it was made before blizzard confirmed you would NOT be able to take gnomish or goblin engineering, so about half the recipes it talks about are not accessible
New to WoW and just hit 40 with 3g to my account. Gonna try to use this tomorrow so I can have a mount. Is the sale price what we would sell to vendor or is that AH price?
Sale Price is what the item is selling for in the auction house. For the items marked with "DE", the sale price is the sale price of the AVERAGE disenchant materials you would get from disenchanting the item.
Does that use the AH price of the vendor items, like the leaded vials. and silken thread blah blah. Cause we know they cheaper on the vendor then the AH?
How can we add stuff there ourselves? There is so much stuff for Tailoring thats not on there.. like Dreamweave stuff for example/ starbelt etc... All in all GREAT WORK!
The phase 3 version just isn't working, after using this a lot in p2 with no issues. Copying the shopping list and getting price data seems to work, copying it into the Data Imports tab of the spreadsheet does not. I made a copy of the spreadsheet so I could edit it too.
Well, you are definitely doing something wrong. Because I use it just fine, copy the list from the sheet, get data from game, import back into sheet. Unfortunately you have not provided enough information for me to guess what you are doing wrong.
@@SimonizeShow all good. I give up. Several of my addons have been malfunctioning randomly in the past 2 weeks, auctionator being one of them. This was painless in p2 but just ain’t worth figuring out. Back to the incursions mines for me.
Prices change really quickly on the AH. An example would be myself buying out all of 1 material below a certain price because I need it for a recipe. Now that material has gone from 40 copper to 1s each because I wasnt willing to spend 1s on it. So if you got old price data then you are losing 60 copper or more on a sale because you didnt update. I would suggest updating everytime your going to buy. Selling is different, you want the price to be higher so cheaper items selling is good. You can also buy the cheaper items if theres a massive price difference and list all the items you made and bought for that new higher price. I've done that and made nice profits. Most of my money in phase 1 came from alchemy and it was easy to do. I exactly what this video said to do but I have an add on that does it for me. I cant remember what it is, I didnt install it on purpose but all I have to do is look up the materials and end item prices and it gets calculated for me.
Found the fix. Instead of hitting "Export" below the shopping list, you have to hit "Export Results" in the bottom right of the Auctionator Window below the full detailed list of items, then copy/paste.
What exactly is the spreadsheet for? Auctionator already shows the profit for crafted items in the profession tab after you do a scan. It even has an option to show disenchant value for items if you hover over them.
the sheet calculates cost and sale price better. for disnenchants, it picks whichever is more valuable 3 lesser or 1 greater to calculate value, rather than defaulting to what actually comes out of the disenchant. for crafted items with crafted components, the spreadsheet calculates based on base components and not crafted component costs. if you wanted to identify profitable crafts in Auctionator, you'd need log into 3+ different characters with maxed professions with all potentially profitable recipes, and then click on each individual recipe in your profession tab to see if it is proftable or not. thats stupid.
Hey mate, nice work but you are missing so many crafts - for example you have a handful of tailoring crafts, but there is no Dreamweav/Shadoweave crafting in here but there is 2g+ profit to be made crafting them
WOW! Thank you for this - what a genius spreadsheet! its what i didn't know I needed. keep up the good work matey! ♥
Please get in touch with an addon maker so you can get the credit for this work before someone else uses your work to develop an addon.
Why, there is no money in addons, who cares. More hassle than its worth.
How long have I been waiting for such a file, great job, respect for the work you put in!
what an amazing and easy use of the auctionator import tools
Really useful video and spreadsheet thank you, have been recommending it to some people having trouble with tsm crafting right now in sod
For me, the best video on your channel! Thanks again for your quality work.
Do you plan to do the same for the P3?
its already out and on the discord, check in the #sod-faq channel
Hey simon, is there any reason why that "You should be doing engineering in Phase 2" video isnt up that seems interesting.
it was made before blizzard confirmed you would NOT be able to take gnomish or goblin engineering, so about half the recipes it talks about are not accessible
Terrific videos. Clear and straight to the point!

What a chad! Awesome video and spreadsheet!
Glad you liked it!
Simon Great Work! Proud of You!

no
You're a hero. I wish I had as many hats as you.
How can we add stuff there ourselves? There is so much stuff for Tailoring thats not on there.. like Dreamweave stuff for example/ starbelt etc... All in all GREAT WORK!
Works great but how can we add our own? for example Mageweave bags for tailoring?
What is Massive Iron Axe used for?
is there a phase 3 spreadsheet?
two thumbs up brother
When will we see the optimal phase 2 profession leveling guide like the previous one you made? That was an amazing video and perfectly made. Cheers!
Damn this is an amazing tool! thx for the work!
Absolute chad! Thanks brother 🎉

How often do we have to update the list in auctionstor? Every time you open the program?
Prices change really quickly on the AH. An example would be myself buying out all of 1 material below a certain price because I need it for a recipe. ty so much for this, and all your valuable rogue tips
simon always with the banger excel tools
Great! can we get a video where you explain how to add other items in the excell? :))
thanks for all the working compiling the list. it's a great list.
This worked yesterday but now when I import a new list it won't populate in column A vertically, it just puts all the items in cell 1.A.
Same issue... can't figure out why though.
Found the fix. Instead of hitting "Export" below the shopping list, you have to hit "Export Results" in the bottom right of the Auctionator Window below the full detailed list of items, then copy/paste.
same here !!
just figured out why. there is 2 export button on auctionator. you need to clicl on the far right one '' export results '' not the '' export '' one
you're probably pasting in the shopping list and not the exported data
NEW SIMON JUST DROPPED - HYPE P2 HYPE SIMON HYPE
Bro, thank you so much for this!
Great video - But cant get it to work. The export get copied into one long line instead of going down the list and adding the right numbers.
you're probably pasting in the shopping list and not the exported data
cool spreadsheet. May i recommend TSM addon.
What exactly is the spreadsheet for? Auctionator already shows the profit for crafted items in the profession tab after you do a scan. It even has an option to show disenchant value for items if you hover over them.
I imagine to see everything from a higher level, instead of looking at EACH item individually
so you can see everything all at once easily. And from every profession. Insted of hopping on your de, then your tailor, then your leatherworker ect
@@Julez3133 I guess. Importing everything into the spreadsheet seems like more work to me though than just logging on another character.

Any chance on a P3 video xD
when I try and export to sheet everything just posts into Cell A1? anyone know how to fix this?
Having the same isusse. Find a fix?
you're probably pasting in the shopping list and not the exported data
How can the spreadsheet tell the profit from a DE?
It calculates the cost of making the item and the average value of what you get from DE-ing the item
thank you!!!
i subscribed for the hats.
Hey mate, nice work but you are missing so many crafts - for example you have a handful of tailoring crafts, but there is no Dreamweav/Shadoweave crafting in here but there is 2g+ profit to be made crafting them
Also things like Lesser Wizard Oil - there's so much missing tbh
Yup, noticed this as well. Dreamweave tailoring gear needs to be added. @SimonizeShow can you instruct on how to add items to this sheet?
@@1TheBusDriver yeah, it would be great if you demonstrated how we can add further items?
holy smokes ;D ty
Some dipsht dropped link on this in Darkshore chat.
Thanks for giving us the tools to make money :) OFC you didnt put all the good items and thats ok :) ty a loth
It there a correct way to introduce new crafts ?
your spreadsheets are so fucking organized bro, so many spreadsheets that are made for wow are a fucking disgusting mess
Imagine playing a game just for fun. Instead of everyone programming their bot software to maximize the efficiency of gold farming.
"bot software" its excel lol - you ever stop to consider this IS fun to some people?
