  • Preventing infection in your tattoo is crucial and should be taken seriously. When it comes to tattoo infections, there are two primary factors to consider. The first factor is the hygiene practices of your tattoo artist. If your artist has poor hygiene or works in a non-sterile environment, it increases the risk of infection. The second factor is your aftercare routine. Neglecting proper aftercare or failing to follow one at all can also lead to infection. In this video, Rasmus covers everything you need to know about tattoo infections, including early signs to watch out for, how to address them if they occur, and essential tips for avoiding infections altogether. Stay informed to keep your tattoo healthy and beautiful.

The only thing I can think of with my infection... A quick break happened including a restroom break. I wasn't covered.😢😢😢

Are overworked areas, too deep etc, more likely to get infected? In my past couple pieces, only where its been overworked and chewed up has it gotten red and infected just in those spots.

That is a really good question - and yes in general, areas that are overworked, irritated, or damaged are more susceptible to infection.

I just had a small blister on my new tattoo. The whole thing doesn't feel red or look infected though. Should I be worried?
