Yeah! I am new into dirt biking. I gave this method a try, after multiple unbeknownst to me failures. This bike looks like new again with a fraction of the work. Even the tires look like fresh black licorice. The motor looks brand new. I used Costco brand free and clear because that is what i had on hand in my shop.
Great Idea I'll try that next time.Not sure how it will work on Tennesse red mud but we will give it a try..One thing I do is use the leaf blower to dry ithen WD 40
Right on. My friend recently turned me onto Z-MAXX Powder Detergent. Its used the same way as the Detergent I used in this video but it actually does a better job. Its made for semi trucks and trailers. I think I might do a updated video showing this stuff off, it works well. I have used a leaf blower before, and my shop air compressor lol
correct about simple green !! I use detergent as well. however I do use ALL because that's what I have, so now I'm going to use tide. Thanks! and people he's right about Simple Green!
Great job on cleaning the dirt scooter ! I’ll give you something to tryout I think you gonna like it better, it cleans the bike and guides a bit of shine as well !
Literally 2 nights ago I was reading your post on TT about this bike washing technique and today you post a vid on it. 👍. I also use wd40 on my chains instead of lube. Chain lube seems to attract dirt and make a mess on everything.

I have to give credit to my brother, hes the one who first showed me the laundry detergent trick. Not sure how he stumbled on it but it works well. Your right chain lubes seems to do more damage than good.
hello good video, what proportion of oil and gasoline do you use in the yz, I think the manufacturer indicates that you use too much, thanks in advance greetings
Hello. I'm currently using about 25:1 . Yamaha recommends 32:1 . 32:1 is a good middle ground and good place to start. But faster riders, or conditions with more sustained full throttle pull will benefit from a richer ration
If mixed too strongly it oxidizes the aluminum on the bike. When mixed mildly it wont oxidize on first wash but after repeated washes it does. The aluminum parts will loose thier shine and start getting hazy looking

great job cleaning ,only thing I do different is I use a air compressor before spray down with wd40

No, I just leave the air filter on. And after washing the bike then I remove the air filter and clean it or put another clean one on.

It can but it also doesn't allow the dirt to cling on as well, making washing it off easier i feel

Is car wash soap good ??
Usually car soap is meant to not strip off wax so its probably not strong enough to clean our dirty dirt bikes

@@sethmacgillivary1281 no dish soup doesn't hurt anything. It just doesn't do as good as laundry detergent (tide or arm and hammer)
