Is it just me or do the Amazon links not work?
Wish there was a picture or something to show the cut off line of the projector. Nobody ever does that in these types of videos everyone just shows what the headlight looks like when you are driving by or if you were passing by. I've had my eyes on the factory HID set for awhile now since this is the only headlight that is an option for people like me. Glad it looks nice but I wish people would focus on the actual performance of the headlight. Projectors are not all made the same.
vietsimpleminded I would like to see this as well. Alot of other guys who tried this went back to original because they had horrible light output and angle.
Actually, I installed these lights too last week. The light cuttoff is really good. I would say better than original. If you get adaptive ones from eBay, they will move up and down but not side to side when you drive. You basically take leveling motor and the ballast and adaptive module from your original light and transfer it to new one.
Our Headlight cut off line are not that bad to be honest with you. Try it and if you do not like it, we will cover return shipping fee

VIPMotoz is just a distributor for Spyder Headlights, and yes they make 3 different versions of these headlights. One is for the Stock Halogen, one is for stock HID, and one is for LCI with Adaptive Control. You just need to look around and make sure you buy the right one

what model is this car were the bulbs halogen xenon or HID before you changed to led?

As others have said, please make an update video. I live in MA and have the same car so I watch all your tutorials, they’re a lot of help. I bought similar 3D headlights from amazon and they fog up and my left directional went out... considering these as long as you have no issues down the road, thanks

Hello great video really helped me out with the install on mine. But the old halgen bulb i switched out to the new ones from stock doesnt look right with the white halo's. What bulb should i be looking to get to give that white bright look between the halo ring ?

Does this headlights keep the function " dynamic light " ( when you turn your sterewheel to the right/left the light move to the position that you want) my stock headlight have this system and I want to know if this new headlights doe the same function. Thank you ! Nice job!

Just letting you know that the lights are AFS so they do that function. I know this post is from 6 months ago but I thought I would share this for future people scrolling.

The stock low beams are extremely bright... excellent headlights!
Thank you for getting back to me so after owing these for awhile have you had an issues with them? And prior to installing did you apply any extra silicone protection to prevent moisture build up?

Honestly, yes they might- I need to adjust the cut off line as with any headlights.
how did u pull back the fender liner that far back on my e90 its so hard to pull it back without it going back into place after letting go even with the screws off
Yeah man looks great. I got a question for you though and it’s from this video. So my car makes this like whistle noise. I check I think it’s my cvc lines or vacuum lines. But i don’t know if it really is or not. I saw a vid but this guy had like an n54 engine so it’s very different from mine. The way the hoses are lined up. So if you’ve ever come across some like this ?

I'm realy interested by this headlights, in fact I just by a set and waiting for the delivery. In the video you put your old LED low beam into your new headlight in high beam position. Are they H7 type? Because the high beam connector of this headlights is H1. How did you manages to get them work?
The low beam is H7, and the high beam is H1 if I recall correctly.

Jay I’m pretty sure it’s just a muffler delete but he put one of those fancy valves that opens and closes to make the exhaust quite or loud
I have an electric cutout valve before the muffler- essentially a muffler delete.

These are by far the best lights for the E90, especially for the money. I have had zero issues so far.
I got the same type of headlights and I threw LED bulbs in it. Well I noticed I shine those road signs (big green one) when driving on highways? lol I made sure cutoff lines were same as halogen but it looks like I might have to lower more.

Nice job, do these guys make lights for a 2011 M3? I do have adaptive headlights, but I'd like the 3/4, flat bottom, DTM style halos.
Unfortunately I don't think they make them for the 2011... sorry.

Fantastic job, it looks awesome. My E91 Touring has stock lights, but the high beam is insanely bright, shining for hundreds of yards. The low beam was a different matter. Absolutely terrible and weak, so I bought and fitted new higher power bulbs today. Even in daylight they look brighter and whiter, not that weak yellow orange colour. I can't wait to try them in the dark. The Angel eyes are next :)

Did your car come with halogen headlights? That why they sent you the halogen bulb which you swapped for your LED? In other words will they send xenon d1s for the adaptive xenon package?
Yes- my headlights were originally halogen. I believe you are correct in assuming they will send you xenon d1s.
you will have to use your own d1s xenon for xenon headlights

No xenon kid needed! HID low beams come stock. Only the high beam needs upgrading to LED.
JD Cars my 2008 had the same stock headlights as you, if I buy these are they essentially plug and play ? Or do I need to specify that I want the upgraded hid included when I buy ? Also can hog send a link where I can get the same ones you

The shipping is expensive from Amazon to my country, but I can buy these headlights with halogen bulbs in my country with no problem, so I want to atleast be able to replace them with LED's. Yes! The H7 fits very well in this headlight!
Going to be honest with you. LED are great but not with Projectors. For this headlight, we recommend you to go with HID bulbs. Much Much brighter

Hey JD I just installed these exact headlights they work great, but the halos are not my daytime running lights the H1 high beams are how can I get the halos to be the daytime running lights.
I would recommend getting the Carly adapter for BMW. This will allow you to code your headlights.

Just turn your headlight dial onto the Halo/Parking light instead of leaving it on automatic, and save yourself the headache of coding.
Do these come with LED turn signals? If not, can I install my LED turn signal bulbs that I bought on Amazon?
They come with halogen turn signals, but they can be changed to LED.

The flickering is only visible on camera because of the camera's high frame rate.

At this time there is not a better instrument cluster... also the car's mileage (odometer) is stored in the cluster making things very complicated.

Why not install lci aftermarkets? You purchased pre lci style aftermarket ones. And do tail lights to lci they look so aged

Yup! You turn the switch all the way to the right for just halos.

The halogen headlights usually do not have stock halos, but the xenons do.
You also have to know if there adaptive and if it’s a pre lci or lci car which would require coding and additional parts

I looked at these headlights, I liked the style but the bulb replacing would be a hassle! I liked the style of the M4 style ones they have with the led turning lights too!
The bulb replacement really wasn't bad at all

Why aren't these headlights made in the coupe version, I've been searching all night. Only made for the sedan..... and one of my halos just went out. I'd kill to have these on my coupe
