My favorite Mendelssohn piece together with his Rondo Capriccioso.

The part about the phrasing around the repeated notes was fantastic! 😃 Thanks!

I recently bought the Alfred edition (w/ the lay flat binding). Very happy with it.

Great to see your pedalling. It is different to my edition's suggestions, and in my opinion both more comfortable and a bit better sounding (at least for my instrument). As Mendelssohn's pedal markings were vague (and presumably suited to an ancient piano), your foot cam is very helpful!!

Your playing is always so precise. I think that's what I struggling with in my playing. my teacher says that I get the big picture very easily, but I tend to have to spend more time on the details. Anyway, thanks for another great video Mr. Wright!

Maybe a bit more volume for the piano.. I do love this piece by Mendelssohn, so thanks for the pro practice tips.
