I am learning this now and was hoping you'd have recorded just the cello part! It is so hard to hear some parts over the piano normally! :) Your account is a true gift for a beginning cellist like me-thank you SO MUCH!
This is such a crazy coincidence! I just got home from printing out this score at Staples. This notification was the first thing I saw when I put my phone and keys on the table.
Thanks, teacher! I am self-taught and your help is invaluable. Thank you so much for your time teaching! Your generosity deeply moves me. Big hug from Argentina and we hope to hear more tangos! : D
@Cellopedia you really reply to my comment! 🥹 it made my day! I actually don't play cello, I play violin. This piece remind me of my late father, I quit music school since his passing 😭 I want to be able to play elegie soo so badly, but never understand the hard part. I'm so bad at sight reading and only depend on my hearing. By practicing slowly with your video, It made easier! So thank you again! You have no idea that you just gave me hope. ❤️🩹
Thank you for understanding. I use settings to prevent RUclips from showing ads in the middle of the piece. Ads at the beginning and the end of videos ( plus contributions from Fan Club and Patreon members) help me to make few dollars to free time for continuing Cellopedia project. 🎻
Your playing is always so pleasant to listen to, I like it a lot. And I have been learning this piece like 2 years ago, and I hope I can play as good as you do. 🙇😊
@@Cellopedia wow, thanks for your support, I will never stop practicing. And, the fact that you're so humble really is really breathtaking, it makes you stand out among other cello tutors on RUclips 😊

I want to learn how to play this on bass and try to attempt to play it in c minor and not g minor
After this i would Be flattered If you would play Vivaldi-winter
I love it, but it seems to sound better on violin…
What’s the tempo?
I did not use a metronome to play through.
The original tempo marking in Suzuki book 8 is “molto adagio”
