I ended up getting to grade 7 in piano.. I hated piano, it was for my mom really. But when I heard and learnt this song for royal conservatory, it changed my opinion on piano and made me realize piano can be absolutely amazing and emotionally expressive. One of the most beautiful songs I'd ever heard. I will relearn it one day. Been about 13 years since I've played it. Can't wait to be able to play it again.
SO BEAUTIFUL!!! Already your new recording, again my favourite Mendelssohn on your channel, I play only several his pieces, therefore you motivate me to learn the next his songs, of course, my "like-thumb up" for your delightful performance, I hope there will be more his music in your renditions soon, but temporarily good luck and warmth from Poland.
wow!! this piece is beautiful itself, but you give it such a life, emotion and passion, I appreciate your talent. I'll start learning this one tomorrow, wish me luck
@@StanislavStanchev Understandable. I looked into it a bit and there's certainly more to it than I initially assumed. Still, I hope you'll consider it one day. I just started learning this piece myself btw!
So musical and beautiful! (I listen to it everyday, you help me make my playing better) Thank you so much! And advice on how to get better, faster trills?
I accidentally stumbled upon this piece while searching for Mendelssohn's Op. 19, no 6, which is also called Venetian boat song, and I'm pleasantly surprised!
