I have a question if anyone can answer this for me.
If both my mom and dad are dead what do I do.
As a 40 year old woman who did not obey the will of God at 20 years old. I am pleading for young women to listen to this message. Please.

I married my husband and both of our parents said no. Not because they didn't think we would love one another or because we weren't giving God our all but because they were broken in their own marriages. Because they were broken in their own singleness, they said no. I've only been married 4 years and it has been a Challenge!!🙌😌 but very rewarding😍 but the Lord is with us both and has been blessing us to encourage those Same parents that told us Not to get married. I know this because they've said they admire our marriage and love for God now. Even if they didn't want to admit it😊 I would say this pastor, I love your teachings and what the Lord gives you to teach but not Everyone has parents who have their best interest at heart. We know this to be true because the Lord said, when your father and mother forsake you, I am with you! So.... parents. Don't say you disapprove of your kid getting m married cause you aren't married. Or because your marriage is in shambles. Instead you should want better for your kids. So don't be ashamed, tell your kids... Don't go down the road I went. But instead learn from my mistakes. Learn from my broken heart. I pray this brings clarity❤ love this church and this pastor!! peace and love always 🙏
Amen so true! We have to ask God how does this message apply to me personally because we all are in different situations and families. I think the Pastor had good intentions but what about people who don’t have godly parents or parents who are jealous and bitter and don’t want to see you happy? We have to take it to God in prayer and trust that he won’t lead us astray ❤️

I’m 22 here in 2020 preparing myself for marriage. I’ve been through things in life that only people older than me can relate to :/ for example taking care of my father since a young age .. learning to sacrifice, forgive & love someone beyond their most unlovable and having responsibilities along with stress and ambitions. I’m hurt because I’m putting into my relationships something a guy my age wouldn’t even know how to return :/. I’m tired of getting into these relationships and being given up on and hurt or even given the short end of the stick.
I’m just seeking for a husband now & pray to the lord he prepares me.
at this time in your life, as a growing young lady...enjoy your freedom. Get yourself established (education wise) learning who you are, learning who God is. Give Him your heart, time and treasure. Allow Him to prepare you, because you honestly have NO idea what marriage is all about. Even once you are married, make sure y'all give your union to God.

Anything is possible with God. You just have to trust and let him do the rest. Just make sure you are living according to his will and you’ll be taken care of.

As a woman of God who have been celibate for many years and waiting on my husband whom God has told me years ago that he- my husband-to-be was already prepared for me but that the Lord had to prepare me for him, I am so very grateful for this kind of teaching. Bless you for posting this!

I am 36 this year and I never had a boyfriend and yes i am not ashamed to say it, I want to save myself for the One God has sat aside for me, i know my time is running out, i love children and i always wanted to have a big family and God knows that too, I belive God made a half for everyone, and is not allway easy to finde the right One, people are rushing into marriages for the wrong reasons and that is precisely what I don't want to do. So since I am a Lady I wish all singal guys out there to be first of all Faitfull to God, and look about, SHE is there some where wainting for you to make the first step, be confidant and shure that she is the One for you and there is nothing that will stand in your way. I live ALL the way in Texas but I want to join this church. When I'm studying I listen to Pastor Jenkins. All day long I'm listening to Pastor Jenkins and others, but I LISTEN to Pastor Jenkins. I wrote a paper for class based off of one of the sermon's here on you tube. Titus Chapter 2 vs. 1-5 titled, "Are You A Godly Woman". My paper was on the Chapter 2 vs. 1-15. Thank you for the message Pastor Jenkins.
I do believe we need to hear this... and, there is no perfect mate. Be led by God and as you keep your eyes on Him and live it out according to His Word... it works out. I learned... I still had a lot of growing, he had a lot of growing .... and God helps us... we are going from faith to faith, strength to strength and glory to glory. Believers want to keep Jesus foremost in your communication, conversation, and lifestyle. Prepare as a single, attend marriage workshops, read solid marriage books e.g. Gary Smalley is excellent. I met my husband when he was unsaved... we were in the Bible, his visits were not long .... and he was doing what he does...we periodically, communicated....conversation had a whole lot of Jesus in it. It took him nine years.... and, like I shared on another post.... God confirmed and - NOW :-)) we are happily married it will be 17 years, Hallelujah!

My mom didn’t want me to marry my exhusband. I wish I had listened. I asked her why she didn’t say anything and she said “because I wouldn’t have listened.” I agree with pastor whole heartedly. I wouldn’t have an ex if I would have talked to my mom.
Not all parents want the best for their children.
So true ... my mom and dad are narcissistic abusers and living in sin. I went no contact around the time I recommitted my life to Christ and so when I listened to that part it grieves me that I don’t have the kind of parents I could go to and ask for biblical advice or to get a blessing for a potential mate but God reminded me that He is my Heavenly Father and I can always go to him and ask if a man is for me to bless it and if not to block it 🙏 he doesn’t mind if we lay a fleece before him like Gideon in the Bible ❤️
That’s true but Like the pastor said, you still have to follow and obey God’s words written in the Bible not create your own ideas and make excuses. Just do God’s will and God will take care of the rest.

I know sexual immortality meant formication or adultery the reason men can divorce their wives. My first husband and I are divorced but he never saw looking at another man the wrong way. I thank the lord for giving me spiritual insight into why we aren't to be divorced. Wow what revelation this sermon is.

It's extremely hard to follow and desire to stay with my husband when he's no longer putting God 1st. Its making it complicated for me to follow him. Just like it would be hard for my children to follow me if I'm not following Christ.
As long as you’re living according to God’s will, God will take care of you. Keep praying for your husband.
I am praying for you, please pray for me. I am going through the same thing. The same words you wrote, I feel the same way and those are the words of our flesh. We are fighting a spiritual battle and when we get into the word of God, his words instruct us to do something different. Pray and if you have an Amazon book. Get some on praying on specific topics in your marriage by Dr. D. K. Olukoya. Some of his books are listed in his full name Dr. Daniel Olukoya. I know it’s hard.

Every major decision this man has man his parents have been involved??? That statement says a lot about this man. Men, seek out the counsel of the ones that know you best but at the end of the day. Stand up in your own discernment. Every decision shouldn’t be predicated on the opinions of your Moma and daddy.
