We appreciate you checking this out. Out of curiosity, is this intentionally designed to feel like LFA is strong in the early scenarios, or were we just playing the Breakers badly?
Very good review. Many have been luke warm on this game. But you seemed to explore the game deeper then other reviewers, as usual. This will be another must have for me. Tell NATO in the WWII version the scouts are a special Ranger class that as well as checking for enemies get to write Kilroy Was Here on buildings. Germans get -1 morale when they do that! 😃
@@PMMagro Invaders ( sci-fi) was the lest popular version of Zombicide. So, not always. The fact thee are so many maps is a big deal, more replay ability and more ways to create your own scenarios.
I hate this system. It could be about anything. Just substitute wizards and dragons for spaceships and MG squads. It’s just a very abstract mess. Maybe it’s an OK “game” but why not just play Cosmic Encounter?
Sorry, fake review. Singing praises of this game yet inconsistent with what you reviewed when you did Undaunted, Normandy. Thumbs down. Learn to be consistent. I have all undaunted games from Normandy to this. In terms of theme, the WW2 undaunted games are more thematic. The game system isn't geared towards futuristic space. Sigh... poorly done.
Well, Flash enjoys the game a lot, and he never played Normandy (actually, I think he played it once), and I'm not even sure if he played Battle of Britain. The content on Normandy was done by me (Nato), and I have my problems with some of the 'game-y" mechanics that make it (for me) a frustrating game experience. I think there are better war game systems out there, but I appreciate what the Undaunted series is trying to do, which is to make wargaming accessible to a new group of gamers.
Thanks for the review, gents! So glad you enjoyed it.

@@LegendaryTactics, the LFA should "feel" stronger, but both sides should have roughly even odds for winning through different strategies.
I am so looking forward to getting this game! The sci-fi setting gets my imagination going!

It is the theme. Wargamers like very thematic games so a sci-fi game must have character? I can see mechanics have been tweaked. Interesting.

Cosmic is one my favorite games, but Callisto scratches a completely different itch. It's sounds like you haven't caught that infection though.
Why not just play chess and yahtzee . It covers all you need;)😂😂😂😂
