I am 18 and in college, and this makes me feel regret for the childhood I let slip by, and all the friends I have left behind as we all went our separate ways. Kids, you will always tell yourself and parents that you just can't wait to grow up. It isn't until you grow up that you realize how wrong you are. So be adventurous, and just have fun, free of stress of future careers and bills that will need paid off. If I didn't have Disney in my early life, I don't know what I would have done.
I am 18 years old, and I think Phil Collins is amazing. This song always makes me feel good, in a way that many songs don't! It makes me feel loved! Just because something is old does not make it bad!
Phil Collins didn’t have to go THIS hard in Tarzan, but he did for us

This was my little brothers favorite movie when he died at the age of 4 from a farm accident my parents had them play this song. What I remember the most was everyone was crying, of course it might not have happened that way but thats how I remember it. Now every time I hear I have to leave the room so people that dont know don't wonder why this army guy is crying over a phil song

I met a girl of my dream.. but I'm not the kind of guy who like to ask her to be 'mine' directly. Our friendship grew stronger as day passes by. Then truth be told, one day she asked to dedicate a song to her. I dedicated few songs but she asked for more.. But when I dedicate this song, she cried & hugged me. She knows what's inside my heart & She said yes without me saying "I love you" directly.
My nan loves the film and the song. She used to sing it all the time when I was little; it drove me bonkers. But as I snooping in my mum's stuff the other day, I found a Phil Collins CD which had You'll be in my Heart on it. I've been listening to it ever since.
This song means so much to me.... When I heard this for the 1st time, I was in the cinema watching the film with my father. Unfortunately he is not with me to this day to listen to this, however when I hear this song I think of him and know that no matter what I did when I was a child and vice versa, we will be in each others heart for the rest of our lives.
I was at the library with my gf today and i found this book of 100 years of music 1900-1999. this was in the back of the book and to my self i started to sing and i had to look this up now im trying to learn it on guitar for my girl :)

When I was a little girl my mom would sing this to me before I went to sleep every night. The other day she asked if I remember it so she sang it again, I started to cry when I heard her sing it and now I always listen to this because I know my mom means the words she sang to me and I know she'll be here for me always.

Usually I prefer the movie version of songs I love from Disney movies, but this is one of the only exceptions, if not the only exception. It helps it's the same singer I'm sure, but it's rare I love the radio version so much.

This song effects me. I love my son a lot. He's 27 with PTSD. He has depression off and on. He's attempted suicide several times. He's taking medication from a psychiatrist. You're right, I have unconditional love for my son. The peer pressure is tremendous.
