  • In this video, we'll be comparing the Ryzen 7 7800X3D to its predecessors, the 5800X3D, and the i9-13900K, in both gaming and non-gaming applications.
With more cores, higher clock speeds, and better thermal management, it's no surprise that the Ryzen 7 7800X3D outperforms the 5800X3D in almost every way. But what's truly impressive is how it stacks up against the i9-13900K in certain games.
And here's the best part: thanks to its power efficiency, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D can be paired with AMD's cheapest motherboards, making it an incredible value for anyone looking to upgrade their gaming setup.

The 7800X3D is a pretty good CPU, but one thing you missed is that it has the same number of cores (8 cores) and threads as the last gen 5800X3D. The clock speeds aren’t substantially higher, most of the actual improvement comes from the newer CPU architecture. It’s also not much faster than the 13900K or KS, as they both trade blows in different applications. For games the 7800X3D is faster ever so slightly, but in multi core tests the 13900K is much better because it has 24 cores.

It beats Intel in every game when you apply realistic PL1 and PL2 power limits. There is NO competition. Intel loses hands down in every aspect. Until Intel comes up with a new architecture, the argument is over and done.

If you want both good gaming and multicore performance for little money, the 13600K is good. But for just gaming the 7800x3D makes sense
For different uses different CPUs make sense

@@otozinclus3593 the 7800x3d is way better in gaming and is still pretty even in multicore performance. Less power consumption/heat too

Cant wait for there 8000 and 9000 series they allready got leaked and if what they are saying is near to what we will get it will be 1.5x more powerfull then the 13900k i think AMD is catching up they been lackin on there cpu im not including the threadripper in this since the 5995w is allready the most powerful cpu out there and the reason i dont count it is becouse it under performs in gaming since its not built for games but as a workstation its a monster
Also for those who will start saying im dumb the ryzen 7950x is equal to the i9 13900k my answer to that is no no it's not its similar to a 13700
