So, a few days ago, I discovered your channel and found myself bingeing about 5 of your videos in a row. You so inspired me, I ended the day by taking out many articles of clothing from my closet and throwing things together that I never previously would have thought would go! Then, the next day my daughter and I went thrifting (as we have been doing for decades), and I swear, Diana, you have opened up my eyes, because I found a whole bunch of things I would never have even looked at before! Not only that, but when I got them home, I immediately began styling them with the few scarves (sadly, very few silk ones) and jackets and other pieces I own, and I had a blast! I'm 78 and sad that it took me this long to fully enjoy clothes, but better late than never! Love, love, love your channel; you are amazing.
Oh, man, this just made my day. I'm 58 and have been feeling like I needed something different in my wardrobe. Love it, that at 78, you're finding this. Better late than never! I live in Costa Rica, a transplant from Portland, Oregon four years ago. The first year, I couldn't find a thrift store. I mentioned it to a Costa Rican friend and she said, "Oh, here they are called "Americanas" Funny! Next time I go, I'll be looking for STATEMENT pieces and some basics as well. Good luck thrifting, jjsquad!
Fantastic! Every combination totally looks out of the streets of Paris ❤ so lovely, thank you for sharing your charm & creativity (I love e scarfs too🥰)
Ditch those ugly pants at the beginning of the video. Vests are plain, never wear them. It is Summer, girlie, put sone colours and no scarf. Looks like a bag lady.
Hi Diana, just stumbled onto your channel and enjoying so much! I have a closet full of clothes that I only bern wearing a few of - youve inspired me to kick it up a notch and have fun with it. Thank you, and keep up the great work, the world needs to look better, feel better, and give off good vibes to others. ❤
I love your videos, your funny, I love your crooked smile, you inspire me to go more French and I love that a capsule wardrobe will fit in one suitcase and fly me back to Paris! Yay

I really like her mouth as well. It keeps me focused on what she's saying, in a way, too :) She is just a very beautiful woman. The way her mouth moves when she talks is (I don't want to be in trouble to being weird or anything, so I hope I am not misunderstood) ..but it is sexy. Ok. There was a rap artist called "Fabulous" (90s), and he had a chipped front tooth. I thought it was very sexy. He later "fixed" it, and 'the magic' was gone; he became 'just another dude'. Hope this made sense. ❤Her, ❤the chanel, ❤ the comments. Mia
Amazing complete weardrobe!!! Nothing on that selection I don't like. Hard to imagine all of that in one place. If I am really lucky I might walk out of a thrift store with 6 or so things.
Just found your channel and I love your style. I'm much older than you (72) and would love to see if you have any ideas for my age. Can you come shopping with me...😂 ?
I agree with valiaudet! Anything she showed can be worn by women of any age. It’s all about the confidence. Who cares if our bodies aren’t smooth and Barbie doll-like? It’s not like we’re out to seduce the guys now that we’re in our 70s! 😅 Plus, the scarves and cardigans can camouflage a lot of imperfections. Edit: just subscribed! ❤
Right! There's no age limit on clothes, only comfort levels and everyone's comfort level is different! I mostly only style a short skirt or shorts to encourage older women to try it. I'm 47 and a lot of my friends my age don't do it for many reasons: cellulite, spider veins, out of shape, but some of them just don't do it because they think they shouldn't. I'm just trying to get our heads out of that type of thinking for older gals. If you've watched my French Girl Style Principles video, there are so many principles in there that you can adopt at any age for any comfort level. I wish I could come shopping with all of you!
I would love to see how you tie those scarves in the back. Especially the scarves that look like chokers. I have a lot of thrifted silk scarves too and love to see your use of them.
Thanks so much! I am actually very excited about how well these pieces mix and match. I've never really dressed in a "capsule wardrobe" kind of way but I see the benefits of it. It's really easy to get dressed well for many occasions.
