I got 2 pair because they’re good shoes to run in whether your a beginner or experienced runner. I’m a 225lb runner and in my opinion they are very comfortable to run in.
@@snecho00am similar size and I bought these today. I love a max cushion MoreV4 or Nike Invincible. But, as a bigger guy, I sometimes just want a firmer more stable ride.
I like the Hyperion Max but, if Brooks wants to charge $250, they need to be using a real premium foam. $170 was also the wrong price for the Hyperion Max; I got it on discount. Brooks knows it, too, because the Hyperion 2 is going to be almost the same as the Hyperion Max and priced at $140.
Thx for the review as I’ve been wondering about this shoe. I’ve run in Brooks but their firm ride has me preferring Saucony these days. Have you reviewed the ASICS Magic Speed for a lower budget super shoe? I’d be interested in your take on those.
You’re welcome, glad you enjoyed it! I’m hoping to get hold of some @ASICSGlobal shoes for review soon, and that would be a great one to review! I’ll do my best to get hold of it. Thanks for watching ✌🏼
I tried on my Hyperion elite 4 pair and the back of the shoe is badly designed, it burned my achilles tendon through my sports socks during my VMA session. First time that's happened to me with a pair of running shoes.
Sorry for the delay in replying! I wanted to check properly with my pair and I can confirm you should be fine putting your own orthotic insoles in them. The one that comes with it comes out easily and they’re a medium width shoe so should be all good. Some carbon shoes are ridiculously narrow and won’t take an insole. Depending on what shoe you’re currently using them on, you may need to shave a little off the edges however.
I train in the Hyperion Tempo`s and I'm running a half marathon in these, hoping to PR!
Nice, these feel like a great transition from the Tempo don’t they 💥
Thx for the detailed review. Very informative, useful. I like the aurora-bl the most from brooks.
Thank you! Oh I need to try the Aurora BL!
I really want these. Why you think most reviewers are giving them so much hate?
No idea 🤷 I don’t tend to watch other reviewers. They’re a great shoe

@snecho00 the out the box fit is so good for a super shoe 👌🏼

Yeah I totally get that! Stability is important too

Agree that midsole foam needs work and it’s too narrow under the heel. Fits and feels like a dream though.

Are you referring to the padded cushions on the inside of the heel counter?
@@trailandkaleOn the inside seam of the little tongue that helps you put the shoe on :(
@kfb10101 do you have heel tabs on your socks? That should help
Could I put my orthotics in them you think?
