- 6 month update... PART 2!
First part is here: • MONTH 6 after FUE Hair...
In this video, I give an honest review of my hair transplant results so far. I had 2300 grafts at the front and 1200 grafts on my crown, performed at Elithair in Turkey.

Seriously buddy.. Looks fantastic.....very honest and realistic advice.... And lol I won't take a picture of Elvis when I get to Turkey.....
Looks really natural, healthy and thick. Great review too. Nice and honest. Keep them coming and ignore the haters 😎
Looks fantastic mate. Chuffed for you! Very natural and can't tell you've had anything done.
Wouldn’t matter though if you could tell would it. HT are nothing to be ashamed of whatsoever
@@Fd20y not at all. I've told everyone I know that I've had one done, everyone is always interested in hearing more about it. But of course the aim is to have it as natural as possible.
Looks brilliant! Especially the crown, I’m hoping to go backend of the year (lockdown depending) and want to get both crown and front hairline done also. Read so many reviews how transplants ‘don’t work’ on the crown. Which has put me off for a few years now. But your results have eased them doubts. So thank you! Great vid also mate 👍🏼
Yeah I was in the same boat. Even the doctor couldn’t guarantee that the crown would be perfect but I thought it was worth a try. I would love to know just how much the Regain and Finasteride has helped to be honest. My original quote was for 2000 grafts and in the end I’ve had 3500; the price difference was only €300 so while I was there I thought it was worth doing. And so far so good 👍🏻 Glad you’re finding the videos useful pal 👌🏻
@@HairlineConfessions you’ve kind of just answered my next question! Was going to ask how much you’d thought the finasteride and regain had helped. Again you read about all the possible side effects, good to hear so far you don’t seem to have noticed any. Glad it’s all working for you, similarly I’m also 31 and noticed my hair loss about 6 years ago! So you’ve gave me hope lol
My advice to you would be to start Finasteride now and see if it makes a difference. I never did. I had tried Regain but probably didn’t give it long enough and also stopped suddenly, which I’ve since learnt can cause shedding. So when I stop using it this time (at 12 months) I’ll have made sure to ease it out.
Hairline is perfect especially as you age
Wow! Looks amazing! I’m on day 11 and can’t wait!!!
Great results...im amazed tbh. If balding still continues do you lose the new hair or the hair around it...or can they tell what hair you will lose in the future and transplant hair to that area too
The new hair won’t fall out. That’s there for life now. But “original” hair, say in the middle section, could recede. But I’m hoping with the Finasteride that won’t happen 👍🏻
Top videos mate. How was the payment made for yourself? Do they only deal with cash or card?
Cheers mate 👍🏻 You can pay cash or card while you’re there, or a bank transfer in advance. I sent them some money in advance and used a site called Transferwise to do so: transferwise.com/invite/u/martinl1321
Then paid the rest in cash (Euros). All they need to reserve your surgery is your flight confirmation. Pretty sure all clinics work the same. I just didn’t want to take loads and loads of cash with me.
it looks already 80% of your overall progress ... 🔥
Amazing, hoping to go later this year.
Have you been sticking with finasteride?
Yeah, still taking it daily. Will be something I’m on for the next 15 years at least I reckon.
@@HairlineConfessions Did Elit explain to you that they'll use single grafts for the frontal hairline then gradually blend into multi-grafts? :)
Booked with them for late June. Also, how is the texture of your implanted hair? I hear from a lot of others that the texture is different that your natural hair. Thanks!
@@ZeoWorks It all feels the same to me pal! I think I was so chilled going into the procedure that I didn’t ask too many questions... 😂🙈 I’m sure all clinics aim to put singles on the hairline but it’s quite easy for multiple hairs to be placed from what I’ve read. I think people chase perfection but I’m just happy that it’s a massive improvement from what it was. How did you hear about Elit by the way?
@@HairlineConfessions Thanks for the info!
I watched HairFolliceFreedom last year and followed his progress, it was terrific. :)
Your progress has also given me hope. Looking forward to going over! Getting 3500 grafts like yourself.
@@ZeoWorks I first saw MattDominance’s channel and then I found FollicleFreedom. His channel is great and definitely confirmed my decision to go there. Weird that he just stopped posting at 11 months; hope he’s alright... Check out HairWolf too. Think he’ll be at around a year now.
If you go for a second HT - Make sure you don’t include hotel and transport.
They overcharge for that and easy to book on Agoda and get a meter taxi from the airport. Got mine down from £1,500 to £1,100 by asking them to remove transport/accommodation costs 👍🏻
What about all the times they pick you up from your hotel and take you to the clinic? (Consulation, procedure, head wash)
@@ua1514 All the times? Lol
I only went to the clinic once. Hotel - Procedure - Hotel - Home. Consultation and hairline drawn on and then straight to the operating room.
Didn’t go back to get my hair washed. Anyway, taxis cost nothing in Turkey, are safe and Covid compliant
@@DTJ2024 You never went back for a post-op consultation? I literally went back twice. Next day is the standard post-op consultation that everyone gets. I thought every clinic did that. I decided to stay an extra night to get the first hair wash the morning after that as well. On my cost breakdown it was only €150 for the accommodation and transfers, which I would say was totally worth it. You did very well to get so much off yours pal 👍🏻
@@HairlineConfessions Yes I did, I completely forgot lol. Even now I’m struggling to remember what they did and it was only in November 😂
@@HairlineConfessions I had travel vouchers from work so didn’t pay for my flights, and booked hotel La Piano on Agoda which was fine. Taxi did rip me off on the way back to the airport from my hotel though. Agreed a price beforehand on card as I didn’t want to withdraw anymore cash and get charged. Then he charged me for the toll and using the card reader in his cab...
Couldn’t be bothered to argue so I just let it go. I’m back there soon for another op so lesson learned I guess 🤷🏻♂️
Looks good mate!
3 weeks until D or H day.
15k in Australia 🤬
3500 grafts, I have similar loss like you.
12 months on Finasteride
Now on Dutasteride
Great information thanks
Isn’t dustasteride for prostate issues 5mg?
Try a messy crop at the front mate brush it forward make a messy fringe. Would be really interested to see that
Crown is amazing!
you now remind me of lance heart amazing
Who? 😂
u have awsome result,, buddy,, 6 months nothing full result is after 1 year so u will have awsome results
Looking great man:) i hope i get the same result
What shampoo are you using or did they recommend you a specific one?
They didn’t recommend one. Check out the other video in the description as I go through it at in that one. You’ll see the timings in the description so you can skip straight to it 👍🏻
Tried taking fin. Sounds g4y but I've been getting weird pulses in my bottom area. Almost painful ish. I've stopped now. I can't see this side effect anywhere online. Bit worrying.
Wow, sorry to hear that pal. How soon into taking it did you experience that? I had a little rash on my chest a few days in but that cleared up soon after.
@@HairlineConfessions about a week. Today is day 2 without and its better. Its like a headache down below. Not painful really. Just very annoying.
Please make more hair videos!! :)
I want it done , but can't because of lockdown,,,,, or can I ?
I think international travel is banned at the moment, unless it’s for work or something like that. But there’s no harm in getting the ball rolling with a clinic. Are you thinking of using the clinic I went to? The link is in the description. Worth sending your pictures in and seeing if you get good vibes from them pal 👍🏻
Thanks for reply, yeh thinking of going where you went , not sure yet,
It's more expensive in the uk so it's looking like turkey,,,,,,,,
Peace
When you doing your next update show it grown long on top?
It’ll be 8 months in a couple of weeks, so I’ll do another vid then. Not sure how long you’re expecting it to be though pal; it’s nowhere near as long as Karius 😂
Which month did you see a big difference in growth ?
I’d say month 4 to 5 was the biggest change in terms of thickness. But obviously as more time goes by my hair is getting longer anyway (as in the original hair) so it looks a lot thicker because of that. So the longer I grow my hair, the thicker it’ll look.
@@HairlineConfessions cool. In person would you say the hairline looks natural ?
It definitely does on cam but in person does it ?
@@christianbogle4736 I would definitely say so, yeah. I have a few “baby hairs” at the front in the middle that the new hair still doesn’t come all the way up to, so I’d say that adds to the natural look too (if that makes sense).
@@HairlineConfessions great glad to hear :)
Lol I think your doner area looks great you can get few more transplants
Those are great comments this procedure gives u pretty much what u had before so if so If u didn’t have hair like Elvis before ht u won’t have hair like Elvis after also have looked up fue time line mr hairlubrious had the chart at 6 months u only 50% of your result and healing from the extractions
How much was it mate?
€2150. That included hotel and transfers.

Add me on Instagram so I can message you
elliothamilton_ so I can message you, the results are amazing
@@HairlineConfessions that’s a great cost!
Did you feel pain?
During the procedure I did, yes. Check out my first video and skip along to after I’ve had it done as I go into detail on that. The last 3 hours or so (implantation stage) of the procedure were the worst for me.
@@HairlineConfessions I'm going to do my hair transplant at ElitHair as well, next month. My case is similar to yours, except the crown. Price will be 2.000. I hope it will be ok and not too suffering! (:
@@HairlineConfessions thanks for sharing your experience.
@@HairlineConfessions Hi again. I just did my transplant and it did hurt a lot, but only during the injections of anesthesia. In the donor area were so many injections, that I lost the count, I think it was like 15-30 minutes injecting, one of the worst pains of my life. But then, to extract the hairs, was no pain. After that, the injections of anesthesia in the receiving area was also painful, but thanks God, faster, like less than 2 minutes injecting, maybe 20 injections more or less, which in the donor area were around 100 needles! The implantation was also without pain, only some times a little pain. Now I'm back home, and above all this suffering related, I am satisfied and believing to achieve great results like you did!
Looks good lad, lay off the coffee 😁
I bet you don’t have to worry about the wind blowing on your hairline now lol but yh having a curved hairline is better for the natural look, a lower straight hairline would look stupid.
