INFO: This was a one off free open day to the public. I've been told it's now closed until the official open day. The official SkyWalk open day is February 1st. The entry fee will be 40 Baht.

I done the sky bar in hua Hin with the glass walking platform. Done it at night walked out onto it taking pigeon steps with jelly legs looked behind me and there was a 3 year old toddler in her nappy on her hands and knees loving it and showing me right up 😂😂😂😂
That's the one I done in Hua Hin also. It was super windy when I was there, much higher than this one also. Funny how kids don't have ant fear. 🤣

My palms were sweating watching you walking onto the S/Walk, its like Vertigo kicks in and i start wobbling. Great View though. I see the Thai PM is really trying to get the air quality improved but next door countries burn off heaps, Satellite fire map website highlights hot spots.
I think it was probably me wobbling mate, and the the skywalk. I hate anything like this. Yes, the weather is good here at the minute, but the bad stuff is coming. Seems like down south have it bad at the minute. Cheers mate.

He’s back in Chiangmai - Gee that’s a massive area starting with the sleeping Buddha - looks like it will be a great attraction even though it’s a bit out of the way lol - You did very well on the skywalk mate , would certainly be a bit freaky - Nice work mate 👌👋👍😃🙏
I had a great time here, the temple was the real highlight (and I normally don't say that about temples). The skywalk will be a great tourists spot, lot's of people will be going to this. Thanks Ant.

I don't like seeing too many tourists, keep searching and you'll eventually find a town where you're the only one and everyone will be staring at you with an open mouth, how cool would that be 😅
Lot's of them small towns around. I do miss the small towns when I come back.

I was at the Bangkok skywalk last month and that is really tall building.
I really want to try and do that one.

Have you not been up to the viewing platform of the Mahanakhon Tower in Bangkok? Mate it's awesome, I went up a couple of years ago, looking straight down through the glass floor at that height is quite an experience. This time next week I'll be arriving in Bangkok on a one-way ticket and will be in no hurry to return to England.
I've never been to the Bangkok one mate. I went to one in Hua Hin and that was high enough 🤣. This one in Chiang Mai isn't that high but still a nasty drop. I remember when I was buying the one way ticket, best thing I ever did. Hope it all goes well buddy.

Chiang Mai is ok at the minute. I've heard it's shocking down south. I'm sure it will be in Chiang Mai very soon.

Yes, I didn’t see any Farangs in this video. In videos that I watch from Pattaya, it seems as though Pattaya consists close to 100% Farang males over 50 years old and the women are almost all Thai under 30 years old. Lol!

Just so you know Wayne it isn't sleeping Buddha it's Lying Buddha, Buddha spke of 4 postures for meditation, sitting, lying, standing, walking.
Basically meditate 24/7 😊

I was there about 10 days ago, they were just putting the glass down. You can drive up to the top save you the walk. The new temple you looked in , in the centre there are some footprints in stone from some special monk. Not sure how he made them though lol.

Allegedly the footprints of Buddha himself 😂, I was there 2 months ago
I was also there about a month or two ago they didn’t have half the skywalk made a lot of parts laying around. It was done so fast .. that and the Buddha footprint was covered for protection as they were doin get remodeling inside.
Its all new Wayne the dome has a Buddha footprint in the centre of the hall its been built over thelast five years and its along way from finished, great coffee shop and food outlet where you parked your bike also green tea at 25 bHt

Wayne Skywalker, may the force be with you. My wife's anxiety would go through the roof if she went on that. Don't think I would have a problem, but I must admit that l think my heart beat picked up a bit watching you walking on there. Was the glass hot to walk on?
I was feeling a bit dizzy, it wasn't the best experience. The glass was warm. I'm sure they have used some sort of glass that helps with the heat. Thanks

Heights have never been an issue with me. I climbed the leg of a trestle bridge when I was 12. It was 55 metres high (180 feet) Funny thing is though my most frightening, recurring dream is me falling from a great height. Spent the day today in hospital. I have shingles. Quite painful. Stop waffling Paul LOL.
I wish I could handle heights like that. Hope you are ok Paul and hope the shingles get better.
Cant even watch other people do it. My feet get a tingle. So a real fear of heights. But what if Wayne passed out on the glass and i needed to rescue him. Well...uh...

@@OregonSteve You might need to stay to the hard left on some roads, but no, never any problems. I've been all over the north on a 125cc. Thousands of people do also. A 155cc or higher would be better, but no problems on a 125. That's alone though, would be a different story with a passenger . 👍
