Thanks so much for the video. My cardstock kept jamming in the middle of the printer so I followed your suggestion of turning over the printer and cleaning the rollers and now it works.
Thank yo u so much for this video. I'm having trouble putting back the piece that you removed at the 9:00 mark. When I try to pop back in the left side, where should the white tab line up, and how to align the right side before putting on the bracket?
Thank you for your video. We had a false paper jam error. Your video showed step by step what to do. The only problem I had was I couldn't see if the screws you unscrewed were silver or black.
Hi. I'm glad you were able to remove the jam. The silver and black screw are same. Color is the only difference. That is if screw is being screwed into plastic
@303Electronics Thank you for this video. However, I'm not seeing the need to disassemble the entire printer to clear a false paper jam message? How can you do this and remove the false paper jam message without taking apart the printer? Is it a matter of just cleaning the rollers? Thank you for your input. Also, I've a 7640 Envy printer.
I have one of these printers and would like to recycle it. Does this printer have a hard drive or a capacity to store images? in which it could be a security issue.
Thank you for taking so much time and effort on this most informative video. PLEASE... can you shed any light on how to make these printers stop thinking that there is a document in the feeder when there is none? I have about 6 of these printers, i buy them new in the box from ebay. All of them at about 6000 "total pages printed" think that there is a sheet in the document feeder when there is none, therefore it will not scan or accept a sheet in the feeder... all failed exactly the same way at approximately 6000 pages printed.... no matter how many pages were put thru the feeder.... usually very few???
I am having an issue with lifting the lid on my printer. I had a paper jam. Upon trying to go and lift that lid opened, it is stuck and will not let me open it. I have unplugged the printer and left it unplugged, I can not get to the paper if I can't open the lid. Any help? I've searched online to no end and I'm not very tech savvy.
Hi I have the 5740 printer. My TouchPad is not working right. The top icons work but the bottom one's don't. For example if I want to print i press the print button but I can't select black or color because it doesn't work. Should I buy a new one or take it to get repaired? Or is there something I can try at home.
i am having a loud grinding ratcheting noise coming from the right side when printing two-sided. it is LOUD. print comes out fine just crazy loud. but if i smack the side it goes away for the rest of the print haha. i dont want to just smack the thing, any suggestions? the sound happens only when the paper is pulled back in to do the second side.
Hi. Seems like the duplex unit may need some adjusting. Pull it out and make sure all gears synchronize . Also check into that back open area and make sure nothing is in the way. Sometimes a piece of paper or paper clip may be stuck there
Thank you, please keep this video on hand, it's SUPER HELPFUL!!!

Can you do a video on reassemblingthe HP Envy 7640 Officejet printer or even on the one you took apart
It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the request. I do not have this printer now, but if I get one, I'll try to honor your request.
Thank you
You're welcome
Thus guy was pleasant and covered a lot, just needs a little better camera work.
It's easy to criticize. Nasty comments don't help anyone.
Thank you for your support. Will work on my camera quality.

Hi. That happens if the document feeder sensor is getting extra dust. Sometimes, just cleaning the sensor with an air can resolve the issue.

I would like to know if the printer can store data and if it has internal memory.

Trank you ❤

You can warm the area of the buttons that are not working with a hair fan. That helps sometimes.
What would make it not paint or copy anything the paper comes out with nothing on it and it does have ink in it
Cartridge is clogged. No doubt about that. See this video:

You kept pointing to things that were not in the picture.
