One cannot go on our own and it's almost mandatory to join a Tour organiser like Shankartreks.com as the Chinese (Tibet) visa is processed on group basis only.. But one can also start tour from Chennai or Bangalore or Mumbai or Hyderabad or Delhi.. but every one will invariably go either via Lucknow-NepalGunj helicopter route or Delhi - Kathmandu by air and then to Tibet by Bus.. Approximate expense from Lucknow to Lucknow is 2 lacs Indian Rupees, including 30,000 for Horse or pony & porter. All the best🙏

A Streak - Yes. You are correct. This video is covering my Kailash Mansarovar Yatra in 2016. At that time bathing was allowed and we did take bath. But when I went to Kailash again in 2018, the Chinese authorities have imposed restrictions to take bath in Mansarovar.. They fenced the entire 110 km boundary of Mansarovar, set up cameras to monitor pilgrim activities and also introduced Patrolling by military people to catch offenders... All these I have shared in detail in the 2018 Video which you have seen. But from your question, it’s clear that you did not follow the commentary correctly. Request you to listen to the 2018 commentary again and you will realise all this. Trust it’s clear to you now. Ohm Nama Shivaya 🙏

Yes. As per my personal experience during Aug 2018 Yatra, taking a dip in Holy Manasarovar is not permitted. They have fenced the whole 110 kilo meter boundary and installed cameras to monitor violations. But I heard still some people, small groups quickly take a dip and move. Officially it’s not permitted and some groups may take the risky option of a quick dip, then that does not mean it’s possible or recommended.

Dear Sir, China Permit to visit Kailash Manasarovar is given only to people who are less than 70 years of age and with good health especially person should not have any breathing problems. A Doctor's certificate to that effect is required. This is 99% followed strictly. However, in some very very special cases, people do get permit even if they are older than 70 years and how they get permit, I do not know. I hope you understand. Regards

A Streak - Yes. You are correct. This video is covering my Kailash Mansarovar Yatra in 2016. At that time bathing was allowed and we did take bath.
But when I went to Kailash again in 2018, the Chinese authorities have imposed restrictions to take bath in Mansarovar.. They fenced the entire 110 km boundary of Mansarovar, set up cameras to monitor pilgrim activities and also introduced Patrolling by military people to catch offenders...
All these I have shared in detail in the 2018 Video which you have seen.
But from your question, it’s clear that you did not follow the commentary correctly.
Request you to listen to the 2018 commentary again and you will realise all this.

Second start watching a few Kailash Yatra videos and If possible talk to pilgrims who have been there recently.
Third, plan and arrange finances. minimum budget is 1.70 lacs. If one want to go quickly and comfortably, budget 2.30 lacs. (Flight & Helicopter with porter & horse)
Fourth - prepare yourself mentally and physically (walking, climbing, pranayamam, yoga etc) atleast 6 months before.
Fifth, book thru a reliable Kailash Yatra Operator.

Yes. As per my personal experience during Aug 2018 Yatra, taking a dip in Holy Manasarovar is not permitted. They have fenced the whole 110 kilo meter boundary and installed cameras to monitor violations.
But I heard still some people, small groups quickly take a dip and move.
Officially it’s not permitted and some groups may take the risky option of a quick dip, then that does not mean it’s possible or recommended.

Dear Sir,
China Permit to visit Kailash Manasarovar is given only to people who are less than 70 years of age and with good health especially person should not have any breathing problems. A Doctor's certificate to that effect is required.
This is 99% followed strictly.
However, in some very very special cases, people do get permit even if they are older than 70 years and how they get permit, I do not know. I hope you understand.

Manjumanas - Yes indeed. I checked with the jeweller who helped me to make a Maalai. He confirmed that it’s is original Saligramam stone.
By the way, why would any one give duplicate when original is available in such large quantity at Mukthinath????
