Big thank Celebrity Underrated, this was perfectly delivered: My Grandfather is ninety-eight years young now but, at the time when rap came out like most from the Silent Generation, he wasn't feeling it at all until Heavy D "Mr. Big Stuff" video debut on BET "Video Soul". He loved Heavy albums so much, my first born son nickname is Heavy D. My Grandfather doesn't cry much however, when word spread Heavy passed away, he was devastated. Heavy D is not only irreplaceable, his music still has every generation hyped!

Dope video man! Heavy D is in my Top 10 of all artists across all genres.
Last year, I caught a DVT in my leg from a long flight. Once I got home, something just didn’t feel right. I got checked and they caught the clot, which ended up breaking and causing a pulmonary embolism. I was fortunate that docs gave me blood thinners. I’m very healthy and I work out 5X a week, but blood clots aren’t a joke.
Heavy D should’ve never been given a Z Pack, he should’ve been prescribed blood thinners. It sucks that that docs error cost him his life.
    Solid video… RIP Heavy

There was these girls that danced to We Got Our Own Thing by Heavy D and The Boyz and i was hooked. After that Big Hev became my favorite rapper. He introduced me to a different life. Heavy D & The Boyz was my first rap concert when I was 12 yrs old. My mom approved because he didn't use profanity. One of my favorite reggae songs by Heav was Modern Connection with Courtney Melody & Brigadier Jerry. RIP Heav & Trouble T-Roy 🙏🏾
