    Nice, but would of liked to hear what things were and what they did.

      Sorry, if you watch the video from a computer you can see the tags (cards) describing each of the components. For whatever reason, RUclips does not display these when watching from a cellphone or tablet.

      Thanks for letting know about youtube not showing properly on phone/tablet.Lots better on PC :)

    I never forget the thrill and the excitement of the first remote controlled launching.Sabertooth doesn't require all other stuff like arduino.

    This a great looking chassis!
    How did you mount the hub onto the motor shaft?
    Also how did you ensure a true center when drilling the holes in the wheel for the hub?

    I’m going to check out your other videos. I’m a dwarf, 3 ft and sick of using big wheelchairs. I want to build something portable and as light as possible. Thinking hub motors and arduino. I would love Bluetooth/WiFi enabled. I need your knowledge lol

      Kevin Gulling Yes, there is. Search my other videos, I believe there are at least two others.

      fcord23 Ha! If the design looks familiar, it's because I watched your video a dozen times! If you look at some of my other videos you can see where I placed a metal detector on it. It uses a cellphone app for control via Bluetooth. I'm considering using it as a remote control lawnmower.

    How many amps is the Sabertooth controller? Full 25 amps or 25 amps peak?

    • @EZtech
      @EZtech  6 лет назад

      BushPilot444 This is the cheap one $80, it is 12 amp with 25 amp peak. Just enough to handle this robot on a flat surface.

      Dave Parker It's a sabertooth 2x12 dimension engineering motor controller, thanks for watching I have other videos with this setup. check them out. here is a link to the website. www.dimensionengineering.com/products/sabertooth2x12

      EZtech thanks for the reply. What type of batteries are you using there

    • @EZtech
      @EZtech  7 лет назад

      Dave Parker there are two 12volt batteries, I believe they are around 10 amps each.

    Hi! I've been searching high and low for a way to use a Bluetooth module through arduino to control a sabertooth driver! Do you have any of this available through an instructable, or could you email me some schematics, or code, or advice, or pretty much anything? Please let me know!

    • @EZtech

      Kenneth Livingston check out my other videos about controlling a robot via Bluetooth, I plan to add to this series when time allows this fall and winter. Thanks for watching.

      alejandro bailon Check out my recent video "How to build a GPS guided robot" just starting on the videos and an Instructable, I'm slowly making videos and will publish the code soon after I have cleaned it up a little more.

      I already checked it out, but there you are using the adafruit shield so the code is different. I also have the sabertooth 2x12 and i am using a pair of wheelchair motors for my proyect too, but i only need the bluetooth control on the smartphone and i dont know almost anything about coding. So, if you or anyone else could help me with that then i would credit you and really, really thank you

      Seven Sevens My intention is to use it as a Bluetooth controlled lawnmower, haven't worked on it for a while, reworking the code and changing drivers to make the code run faster and be more accurate.

      Hhhmm, not much room for a lawnmower.
