If you like Alison Krauss' voice, you're not alone. She has won a grand total of 27 Grammy Awards, more than any woman in history. A super fiddler, she also has 14 International Blue Grass Association Awards and Country Music Television recently ranked her 12th on their list of the 40 greatest women of country music. This is a cover of a Keith Whitley song you two reacted to sometime back. Jim has a pretty good memory for an old guy. (Just kidding. I'm at least 20 years older than you are, Jim.)

The trouble with this song is, every time I hear it somebody starts cutting onions. That's gotta be the reason my eyes water up.

One of the purest, angelic voices on the planet. She could sing me the phone book. I’ve seen her in concert 8 times. More Grammy’s than any other female artist in history.

To sum up the song, actions speak LOUDER than words.

Sometimes you hear the songs, or parts, in movies which makes them seem familiar.

Keith Whitley did the original version of this. You must do that for comparison. It's far superior, in my opinion. Although, Allison does do a fantastic job also.

For beautiful harmony, listen to Brad Paisley's song Whiskey Lullaby, featuring Alison Krause. If possible, to follow the emotional story, watch the official video with it.
