You really must visit Leadenhall Market which I believe is London's most beautiful, magical market. Just minutes away from the crowded Borough Market Leadenhall is a beautiful example of a hidden gem tucked away in the City of London. During the weekend when the City is quiet and the office workers are at home you can wonder the market and the surrounding streets in peace. I recommend visiting early in the day of a weekend to really have the place to yourself.
Not only is Leadenhall Market beautiful it its own right it is also a "must see" for Harry Potter fans as the market was used in TWO films in the Harry Potter franchise.

The architecture is amazing! What a treat. Loved the genuine shops. Much more inviting than Herrods.

It was such a lovely hour away from the London crowds. I think it’s quiet on a Saturday because not much is open there of a weekend.

@@Spookilysparkly I think it's because it's mostly offices around there the shops cut their losses of a weekend .. I don't blame them! AND bonus it meant it was nice and quiet for me

It was a lucky find, I was actually trying to get somewhere else but took a detour! Was shocked how tranquil it was .. I really should learn to ride a bike (fun fact about me you didn’t ask for 😂)
Those buildings are absolutely stunning. I’ve never seen Harry Potter, so that’s a bit lost on me. What a wonderful place this is. Adds to the mystery it being practically deserted as well! Thanks Lucy.

Do go back to the Royal Exchange though and have a shufty round inside. I was there last year, it is absolutely beautiful and ornate in a way that only obscene wealth can create.
