- If you need to fix your HP Officejet 8030 series printer, it is easy to get inside the printer to do so. Check out this video to learn how to remove parts.
THANK you for making this video! I was about ready to toss my HP OfficeJet Pro 8030 because despite all troubleshooting efforts I could not redeem print quality and could not FIND any kind of schematic. You have made my day with this VERY HELPFUL video!! I was getting really frustrated (that statement should be the one in all caps!). Much appreciation!
🙂 I'm glad it helped. I appreciate your feedback very much! Have a great day!
Plastic piece at the base of the printer came out, I was able to use this video to locate where it came from. Thank you. Keep up the good work.
My touch screen is white what should I do ?
Hi. Check the wire that connects the screen to main board. It seems like the wire got partially disconnected at either the screen port or main board port.
Thank you! I could not figure out that hinge to open it fully
Can you remove the cable from the screen and replace the screen or do you need a new cable?
HI ! your video on the teardown was very helpful. but i have the hp 9015 and it wont feed paper through , i traced the problem to a small plastic round gear toothed small round wheel attached to the far right side of the spinning rod that goes under the print head . that plastic gear is broken and when the printer tries to feed the paper through it just keeps spinning and i get a no paper message . the question i have is can that plastic geared wheel be replaced and where can i get one ? maybe you can show a video of how to remove that item and replace it with another . i tried fixing it with crazy glue but after 1 or 2 successful prints it breaks down again .
Hi. I'm sorry you are having trouble with the printer. It is extremely hard to find the part. I do not have it. Are your rollers clean?
Hello,
I used your method of cleaning EPSON printhead from one of your earlier videos. My printer wont print at all now,
do you have suggestions on how to fix this?
You can see my other comments at epson printhead cleaning video.
Hello. The problem most likely is that There is air bubbles in the nozzles or cartridges are near empty and cannot purge ink. Try either changing cartridges or adding water to each nozzle to remove air bubbles. If you do that, it will first print faint color for a few pages, then will be normal. Please keep in mind that any repair that I or someone else posts is not a guaranteed fix for everyone as circumstances can be different. Thank you.
@@303electronics Thanks so much for the reply. Running water through the nozzles seemed to clear the air bubbles.
I appreciate you getting back to me so quickly, have a great day!
Taking it apart is easy, putting it back correctly is the real challenge.
Hello, I only have a Canon printer 8520 and it shows error number 6004. This error tells me that I'm making sure there are no scraps of paper inside the printer. And I already checked inside the printer and couldn't find anything and sent it for maintenance and they asked me to replace the internal system completely due to a defect in the ups and downs inside the printer and the cost of repairing it was very expensive, can you help me fix it in another way, thank you
I havethe 8023 model, it's stuck on printing alignment page, tried to replace all the cartridges but still doing the same thing. I have connected to the printer via HP Smart and it shows a Scanner Failure could this be the problem and what do i reckon with? Is there a possible problem with the cable?
Hi. Does your printer make you put the printed alignment page to be scanned? If not, then, i dont think that on this printer alignment would fail because of scanner error. If it does make you scan, make sure the glass is clean before you do that. Try to cancel alignment by pressing "X" on the printer. Print a "quality test report" from printer settings, reports menu. See if all 4 color blocks are healthy. Alignment page needs black and cyan to be 100% in order for alignment to pass.
My paper pickup roller won’t drop and there’s some blue stuff sticking to the plastic at the hinge of the pick up roller that got caught. Does anyone have the same problem? Also which screw driver is this guy using?
Hi. The screw driver size is a torx screw star-shaped size 10 or T10. Not sure about the roller being stuck though.
hello how can i fix the scanner all of a sudden when i turn it on it just moves back and forth as it sounds like its breaking. it then gives me an error it cannot copy or scan. never had an issue before with this. hp has not been much help. is there anyway i can fix or replace it.
Hello. Look inside the glass with the help of a flashlight and see if anything is misplaced or is in the way of the scanner. There may be a lock on the bottom of plastic encasement, but I'm not sure if this model has that. If there is, make sure you unlock it. It should just move back and forth. Worst case would be a broken motor on scanner or a broken gear. You may be able to remove the top glass and inspect better that way.
Hello, (sep 2023): i followed your video w intent to replace the CMOS battery 2032 on my HP 6978 to see if that would make the printer print.. After changing the battery and putting the printer back together, the screen on the panel was blank with a white background but no menu.
I removed the new battery and replaced it with the old battery by taking the printer apart a 2nd time. Again, the panel displayed a blank white screen. I played w buttons and checked ribbon cable connections but nothing.
I replaced the old battery w another NEW 2032 battery by dismantling a 3rd time. After putting it back together, and making sure that the ribbon cables were correctly put back together, the panel is still displaying a white blank screen.
Is there a reset button on the back of the panel or anywhere after changing the CMOS battery? Any help from anybody would be appreciated. I can scan using the computer software and that works. If i try to print a report from the pc hp 6978 software, I a get a "device is busy" message. Apparently, the menu is hung up after connecting the power on. Any ideas?????
What kind of scredriver are you using? I found a pretty much brand new 8022 at a thrift store and I was going to use it, but I am going to part it out to replace the top feeder tray on my printer at work. But these are some FUNKY looking screws! I have a 9015 at work.
Hi. You need a torx screw size 10 or T10. Good luck! Thanks for watching.
can the front piece be taken off the tray? It's just in the way
If you are talking about the end flap on the output tray, it should stay closed if the tray is collapsed.
Hi .. How do you put back the paper tray cover ? The part where the 2 buttons are? We pulled the tray out and cant put back the cover . Cant figure out where the 2 button connect to. So frustrating. Any help is appreciated.
It should just slide horizontally into the correct spot. The buttons do not need to be pressed when installing tray. Only when removing.
Please tell us exactly what replacement ink you used for HP Officejet Pro 8600 and where to get it. It would have been helpful info to include under "see more" Thanks so much!
Does anyone know where to get parts? I was able to get it apart and found the small white gear at the right end of the silver guide rod is broken. It looks like it's the gear that moves the print head assembly forward and backward. It's probably a 1 cent part I'd be happy to pay $10 for vs buying another $250 printer.
What to do when a black mark is down the center of your page after feeding through feeder.
I need the procedure for hp office jet pro 9015e

Sir I can no longer close the side of my door and need help
Hi. See if there is anything in the way of the door, check the hinge area to make sure all is in place, and make sure there are no bent plastic tabs.
@@303electronics thankyou so kindly for your help. Your doing a awesome job helping people I appreciate it pal
How to put it back together
One piece and screw at a time. :-)
Thanks now i can take mine apart and clean the print head thoroughly cuz it wont print cyan since it dried up in there
Hi. I'm glad you found this helpful. Hopefully you will get it all cleaned and printing fine again. Have a good day.
Did it work? My Cyan stopped printing as well. I've done all of the troubleshooting and even tried flushing it and it still won't print. I'm about ready to take the whole thing apart since I can't afford to buy a new printer :(
@@brittnnieberry7003 it did not work it needed a whole new print head and that was more expensive than buying a new printer lol so i ended up buying a cheaper printer in target and thats been working better
My cyan stopped working, too. So frustrating and sad to know that there’s no fix besides sending a 1-year old printer to the landfill and buying another one.
I had the same problem (as many other people) with Cyan not printing. I'm highly considering taking the printer apart and completely cleaning it out. I also noticed a confusing puddle of mixed ink all over the section of the bottom case where the carriage parks.
Do you sell printhead?
Hi. I do not have printheads for this model. But we do sell printheads when we have some to sell. Thanks
For the most part this is all a waste of time. These printers arent designed to be repaired.
