Bro, that intro 😂
Hahaha thanks
He won a huge LIKE
🔥Absolute Cinema🔥🖐
I returned my 13inch for the 11inch. The only things the 13 offered for me was obviously the screen realestate and better speakers (not by much). That’s it. Absolutely couldn’t stand the 4x3 aspect ratio , when zoomed in it looked like I was watching content from a 1990s monitor. You actually get a better viewing experience on the 11inch as you get less black bars and zooming in full screen on some 16x9 content keeps things in title safe area.
That's a great point of view. Thanks for sharing Eddie!
Right, I wish Apple hat a iPad with 12,4 in 16:10 format like a Tab S9 Plus. I'm not an Artist and use more for multimedia.
I did the same thing
@@kurosamurai1173Same. It’d be the perfect tablet for me.
@@eddiemunoz3677 I did the same thing. 11” nano texture and I’ll wait to see if I really feel like I need the Magic Keyboard. I usually just buy it right away, but I’ll wait this time around.
The use cases explained in this video is by far the best.
Thank you!
I ended up returning 11 and getting 13 and I have no regrets. Yes, 11 is okay for notetaking (even Mini), but it is so much more convenient on 13 inch where you can rest your palm on the screen, it feels so much more natural compared to smaller screens. If you use Apple Pencil a lot 13 inch is without doubt preferable. Plus, this iteration is so light and thin
Loving my 11” iPad Air M2. Great upgrade from the iPad mini 5. It was time to upsize. I use the iPad so differently now since my college days.
And their aspect ratio is different 3 by 2 vs 4 by 3 which is less black bar for the 11" when watching content
Yes but the actual content is still going to be bigger. It's not an advantage it's just less "form fitting". Which matters why?
Great comparison video!
I had the 11 inch M2 iPad Pro and a 15 inch Macbook Air. I found myself reaching for the iPad more than the Macbook. When the M4 came out, I decided to ditch the Macbook and get the 13 inch iPad Pro and use it as my only device. Best decision ever for me. Having multiple devices don’t appeal to me, especially when they aren’t being used.
As long as you can do all your stuff on, that's awesome! I wish I could use it as my only device. Such a lovely hardware.
Hey everyone, thanks for all the great comments! Sorry about the Center Stage reference mistake.
Superb production quality! I enjoyed this video very much. Thanks.
Many thanks!
Thanks for the video. if you have an external monitor 4k. Isn't the 11" enough ? For video editing i mean.
Always mesmerising to see this production quality. Cheers mate.
Thank you for saying that!
I appreciate your comparisons!!! Thank you.
Great video. Thanks for your honest advice. I own a 16“ MacBook Pro and thought about getting the 11“ iPad. When going from desk to desk, I sadly do NOT always have multimeter screens which use HDMI neither a dock… So maybe the 13“ models seems better to chose? This drives me mad. I can’t decide. I‘ll just go with the 11 inch one as I have the 16 inch tank with me. 😅
Very useful video! What would you recommend for photo editing on travel and media consumption? My plan would be to leave the MacBook at home..
Thanks for the advice!
I do the majority of my work on my iPad Pro. I’ve always had the large size and then tried the 11 inch. When I first tried it I was absolutely blown away just by how light it was and so little annoyances ceased to exist. But then when I was having to get into serious mode and do some work with a few different windows, I knew I had to return it. IT became very frustrating, very quickly and I ran back to the 13 inch.
I understand your point of you. iPad = primary device
Very creative video with good info. 👍🏽
Appreciate it!
Ok that hands free walking shot threw me for a second 😂
i have ujst discovered your channel and i really liked your style of presenting the info and summarizing at the end, definitely will watch your previous video and will subscribe
Thank you!
Watching this on my iPad Pro 11” and it’s perfect!!❤
Awesome
Damn bro the intro made me subscribe. Lit work bro🔥🔥🔥
I am pumped to hear that 😂
Definitely happy with my 11" iPad Pro, for note taking for meetings at work and taking it on the go, along with my 16" MacBook Pro, which is pretty heavy.
After watching about 5-7 different videos on which size to get, this one has been the most helpful by far… thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for your great review
My pleasure!
Great video E, I love them😊
Glad you like them!
Very thorough! Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Loved the intro!
Thank you!
Yessss! I was hoping you’ll hop back on the 11 inches realm with the rest of us! 😂
Haha, yep yep
That intro was awesome!
Thanks! 😁
Great video. Did you end up getting the Magic Keyboard again with the 11 inch or just a Smart Folio case. I did the same returned the 13 inch iPad Pro and went to the 11 inch. It’s is nice size.
Just the Smart Cover
Great review!
Glad you enjoyed it
Totally agree!! I own I MBP14 and also have the AVP so the 11inch M4 with Apple Pencil was the best decision, especially that I travel a lot.
Nice video.
Much appreciated
What about the combo of having a smaller laptop, which one should I get?
Perfect compression TY!!! I wish you will make a 14 vs 16 inch laptop
Thank you!
Awesome video!
Thanks!
This is my first time watching your channel but I’m a video editor for a small company and immediately was super impressed by your editing and especially your graphics. It’s all so clean and precise. Would love if you could do a tutorial sometime. Keep up the great work!
This is a great review. I own the 12.9 M1 iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard (as my only personal computer) and I have my work laptop which is a 14 inch M3 MacBook Pro. I found that I barely takes my iPad Pro with me due to its size and weight. After watching this video, I decided to go for the 11 inch M3 with the magic folio, and this is so much different from my previous set up. With hands off, I can use my MacBook’s keyboard and trackpad to type on my iPad. When I am at home, I can connect my iPad to my studio display to get a larger screen size. This is awesome.
Great choice!
I recently upgraded to the 13inch M4 Pro after 6 years of the 11inch 2018 Pro and couldn’t be any happier. I downgraded from the OG 12.9inch Pro to the 11inch back in the day because I use to only bring a shoulder bag to the office but post pandemic, I now bring a laptop bag around so having a larger Pro model isn’t as taxing as it used to be.
Awesome! Congrats. Do you also carry a laptop or the iPad is your primary device?
@@ThisIsE I carry a laptop to work and the iPad as a complimentary device (got the 5G version). The weight difference between the 11 and 13 inch models is very noticeable back when I use to rock a laptop sling bag but with a full on laptop backpack? It’s barely discernible at all hence why I went back to the larger size.
This is probably the best buying guide out there.
This is a perfect breakdown, honestly.
Thank you!
Fun to watch and informative video 👌🏼 such a hard decision to make when you’re committed to getting an iPad!
I hope the video helps
we should not forget the memory also, choosing wisely which memory we should get is a big important decision also
I love your intro !
Hahahah. Thanks
I have the 11” iPad Pro 3rd gen and was looking to upgrade to the M4, but didn’t know which one to go with and since I do use a MacBook Pro, this video convinced me to stick with my tried and true 11” size iPad. I am really concerned about the top heaviness of the Magic Keyboard/iPad combo. Is it really as big of an issue as I think it is or am I paranoid?
Great comparaison
Thank you
both are great just depends on use case.
but lets talk about the wallpaper on the iPads. 🔥
Here it is: www.thisise.tech/store/p/splash-8k-wallpaper-pack
Note taking studying what do I think is better 11” or 13”. I’m getting an air tho. Because I’m not a power user.
Went with the 13 inch. Tried the 11 inch for one day and ended up returning it for the 13inch. The 13inch will offer you everything the 11inch has to offer and more given the extra real estate.
I barely ever use a computer since today’s apps cover 90% of all my needs. Using it as my main everyday device and love it
Does the 11 inch with the Magic Keyboard tip over when using it on your lap?
yes, but significantly less pain
Just decided to keep my 2020 11inch iPad Pro for now. I bought the M4 13’ iPad Pro because I been wanting bigger screen for some reason but it’s too big ,gaming is not comfortable so I returned it. I’m thinking of getting the M4 11’ iPad Pro but not sure if worth upgrading.
The intro funny as hell 😂😂😂
Hahah thanks
I’m obsessed with my new m4 11in! I came from 2020 A15 chip in 13 in size but now I have a 13 in MacBook so it felt redundant. This 11in is the sweet spot for note taking, books, drawing for fun and media consumption. I don’t need the keyboard but plan to eventually pick one up bc I love the combo. Oh and the Apple Pencil pro is amazing with the nano texture screen!
Oh, you got the nano texture?
Agree with your thoughts and I like the use case section at the end, very cool ! I think the 13” aspect ratio isn’t worth it for content consumption vs the S9 series.
Круте відео дякую)
I have the Mac book m3 13 inch but want to get an iPad to substitute paper and etc. debating on which size I should get. I take classes for the medical field which range from anatomy to Chem but I also am getting into photography and editing photos/videos. Any advice on which size I should get because im struggling and can't make up my mind.
If you plan on learning and video edit on the IPad, larger is better for sure. You can edit photos on both devices.
It’s probably better to edit photos and video on the MacBook. imo you would be served well with an iPad 10 or an Air 5. The 13 inch iPad is more for replacing your laptop than complimenting it.
Well, I can't afford either at this stage so fortunately it's not a choice I have to make, but if I did have to decide I think I'd go for the 11". I may be cash strapped at the moment but I'm still addicted to watching these sleek tech reviews.
I appreciate the feedback. I wish you an 11" soon 😊
E, excellent video and I really liked the use case examples at the end. As a lifetime 11” user, I made the leap to the 13” this time for content consumption and travel, and I do have a bit of remorse. I was not aware of the black bars!
Anyway, can you tell us which titanium band you are using for your Apple Watch? With so many choices and prices, I don’t know what to do!
Thanks for the kind words and I feel your remourse. BTW, I have the BandWerk Titanium band.
The use case section at the end helped me affirm my choice! I was debating between two use cases and fell upon using it as a portable productivity laptop replacement ie: 13” pro / Magic Keyboard/ pencil pro combo. It will do it all, although I will likely pick up the mini pro if and when it ever comes out! Take our money apple! It’s what we want!!
As a business man and an active MB Air m2 13inch user, I opted for the 11inch. This is my first iPad after the first generation iPad Air. I haven’t been using the Air at all for many years. iPadPro m4 is very different. With a beautiful screen and a lovely keyboard and blazing fast computing, its filling in the Traveling space really well. I actually can replace the MB Air without a doubt during travels. At home, when I want to work on my sofa rather than the desk, it is small and lovely. This applies to air travel, small coffee desks, while eating etc. I think 11 inch with Magic Keyboard is the sweetspot for business users (email, word, excel, safari, zoom etc.) and casual internet activities.
It’s like looking in the mirror. I also have the M2 Air and M2 Mac Mini (at work) and I use the same apps as you do along with QB Online and some E-Commercw websites of my distributions. I got the 13” but considering returning and getting 11”.
I subscribed already twice! Because… why not? 😊
Thanks!
I’ve had the larger iPad for years now and I wish I could go back in time and purchase the 11 inch. For the large screen is great, but I would gladly trade that real estate for usability.
Ok so now you helped me make up my mind. I don’t have a lap top so I get the big one until I get a lap top then I can go smaller
Sounds like a plan 👌
Where did you get that trackpad skin from!? Looks sick!
dbrand
I had the 11 inch M1… gave it to my kid and got the the new M4 13 inch… The 11 inch feels better in the hand but I’m more than enjoying the screen real estate on the bigger 13 inch
Where is the backpack in the video from?
TomToc
I had the iPad air 4 and switched to the mini 6, i started using the iPad more and more after changing to the smaller formfactor.
Amin to that
A video just in time. I have a M4 ipad pro 13" about to hit the 14 days return period. Now I know I made the right option.
you will keep it?
Will you keep it? Why not sharing with the class 😊
For my work dealing 95% with MS Office, this iPad still has its limitations e.g., simple command like format painter still does not work (or I have not figure out?), file management is a little intimidating e.g., file sometimes refused to save under same name and u end up with "copy" to the file name, if u know what I mean, and sometimes completed report files just disappear which freaks me out... however, coming from an iPad Pro 2020 and Microsoft Surface Pro, this iPad Pro is much better at accomplishing what I need to do (not without hiccups but I believe this can be overcome/learn since I am in both Apple and Windows ECO, 30:70% to be exact). Most importantly, I enjoy doing stuff on an iPad more than a window platform.
Sorry for the long winding thought process.
@@arthuslim I completely agree, I'm in the same situation. I use a Windows laptop because the software I need isn't compatible with MacBook, and iPadOS is so limited that I end up using my laptop more than my iPad (although I really want to use the iPad more)
Haha that intro got a good laugh out of me! Personally I have the 11 inch iPad but I almost wish I had gotten the 13 inch since it gives me more notetaking room (that's what I use it for). Oh well!
Do you take handwritten notes most of the time?
@@ThisIsE Yep, either on an iPad or on a physical notebook. I hate typing notes
Sound quality on 13 M4 is better, no better, the same of previous pro models ? The nano texture glass is better than glossy of my eyes? The blacks are blacks on nano? Help me please !!
Don’t even bother thinking about the nano texture. You can always put a paperlike screen protector. The 13 sounds a bit richer than the 11, not a shocking difference from the precious large model.
I’ve been trying to use ipad 12.9 as my primary device. Failed so many times, purchased macbook pro 14. After launch of ipad 13 M4 with better keyboard, I sold off MP 14. I wanted to carry one device and maximize the experience. iPad 13 is awesome but multitasking in office, opening several office apps and file management made me to buy MP 14. Thinking to buy iPad 11 and sell off 13. Dilemma. As business owner I should have both mobility and effectiveness.
MBP 14 + 11" = 👌
If you play game with hands what is the best option?
Smaller
Great comparison and analysis.
Helped me to decide.
Ended up with the M2 11 in pro to supplement my 14 in MacBook Pro.
On sale today for $300 off at BestBuy.
Fantastic
And I'm sure you've heard this before, but you look like James McAvoy. I saw him perform in a play a few years ago, and that's immediately who I thought of when I watched your video.
I've been told many times 😊
I had the 11in (M1) + Magic Keyboard + Pencil and ended selling it all. I wanted it to be my only device secondary to my work computer (acknowledging by your recommendations in this video I should then have had the 13in)…but the 11in was just too difficult to get anything done on - email, Office apps, etc. Of course, it was great for media consumption, but my iPhone works ok for that too and is essentially the same experience, just shrunken. Really what I’d like to see from you soon is a review of the Surface Pro 11, similar to what you did for the SP9. Now that the performance is much better with new Snapdragon chips, would be interesting to see your take on it. Seems like it fits that perfect form factor and now with the required performance to really be a person’s sole computing/media/notes/light drawing device. Also would be cool to see how you can integrate Apple apps and services on a Windows device (linking iPhone, accessing Photos, Apple TV/library purchases) to really make it compete with an iPad in that regard but with the benefit of full fledged Windows on top of it.
Stay tuned next week 😊
@@ThisIsE Looking forward to it!
Really buy the introduction between two dublicate guys :) Awsomely creative and humor, E! 👍 For me, have to say thay since the Ipad Pro M4 13 inch is becoming my main device ( the best substitute for my Macbook Pro M3 Pro), I have to say i choose "Go Big" indeed. But, "there is always a but" 😁, to hand it for normal surfing news at the sofa is still the matter with your hands (specially the small hands like me). Thats why I've got more reason to got the approval from my darling wife to get another Apple "not cheap at all" - the Mightly Ipad mini. That's life people, if you have to choose, buy Both is the best solution (although it is painfull for your pocket) kekekekke
Thank you and yes, sadly there’s some truth in your words ☺️
i love your video suggestion. i pretty confuse to buy betweeen 11" or 13" . I absolutely still use my laptop , But i need ipad for better note taking, zoom meeting and some presentation . I decide to buy 11 " cause the budget is a great deal . if i want to editing video, I will use my own laptop , because it have a huge SSD . great video !!!
Much appreciated 🙏🏻
Idk why I am watching this because I already bought a 11inch iPad Pro😂😂😂
Hahaha
Codm on ipad ?? Is it good
does anyone have any advice? i am a student and even after this helpful video i can’t decide 😣 i don’t have a computer so this would be my primary device but i don’t have much desk space (but i could always work some place else). i won’t be using heavy duty activities like drawing on it but i will probably be note taking. i will be using the ipad for a lot of work but also entertainment and multitasking. any advice is appreciated 😁😁
If it's your only device, I'd suggest the larger version.
@@ThisIsE Thank you 🙏
I enjoyed this video, and i think i made a decision to choose ipad pro 11"
Center stage? Think you meant to say Stage Manager
Yep, sorry about that!
The biggest problem is owning the Magic Keyboard for the iPad. The user experience is horrible compared to the Mac. I own a 13 in m4 cellular and a base 15 inch m3 air. I find myself using the m3 air because it’s just more comfortable. The only time I use the Magic Keyboard now is when I’m going somewhere for sometime and I know WiFi might be an issue.
I see your point!
i still cant decide.. i am kinda a learning artist + i dont travel so 13" is more logical, but im also a teen girl, so the 13" is ginormous for me (yk, smaller hands), plus i never had a big ipad, so i have nothing to go off of 😭😭
upd: and also the 13" costs 30k more, which is a third of a price of 11", so i think im gonna go whith the smaller one..
13 inch is the best for students and note takers. bought it and its changed my life
Glad to heat that
@@ThisIsE🔥
Imagine a folding iPad with 13" screen
That would be dope!
I don't know if you have switched camera or got a nice cinema lens, colours looks simply outstanding, specially the highlight roll off.....It feels like you are using ARRI Luts with some good cinema lens. Because I haven't seen this kind of smooth roll off in any Mirrorless cameras with photography lens.
Thanks for noticing. I am trying to improve colour grading every time
If you read lots of journals, 13 inch iPad is better than 11 inches. 13 inch screen is equivalent to letter size paper, so you can read journals without having to reposition or zoom.
yasss tech zaddy vibesss
As a 13 pro user. I’m about to trade it in for an 11 inch.
I am losing my mind because my sister have an 13inch iPad Pro m2 and I have 11inch iPad Pro m4, she asked me many times to swap the iPads. Should I do it? We both are students, I am going high school and she is going college.
Ah, that’s a touch choice. Personally, I’d keep the 11 (but tell her not to get mad at me 😂)
@@ThisIsE 😂❤
Honestly, get the smaller one
The 13 inch is too big to move around & with m1 you can plug it into a bigger display anywhere
Good take
i don't like the magic keyboard much because it's heavy and it just doesn't scream that i'm using an ipad, and you can't get the smart keyboard folio on the new ipads anymore because apple didn't update it to accomodate the new design. how is typing like on the 11 inch's digital keyboard?
also (completly unrelated question), what is your dream car
Typing on a digital keyboard is OK when you are in a pinch, but typing for a long time is not worth considering in my opinion.
I used to have many dream cars, but as I got older, I became less pretentious about that topic, to be honest. If you ask me now, my dream car is a VW T3 Caravelle Carat.
I think you’re confusing stage manager for center stage. Two very different things. JS.
I know, I know...😂
So many limitations in ipados next portable im getting is a macbook pro , especially after all the ridiculous addons you have to stick on an ipad to bring it even vaguely close to the functionality of a macbook then you hit the glaring limitations of ios ipados and tbh its downhill rapidly from then on. I tried doing a spreadsheet yesterday thinking they must have improved the experience in the last few years … nope , its still utterly abysmal.
I need help, i prefer the 12.9 inch size more then the 11inch as it has more screen real estate and makes the ipad make more sense, However 11inch is not that bad. The problem is that in my area the M4 11inch and m2 12.9 are the same price and are at the very edge of my budget. I have to pick either the size i prefer or the m4 tandem oled and apple pencil pro. As far i understand about ipads is that they typically last very long and the M series of chip is op for ipads so that means even the m1 would be sufficient for even a pro user. However i don't plan on buying another ipad for quite a while
Is it bad that dispite having the 11" M2 Pro, My favourite all time iPad is the iPad mini! I wish Apple would refresh the mini!
I wish the same
Guys help me 13 or 11 I can’t decide 😢 this video definitely helped! Subscribed ❤🎉
In the most simplified version, everything you can do on the 11 is much better on the 13 - multitasking, content consumption, editing, note taking especially if you are a student - you can have your lecture video open on one split and your lecture notes on the other. The drawbacks for the 13 is portability and cost. To be clearer on my first comment the 11 and 13 do exactly the same thing but 13 is just better. I bought both of these and had them for two weeks and eventually came to a conclusion based on my explanation above
I appreciate you sharing
Do you also use the 13” for school? Because I think about getting one but I’m not sure whether I get the 11” or 13”. I also use my IPad for drawing, animations and some editing(for school) but I don’t really know if it’s worth spending 200€ more on the bigger version. I also fear that it’s going to be really heavy. Maybe you could help me with your experience:)
I think what you are looking for is being able to hold in the hand (portability) vs actual heft. This 13 inch is not heavy it’s light but holding one hand might be a different challenge. For school work especially if you take digital notes or have online lectures, it’s easily the 13 for me. Most backpacks that fits a laptop will fit the 13. So it really comes down to cost. Are you willing to pay the extra 200 for extra real estate, in my case the answer was yes. I don’t think you can go wrong if you did the same. Multitasking on the 11 inch is a no no for me. To me that’s losing some functionality in my iPad. It’s there but I can’t really use it. If you like typing as well the 11 inch keyboard works if you have small hands but 13 fits both small and large hands. See where I’m going?
11 inch all the way! Better to buy a Macbook if I opted for 13 inch with magic keyboard.
I have always been using the 11 inch iPads but this time I got the 13 inch iPad Pro. Strangely the 13 inch iPad Pro also feels small to me because the footprint is smaller than the 13 inch MacBook Air which I have. I love big screens for viewing content so I hope Apple makes a 15 inch iPad Pro in future 😬😄
That is indeed a passionate request 😊
