Nothing beats an 80's early 90's action movie
For sure these days they force females to take lead roles for the sake of butchering their plot (Terminator Dark Fate). In comparison look at Double Impact, that blonde chick.. wohooo..
@@islandcactus1508 feminism is ruining the world
You right but movies from them times are just classics nothing beats that nostalgic feeling makes you want to be there!
did you ever watch Clint Eastwood's movies?
Thats right babyy
Growing us as a young teen in the early 90's, Van Damme was my inspiration to lift weights and do awesome kicks. No internet, just VHS tapes and a huge imagination.
very true. No other generation would understand.
Tot agree with you I loved watching bloodsport kickboxer and AWOL early nineties where class 👍 I try his round house kick end up busting my back as a kid lol
Tweekend27: If you are ever attacked by an imaginary opponent, you'll be well-prepared.
After watching timecop, he was my inspiration to jump off my moms roof and into a time portal. I didn't quite think it out.
Cyborg and Bloodsport👍
I watched Bloodsport so much that the VHS tapes stopped working.
me it was lionheart and kickboxer ^^
DaxamusPrime That’s cause you jizzed all over it. Infatuation with Hollyjoo pretty boy martial artists aren’t ya?!
LOL😊
@leila lalala lol dont get angry for that , even Daxamus did not waste time on him . in fact Scarletball said that to see if he could find somebody like him that jizz all over it. Infatuate with hollyjoo pretty boy martial artists.....it was strategic because as he stand alone with his fantasies he feel lonely.....
He speak francis
This guy is the only celebrity who actually communicates with his fans real humble down to earth
And Sly Stallone
right in other words he's not a Dick, yeah OL vanDamme is a very cool Gent
He comes across as being a very genuine person and very down to earth...
Bloodsport, universal soldier, hard target, timecop, double impact, kickboxer, nowhere to run and cyborg!! 🔥🔥🔥
did you know "cyborg" was meant to be a sequel to He-Man and the Masters of the universe? it got so skewed it turned into Cyborg.
I wanted to know more but unfortunately, 8 minutes isn't enough to ask a million questions.
All the greats you just mentioned ;)

This guy is beloved, he needs a good role and a big movie to give the fans an opportunity to show their love
100% agree he has a big fanbase I'm suprised he doesn't get more love in Hollywood like the other old timer action stars do, he does come out with a great movie every now and then like JCVD or Expendables 2 and even had his own tv show on amazon prime but sadly it didn't get picked up for a second season. would be nice if he could get himself into a big Hollywood production again .We Die Young had some buzz did also those kickboxer remakes weren't too shabby .But it would be nice if he could get a nice solid role in a big blockbuster action movie becuase the guy totally deserves it , He has worked hard all his life and his love for cinema runs deep I was a big fan of him growing up and I still am man JCVD forever!!!!!
@@jasonarnold9864 :) God bless you. God bless Van Damme.
I have always thought that Van Damme would do a better job in those action films starred by Steven Seagal and Bruce Willis

So many memories of being a kid in the 90’s. Very special dude.
the interviewer is a good example of how to talk to celebraties, good work mate
yeah there is too many awkward interviewers who screw it up.. why i dont know
nadz yea Yeah great interviewer respectful and good willed
JCVD also liked him
I think he is to hyperactive, but the questions are good.
He keeps it simple, professional, and fun- just like it should always be!
An interview with JCVD is so great to watch, not arrogant at all like Steven Seagal!
Genius Marc Says
A fucking wifebeater
It's not even worth comparing these two. Van Damme is a legend who actually enjoys his life. Seagal is no talent piece of shit always hating other people cause he knows he sucks. Probably the most insecure "actor" in hollywood ever.
Yes very chill more articulate than i expected from someone known for physical
YES! Holy Shit I was thinking the same thing! I was just watching some Steven Seagal interviews before this and he was so damn arrogant and a huge asshole insulting JCVD and Chuck Norris and other martial artists. I thought martial artists are support to respect other martial artists. Seagal is a d-bag when interviewing. I like his acting but he's not the best that he thinks he is.
Yeah, he actually has self-awareness and seems to have matured over the years (including poking fun at himself in that Netflix series).
He's a hero to for one big reason which isn't mentioned alot,he rescues dogs from all over the world has done for along time, what a wonderful man.
from the chinese
OMG! I just checked this was various other sources and I learned something else cool about this guy!! The fact I had to dig a little to find this out means JCVD also is pretty modest about it as well, very classy in my opinion!
Had no idea. Thank you!
I think Mickey rourke does it too. I know hes done it in Romania.
And Brad Pitt. In fact he came to Argentina in 1997 while filming some scenes for Seven Years in Tibet and several people were talking about his love for dogs, he rescued dogs from the streets he fed them took care of them and finally he gave them for adoption to fans. It is said he kept some of these dogs as well lol. True story.
One of the best martial artists, blood sport and kickboxer blew my mind as a kid, I’m 43 now and still watch these classic films, Jean is such an inspiration, one of the reasons why I practiced martial arts, utmost respect love and peace to you master van damme
Exactly.....you wrote what I wanted to write. Now I dont need too👍
He was PERFECT in Expendables 2 as the villain!
Don't forget about double impact that was a hell of a movie 2
I still say that nothing beats his performance in No Retreat No Surrender. Character. Intensity. Unsurpassed delivery of dialogue! It was always going to be downhill from there.
"I want my money's worth!"

I never watch these hollywood/entertainment channels, but for Jean-Claude I make the exception.
Me neither but those Roundtable videos are really interesting.
simply because he is not the usual mainstream polished moron... he is raw, wysiwyg type of guy.
He seems like a very down to earth, nice guy and appreciative of the the opportunities and success he's enjoyed. He is blessed with good genetics and had the discipline to do the hard work to make the most of his natural talents and abilities.
Aside from being a top 90s action star, Jean-Claude is a very compassionate human being. All he wants is help people live their best life, and he's also a huge animal lover.

Yeah he really let Jean tell the story.
Yeah, agreed, he let him talk and didn't try to get too clever.
Dude asked the right questions for sure.
Van Damme seems like he's a pretty humble, sweet guy.
Jeffrey P Yh its a shame he aged so horriby because of drugs he would look much younger if he hadnt used stuff like that
@deenman23 , Arnold and Van Damme were the few exceptions where my generally intolerant country of the US, did not care about accents and were impressed by said actors sheer talent and charisma. Hell! Arnold was even Governor of my home state of California and didn't do too horrible a job, aside from allowing parents to not vaccinate their children, he treated our Vets really good and did a lot to help promote and honor them. Comparing these two guys to prostitutes is an injustice. They came to the US with virtually nothing and became icons, who were adopted by the US and became as "American as apple pie". I could give a shit if they have accents, it does not diminish their achievements in film, athletics and politics.
Jeffrey P I’ve heard that about him in the past
from my understanding van damme was only into drugs for a short time, i dont think that has much to do with his aging, much more likely to be genetics....
maybe it's just his personality but the way Van Damme's mannerisms and talkative nature... it seems like he's experiencing a little more euphoria here than someone on a base level or sober. Of course, Van Damme probably just really loves the spotlight and enjoys conversation and is very hyperactive when these moments arise. So it can simply be his nature... but this is also how it is when you're high on something like coke or even alcohol.

Finally someone asked Van Damme about Johnny Cage. Johnny Cage has always been my favorite MK character, ever since I was a kid.
I always picked him because he reminded me of Van Damme. Van Damme is my favorite martial arts actor, ever since I saw Bloodsport when I was a very young child.
Many people got into martial arts because of Bruce Lee, but for me I had started the martial arts after watching Van Damme movies specifically Bloodsport.
