Flight Training 5

5th training flight lasting 1.4 Hrs. Big focus on transitioning through ETL, pattern work, and using the comms. I also worked my first .3 Hr of night ops. The more I don't have to focus on hovering, the more workload that is given to me...subsequently turning my brain into mush. Total Hours at end of flight: 5.9

Thanks for the kind words. I'm still working on my license right now. I'm at 30-ish hours. All solo and X-country work is done. Just a little night work and my checkride is all I have left to do. I got the helmet when i first started training. I love it, but I have switched over to Bose headset recently. I still wear the helmet from time to time, but it's a tight fit for me in that 22 with the helmet on...maybe when I transition to a larger ship I'll start wearing it exclusively again.

Your radio calls are great, I assume you are already a pilot at this point? Also, I think the helmet is a great idea. Do you wear it much? As a transitioning military pilot I find it strange not to wear one...
