipsChannel Ah thanks for your reply I was praying to have better experience with 5008 over qashqai I've peace of mind now after spending over 37k for 5008
I'll pay u 50 if u deliver it to my house and give it me
@@sameerishaque7635 HAHAHAHA For sure!
What was the problems.
