- Опубликовано: 6 фев 2025
- In this video, we'll be comparing the Ryzen 7 7800X3D to its predecessors, the 5800X3D, and the i9-13900K, in both gaming and non-gaming applications.
With more cores, higher clock speeds, and better thermal management, it's no surprise that the Ryzen 7 7800X3D outperforms the 5800X3D in almost every way. But what's truly impressive is how it stacks up against the i9-13900K in certain games.
And here's the best part: thanks to its power efficiency, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D can be paired with AMD's cheapest motherboards, making it an incredible value for anyone looking to upgrade their gaming setup.

Lmao both 8 core 16thread
just more speed and modern cores
IKR?! WTF
was just about to type that at lest your not the only one that got it. IPC is stronger on the 783D vs 583D & it's new KEKW it should be faster.
The 7800x3d is about 15% faster than the 5800x3d in gaming with the 1% lows fellas. Hope that saved someone valuable time.
In some games there is a fking massive difference i m a high refreshrate player do i need much fps at 1080p
Automatically lost me at "has more core and more threads"
Same. I was very confused.
Tell me you didn't do your 5 minutes of homework without telling me you didn't. Both the 5800X3D and 7800X3D are 8 core/16 thread CPUs with the only difference that 5800X3D boosting up to 4.5 GHz on 7 nm while the 7800X3D boosting up to 5 GHz on 5 nm. Also literally no one missed this CPU, it's the best value gaming CPU on the market.
"It has more cores and threads" ... 8/16 doesn't equal 8/16?
To be fair, he did say we weren't gonna believe this one.
::DDD
It does not have more cores and threads
7800x3d doesn't have more cores/threads than 5800x3d. Both are 8core/16 thread cpus.
And also only 15% performance increase
@@parveensultana6809 its game dependent. some games 7800 gapes 5800 by large margin, some game it doesn't.

Well in productivity it does get dumpstered by a large margin, even by the i5 in most scenarios.
If you play games 90% (i do, which is why i bought it) of the time on the pc you're building then sure it makes sense.
If not? Just buy the i7 as the perfect all rounder.
@@samueleinzaghi8964 lol no. If you want productivity you would go with a 12 core 7900 or better. Not a 7800x3D. I7 won't be outperforming ryzen 9 anytime soon. User Benchmark asked you to write this ?
@@DragonOfTheMortalKombat first. Where did i recommend the x3d chip for productivity? I said the exact opposite.
A 7900x is not faster than a 13700k and costs more, that's a bad (and wrong) take.
@@samueleinzaghi8964 when did I mention 7900x ? It's smaller cousin 7900 costs less and comes with a powerful stock cooler with heat pipes.
@@samueleinzaghi8964 It is platform longevity, cache, and thermal output that convinced me. I went from a 10700kf to a 7800x3D. My gaming experience is practically stutter free, especially in VR. And I find 8c/16t good enough for most of my productivity cases (Unity, video editing, etc).
You literally only had to do 1 minute of research to give some accurate information and yet you failed. Bringing tiktok into youtube was a huge mistake
Yeah this cpu at full tilt won't even reach 200 watts where as the 13900k I've seen that cpu at over 400 watts maxed out. That's alot of performance but also alot of heat and power usage.
200w? 7800x3d is quite sensitive than the X variant. Amd locked the cpu overvolting so the absolute maximum power draw is 120w
13900K can offer 90% of that performance at just 240-250W I dunno why anyone would need boost clocks at max usage it's stupid. 5.4/4.2 is the sweetspot
@mythbuster4315, ez lock PL2 at a decent value and enjoy gaming at pretty much the same fps as any 3d chip.
Then enjoy your vastly superior performance in anything else that isn't gaming.
Profit?
Ah, this is coming from someone who owns the 7800x3d. I like it because i mostly game on that rig, but if you only have one pc that needs to do everything intel is the way to go for sure. 13th gen is pretty compelling.

The 7800x3d will be my next cpu when I upgrade to AM5. For now though, my 5700x is plenty for my use case

@@the_real_creewe5135 really really not worth dude. Just wait at least for the next gen otherwise the price to performance chart for you will look terrible.
@@Ya-Be thats what Im thinking about…i recently upgraded from 3080 z gaming trio to 4070 ti mainly cause dlss3 and start playing Dying light 2 with everything on max on 130fps +-. Then i saw some benchmark with same settings but with 200 fps. So, i think it is fake and start some conversation with creator. He told me, that i ll get same performance, which will be 70 fps when i upgraded to same hw, that he owns, which is am5 socket motherboard, 64 kit ddr 5 6000mhz and 7800x3d.
1. Yes I has a significant performance uplift(avg like 22% over the 5800x3d) But that's because of more 3D cache, higher clock speeds a better architecture and better ram. Same Cores and threads here.
3. AMD doesn't directly sell motherboards. Also you can put every am5 CPU on every am5 motherboard. More expensive Mainboards offer more ram capabilities, faster SSD speeds or better GPU support.
No one missed it bro. Every gamer knows it’s the best chip on the market….that’s why we bought it
7800x3d are fastest cpu for gaming on world and dont say it even beats 13900k in some games ,it beats 14900k/ks in 90% of games

80watt vs 280watt for the 13900k. Its crazy.
To reach full performance 13900K actually sucks a bit more power
@@otozinclus3593 that's exactly what they said 🤦♂️
7800x3d really really suck at some games really really shine at some, whereas 13900k is even throughout.
Looking at the difference between the 7700x and the 13900K (which is not all that big) and that even in games which dont profit as much from cache, the 7800x3D still manages beat the 7700x by quite a lot:
The variation is not as strong as you think and for sure not "suck"

And it will keep your water cooling loop ALOT cooler than 13900k 🤯 I mean like up to 20 degree Celsius on cpu cooler!!
Meaning more performance from gpu! But 5800x3d still amazing price to performance at 320€ ❤️ and for 4k you don’t need more cpu power technically - but runs hotter abit (equal performance to 13600k i5)
Ur saying you have a custom water loop that goes from cpu water block to gpu water block and overclock your gpu?
@@kodakblack531 yeah with such low wattage cpu as 7800x3d and than 4070ti (5-7% better than 3090 performance in all games, but at 230w instead of 350w), both could easily be on same cooling loop in series on a single 280mm radiator)
This is mainly for small mini itx builds in like 10-14L cases 👍

Something that I still like with Intel, started with 12th Gen is hybrid core that has unique technics that I personally like
Especially when multitasking
do you even know what you're saying? it's the same cores and threads.
More cores and threads ???
Yeah they might be a bit tarded.
Word for word stop coping
The 7800X3D is a pretty good CPU, but one thing you missed is that it has the same number of cores (8 cores) and threads as the last gen 5800X3D. The clock speeds aren’t substantially higher, most of the actual improvement comes from the newer CPU architecture. It’s also not much faster than the 13900K or KS, as they both trade blows in different applications. For games the 7800X3D is faster ever so slightly, but in multi core tests the 13900K is much better because it has 24 cores.
5800X3D and 7800X3D are on the same tier.. 800.., both 8 core, 16 threads. The difference is generation, better IPC in newer generations
Thank you for the post
Bro sais that it "sometimes beat the i9 13900k" whilst the r7 7800x3d shits on the i9 14900k
This guy breaks math with his iq. Albert einstein did not die for someone to say 8/16 doesn’t equal 8/16(he said 7800x3d has more cores/threads🎅)

The 7800x 3d doesn’t have more cores then the 5800x 3d 😂
last i checked the 7800x3d and the 5800x3d both have 8c16t
It beats Intel in every game when you apply realistic PL1 and PL2 power limits. There is NO competition. Intel loses hands down in every aspect. Until Intel comes up with a new architecture, the argument is over and done.
Cool... now where's the price to performance of switching to a different platform
Im glad more people knew about the stats....i started 2nd guessing myself
Tks dude. Wich app do you use for captions?
7800X3D and 5800X3D has the same amount of cores and threads, which is 8 cores and 16 threads... wtf lol
I think it’s also has more L3 cache than 5800x3d which affects gaming performance
It doesn't. Both the 5800X3D and 7800X3D has 96 MB L3 cache.

More cores? That's a fast way to lose any credibility.
Cant wait for there 8000 and 9000 series they allready got leaked and if what they are saying is near to what we will get it will be 1.5x more powerfull then the 13900k i think AMD is catching up they been lackin on there cpu im not including the threadripper in this since the 5995w is allready the most powerful cpu out there and the reason i dont count it is becouse it under performs in gaming since its not built for games but as a workstation its a monster
Also for those who will start saying im dumb the ryzen 7950x is equal to the i9 13900k my answer to that is no no it's not its similar to a 13700
