Off topic I’m staying on 118th in central Harlem with my family … what’s the feel? Is it safe ?
As a mexican living in México, im very lucky cause I can have these plates for a low price and fresh ingredients.
Good for you 👍. Someone give this man a parade
Lmao. Like I'm eating frozen dry cilantro and a juiceless lemon here. Can't fight you on the price though.
@Jaidee Sasaki well I mean, we have more organic products. Of course, in EEUU, you can get too, but sometimes it is more difficult.
We have everything here,we even have the same mexican people making them, the only difference is price.
@@gusrodriguez7201 no it’s not even close to being the same I’m Mexican and I frequently go to Mexico , the taste is much better in Mexico I can confirm that
The quesabirria taco was born in Tijuana, Baja California. I am always amazed how it has spread throuough the United States. Beef Birria from TJ is completely different than the birria (goat or lamb) from the "interior" Jalisco, Guanajuato, Hidalgo etc.
Excellent point!
I have never tried a Tijuana Style birria, but know a good place for it near Taxqueña Ave. in Mexico City. Will try.
Veal birria is my favorite.
What's the difference?
@@engr138 the meat it gives a different taste
Wowww México, México, México, beautiful, history, food, places, and more.
man the part where you were showing the nice lady cook at quesadillas and she gave you a thumbs up for some reason made me tear up. our people are so hard working, humble and loving. so proud to be Mexican🇲🇽
I love to work with Mexicans. They're usually always in a good mood and very cooperative and cohesive at work. Very much team players. Gotta love them!
Nigga cried over a thumbs up
Arriba Mexico 🇲🇽 paisano vino a trunfar dios los bendiga
Que gusto da como mexicano que la comida mexicana está en cada rincón del mundo y la degustan etc
Eating Mexican food is an exhilarating journey for the senses, a tantalizing adventure that ignites a symphony of flavors and textures that leave one's taste buds dancing in delight. Imagine sinking your teeth into a perfectly crafted taco, the crunch of the fresh tortilla giving way to the succulent, seasoned meats, complemented by zesty salsas and vibrant toppings that explode with freshness and spice. The aromatic blend of herbs, the earthy warmth of spices like cumin and chili powder, and the subtle smokiness of grilled meats create an orchestra of tastes that transport you to the bustling markets and vibrant streets of Mexico. From the creamy richness of guacamole to the smoldering heat of salsa verde, each bite offers an explosion of flavors-citrusy, savory, tangy, and spicy-that evoke a sense of culinary euphoria. The sheer variety, from sizzling fajitas to the complex layers of flavors in a well-crafted mole, ensures an endless array of tastes to discover and relish, making the experience of Mexican cuisine a mouth-watering, unforgettable adventure for any food enthusiast. Nice video, Here Be Barr!
Anytime you and Greg get together. It becomes an Instant Classic!
I agree You guys make a good team
Oh my god I don’t know how I’ve been in the city so many times without hearing about these taco recs!! I’m definitely going 😅🙏🏽
Please do!
probably bc you don't actually know nyc
Girl ! You're missing out😂 try it before tourists come 🤫
I love Birria-Landia. That cemita looks wonderful also. There's surprisingly a very good Mexican cart across from Bellevue Hospital of all places. Usually go there for their outstanding quesadillas and just about everyone orders in Spanish.
Jackson Heights is home, so great to see you here
Los Tacos numero 1 = perfection
Was in Los Tacos No.1 during a recent visit from the UK. Ridiculously good.
I’m planning a birthday trip to New York for my 13 yr old son this summer 2023 so all your videos are definitely helping me plan our trip out what to do and what not to do. Thank you so much for all your videos! We’re definitely going to have to find all these food trucks!!!
Si eres mexicana no tiene caso ir a estos food trucks
this is not a tourist attraction neighborhood lol. but hey at least you wont get scammed like in manhattan welcome to queens.
Thank you for showing us love, you good on this side🇲🇽
Check out the barbacoa here in Brownsville, Texas. They cook it underground. Birria tacos are good here as well!
Being from Southern Cali seeing this makes me realize how blessed I am 💯 #Noplacelikecali
I love tacos de birria! Definitely trying those tacos when I visit NYC! Hablas muy bien el español! 😃👏
Pero para qué quieres probar comida mexicana en Nueva York?
3 bucks for that set of taco birria + consomme', in New York? That's a steal!
Mmm, maybe each taco.
Viva México 😍🇲🇽❤️
It's really cool to see people from another part of the world enjoying a part of our culture... In Mexico we think of birria as a hungover cure, can't miss it every sunday. I feel we can really get to know each other a little bit by just sharing these amazing things: like food, songs, drinks, etc. Good to see. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for highlighting one of my favorite NYC areas!
It's the best.
I love the Spanish language very calming
Without a doubt, Birria-Landia is everything🧡! I finally got to try them last week on my holiday trip to NY. The pickled onions and hot sauce 😋. Thank you! Everything you recommend is absolutely delicious! my trips to NY have been amazing with you as my travel buddy via RUclips 🗽
Your Spanish in Italki was fun 🤣
Soy originario y vivo en Puebla de donde surgió la semita, la verdad es que se ven de buen nivel las de Tía Julia a pesar de estar a miles de km de la ciudad de origen, solamente que aquí cuestan unos MX $50.
Saludos, excelente reportaje
Proud to be Mexican, we have the best food in the world and the best people too.
Wooow!! That's my dream place!! Mexican food trucks!!
That Cemita is mouth watering. I need to try this
I'm from SoCal and we know about good mexican food. when I visited NYC I refused to eat any Mexican food while I was there. Glad the locals have a spot they enjoy
Cali will always have the best Mexican food period
You misses the best Mexican food in 🇺🇸 ❤️ NY
that's closed minded lol. The guys who run this truck are from Mexico and they actually got the idea from being in California and seeing how popular this kind of taco was over there.
NYC Mexicans in the future will diffinitely outshine Cali Mexicans just for being from NYC
Jon. “I’ve never tried this before”
Takes gigantic bite 😂❤
Great video, did a food tour with Greg (thanks to a recommendation from your channel) and it was tremendous can’t recommend enough. Happy new year to you both!
That looks absolutely authentic (and tasty)! Just like you would find in any mexican street or restaurant! Nice video!
man yours have quickly become my favorite "foodie" videos on YT, love the vibe, the music, the shots, you and your guests. It's not easy and you're nailing it
Oh my god! Those are like any street taco here in Mexico City! I can’t beleive they’re in NYC ❤ delicious 🌮
Edit: “Cafe de olla” does have cinnamon but also “piloncillo”. Something I never saw over there when I lived in CT.
Wow, didn't realize Birria Landia was that recognized. Went there yesterday, turns out there's no line if it's on a raining weekday lol
they have 3 trucks now
Talk about eating good in the neighborhood! What a feast, so envious. Well done Jon.
Just got onto your videos 2 days ago , non stop watching . New subscriber bro , great content
Welcome aboard!
The birria de res tacos (red tacos), consomé and quesabirria have their origin in Tijuana Mx. 🇲🇽
Best place to pick up ladies 😂😂😂 italki
Had such a great time eating at some of the best spots in Jackson Heights with you! Craving it all over again
Legend!

Las quesadillas is my favorite of all, I love the food from there!
Beautiful video, guys. And the background jazz is great.

I have to say... that was a good way to promote the sponsor
¡Excelente! Me encanta la birria, sobre todo las quesabirrias 😌👌
I can’t wait to try this in the summer ..❤
We had these tacos last September on a trip to New York and I must say they were seriously delicious
OMG! Looks so good!
Love this !!! Jackson heights , Elmhurst, Corona , flushing Queens are some gems 💎 for great food .
Great video. I’m hungry after watching the best Mexican food in NY. It was the best thing about living in Jackson Heights!
Those mini pancakes look amazing!
Hey, Jon! Everything looks so delcious!!! Have you tried the "milanesa monstruo" sandwich in Buenos Aires?🤩
¡Me encanta tu español ! ¡Les mando un abrazo para vos y tu hermosa familia desde La Plata, Argentina!
No lo probe! Gracias :)
ALL THE FOOD REALLY LOOKS SO DELICIOUS. THANKS FOR SHARING, KEEP UP THE AWESOME JOB 😁👏🏽👏🏽
Love these locations I need to try a couple of them. And Birrialandia is amazing.
Definitely worth heading out to queens for these tacos!! Birrialandia is incredible!! All of Jackson heights has great food variety and so fun to check out.
They have two other trucks as well, one in the LES and the other in Williamsburg
Sittin here drooling! Thanks Jon, great video.

Great Collab. Thanks for showing us all that delicious looking Mexican food. I traveled and studied Spanish in Mexico 40 yrs ago .What part is your wife from?
San Luis Potosi!
@@HereBeBarr hahahahaha, It's always funny to know that there are people from my state on the internet
Tell my compatriot that we send greetings hahahahaha
Watching this while eating a meal is a must!
Looks Delicious!
Mexican here. It looks delish. 👌🏻
Now I’m craving tacos so bad 😍🤤
Everything looks so delicious. 🤤
Very delicious food! Hope you will do more videos of Staten Island Soon
I wasn’t aware New York had these many Mexican food options. Will be trying them this summer
Mejor ve a México a probar esa comida
It's a large city so just by sheer size it's gonna have a lot of everything. But weirdly enough, it's been white transplants that have made Mexican food somewhat popular. it's still far behind other Latin American cuisines (imo) like Puerto Rican, Dominican, Colombian and Peruvian.
@@MelGibsonFan It's easier to find Mexican food than Puerto Rican food these days. Walk around Bushwick and there will be a shitton of taco trucks and taquerias.
I think Mexicans will be the dominant Latino population in NYC within a couple generations.
yeah it's gotten very big in recent years. Part of it is because of the growing Mexican population (which is pretty big now), the other part is that New Yorkers in general are becoming more interested in Mexican food.
@@grahamperry3773 Makes sense, I practically grew up in Bushwick (technically Ridgewood) and I could count on both hands how many Mexicans I knew. I’m splitting hairs here but technically I think the Central Americans in general will probably boom to become the largest Hispanic population (if Long Island trends follow for the city too). Mexico isn’t really as unstable as it was in the 80’s to 00’s when the height of Mexican immigration was occurring.
Those sandwiches looked incredibly good wow
Hallelujah! i can't wait to taste it
This is a great video!! 👏👍
Oh my gosh the food is absolutely delicious looking 😍 I would want to order one of everything from all food trucks 😂 yum
Good video ,I've been there in those 3 places pretty delicious 😋
That food looks so good. Why do I watch food channels on an empty stomach?! 😂
It's torture huh
that broth it's everything! i mean the consomé! it's a life comebacker!
Birria going nationwide. I remember my first Birria taco in Houston, about 6 years ago, from a Taco Truck. Best taco ever, lol
My next trip to NYC Jon can be a good way to compare and contrast the Mexican food in NYC to the Mexican food in Chicago !
Hey Be Barr, thank you for show the world how good are food is! And there’s not just Beans, chiles and tortillas lol, oh and we said Buen Provecho! Before start eating or to when someone is eating as a respect! Thank you again!!
I think that was pretty ingenious using a takoyaki pan for the mini pancakes. Nice video!
Need to catch-up with all those infos you're feeding us, especially w/ food. We'll definitely try those when we get back there sooner.
Your videos make me want to move to New York, despite it being a huge mess there right now 😅
I live near birria-landia's Williamsburg truck and it's genuinely hard not to have it way too much. So good. Also Bodega Truck parks next to them on Sundays. They're both such great trucks
Thanks for sharing!
Have you tasted Esquites? It's sooo tasty 😋❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yasss got the right answered of nyc food !!! 😂😂😂❤
I need to try it
I'm glad to have a birrialand here in Houston st
There is a birria taco truck in Fresh Meadows Queens called Moho Mexican! I highly recommend the birria pizza!!! It’s like one huge birria taco cut in slices with consume. It’s so good! I wish I still lived in Fresh Meadows so I can go there again! It’s right on 188th/Horace Harding at the plaza.
This video!! 🔥🔥🔥
That is some seriously beautiful video on my big screen. Did you recently upgrade equipment? - The colors really pop. Looks delicious!
Ben upgraded his camera!
Always love your videos, following for a while! Thanks! Maybe some vegan options in the city?
That cemita looks so delicious
That sandwich was huge, I think I could eat 3 times off of it! Everything looked delish, as always 😊
Thank you 😋
That sandwich was huge, I think I could eat 3 of them!
birria is originally eaten as a broth meat is only goat (not beef) and you can also order it in the form of Tacos but this birria that is presented in this video is the Tijuana style... and in the last two years birria from Tijuana is the one that is popular right now here In the United States, in Mexico, the birria in each state of Mexico is different, it has a different style, but the style of Tijuana( only beef) is what prevails right now and it is a very good birria
Uff en tiempo de frío por las mañanas para entrar en calor o después de una peda para bajar el avión lo mejor!!
great looking food
The birria craze came from Mexico to San Antonio, Texas a few years back. The same consume they use for those tacos is used in a Cup of Ramen, which is pretty good.
Welcome to Queens!
Se me hace agua la boca, se ven deliciosos.
Most DEFINITELY will be going the next time I’m in NYC
