I'd love to see that series Plunder. Too many people think there's only 1 way/ 1 meta for grand masters and high end content. We need more people like you in the community showing people thats there's more than 1 way to play. 🎉❤
As long as guardians understand their build and know how it works, I totally agree! I danced around that boss room pretty effortlessly even with a teammate dead and another in the cheese spot😊
Viability and meta are two different things. Meta means most *effective* tactic available. The issue is, just because it isn’t meta. Doesn’t mean it isn’t good. Usually metas tend to be strict as it is always the most effective. However, people should understand that it’s ok to run off meta stuff, more so if you have fun and it’s effective.
@Black2overlord Exactly, something that's off meta can be something that does like 15% less DPS but has higher survivability. In my opinion theres always more than 1 meta, because different situations call for different things but even then I've seen people run pretty silly builds and still solo high end content. Going off meta can be really fun.
Oh hey! That’s me! I’m the one that got hard carried! lol this was my first GM ever!!! Thanks for this carry so much! I actually got 2 Undercurrent (adept) GL’s!! Now I’m subscribed!! Great content!!

I would really enjoy more videos like this. A lot of build crafters only post videos that excel in solo content. A lot of those builds struggle a bit in team content because they never get into the required pattern of kills, orbs etc. this showcases a great and useful build that can work and carry in a team environment. Keep up the good work!
There’s absolutely a place for a Will it Carry series from you! Mactics has Will it Build. Goldexgle has Can it Go Flawless. You’re one of the few build crafters who show builds in actual endgame content. It only makes sense
@@woolife171 I think it’s a cool way for him to connect with his fans base, plus he’s giving the people behind those builds something, but yeah I think only one or two of them are end game viable
Just recently discovered your channel. I'm only a few min in my first video, and I know right off the bat, I'm gonna love your content. I'm 45yrs old and an avid gamer. Although I would absolutely love to go all out with D2, my job and family make doing so almost impossible. I am able to keep myself right at or just below endgame level. I am currently at 1810. I was actually doing pretty good until the chaged up the way you get pinnacles. Now, leveling is extremely hard for me. Raids, dungeons, and other crucial endgame activities are out of grasp. As an EMT I am always on call and work crazy hours. Keeping a clear schedule is hard, so being able to set a side a number of hours to do a raid is impossible as I could easily get a call and have to leave. Legendary lost sectors used to be my only viable for getting good exotics, but now I can't. A few months back, I had to take about 2 months off because of work. When I returned, the pinnacles were changed, and I was 30 levels off where I needed to be for the legendary lost sectors... I haven't been able to get back up to par. These videos... Your videos (and other channels) are helping me get back to where I need to be. I absolutely love Destiny's universe and rich lore. Not being able to experience the best story beats offered in raids and dungeons really sucks. It's not the crazy good gear, titles, badges, or bragging rights that endgame content interests me... It's the story and the experience that I crave. Sure, I can watch the cutscenes and listen to the dialog in RUclips videos, but that's just not the same at all. I tried that, and all it did was make me extremely bitter. Knowing that there are Guardians out there who are willing to help people like me to have and share in those beautiful and exciting moments of Destiny's story really warms a gamers heart. I haven't tried out the new LFG finder yet. I've been scared that I would get kicked or bullied out of the activity due to me being under level and not properly equipped... Now, I just might give it a try. Thanks for the video, and especially thanks for helping out Guardians like myself and other gamers who truly love Destiny and want to experience the endgame, but unfortunately don't have the time to grind out the necessary gear needed to play it... Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!
This is the stuff i like to see something simple that works. GM builds dont need to be over complicated just follow the fundementals to get it done. Dont get me wrong some builds in the game are nuts but only really work in mid to low content. But something like this is fantastic in high end content. Excellent as always.
@@Plunderthabooty definitely! People just can't figure out how to use it. I always tell people you need to use it like a bow or a fusion. You should basically never shoot it tap fire. It should only be shot charged up.
I think my only real gripe is that the tracking rounds hip fire feels so awkward to use especially in comparison how easy and effective Beacon Rounds is (but needs a kill). But besides that this thing does stupid amounts of damage and I think a lot of people have kinda forgot about it. Plus it was in direct competition with Quicksilver Storm during a time when QSS was pretty much the only go-to. Hell even now it kind of is.
It's trash. Can't even shoot it straight enough or long enough to stun a barrier. One shot from wishender stuns any barrier a FULL clip from final warning doesn't stun barriers. Gun in trash
This has been my build all season, solo flawless WR included, but in the energy slot I had Judgment of Kelgorath is wellspring and demo, unlimited dodge and grenade, slow glaive reload negated from demo. The buff this season to glaive projectile speed with JoK being aggressive makes it a beast in gm, one tapping most red bars. You can even match your surge with apex predator.
I’ve been using this almost exact build all season, biggest difference is the weapons. I’ve got an onslaught/ slice IB AR witch allows sever everything each time I drop a decoy. This frees up my exotic slot to equip dragons breath, which pairs so well with the bet blades because you can do all of your boss dps complete safe from damage behind cover. Only other difference is I like rocking dynamo on the helmet because with the decoy you can easily get close to enemies and safely dodge away. This build has such insane survivability with the decoy. I was a gyrfalcon main up until i found this build and decoy > invisible in pve everytime. You essentially turn your whole team invisible from anywhere in the map!
@@woolife171 when it applys sever it also guarantees a maelstrom will be made when you kill that enemy, which I find clutch because you can’t always rely on your Melee in higher level stuff. I've been using a similar build since last season, I'm so happy to see it finally getting real attention from real buildcrafters that can improve it and optimize it in ways I never could.
I was surprised how well this worked on Birthplace of the vile Gm (with ended as primary instead due to unstops.) I never used the the threaded specter aspect before. I didn’t think it’d be that affective. Was trying to think of a strong strand build but too many scarabs for a banner of war titan to really shine. Thanks
I have loved this gun since season of defiance and using it to melt champs in master lost sectors faster than heavy could. It let me get all exotic armors quickly and I haven't stopped using or loving it since. I've had many try telling me to use quicksilver storm over it and how much "better" it is, but I think they just don't like variable trigger sidearms.
Hey plunder, don’t know if you’re going to see this, but an incredibly safe and borderline cheesy way to use it is to charge it so that the red square appears, duck behind a corner and just spam tap fire once charged; this makes it arc aggressively around the corner
No problem 😊 Thank you for taking the time to share and communicating back and forth with that other discord member about the build! Great to see kind people are still out there! 😊
Ive been using this build with Tessellation for a while now. Super underrated build, since the grapple grenade cooldown is short you can use the powered up Tessellation shot often
@@knowwork9 Resilience and Disciple for sure, dump the rest into Mob. I also made the switch from Tessalation to Buried Bloodline (works way better imo)
I've been using the Bombardiers with strand, it still leaves the decoy but now leaves a bomb that severs targets, and once the bomb explodes it blows up the decoy and releases three threadlings.
I have been using almost this same build for a while now but haven't used it with Final Warning much, I will give it a shot. I have been using a Slice + Onslaught Lethal Abundance. When I dodge I will apply sever to enemies with my next shot, then defeating that enemy will create a tangle since it was debuffed, then that tangle becomes a whirling maelstrom. It is pretty solid for tangle generation and crowd control though the damage output could be better. Final Warning puts out damage so worth a try.
Taking the extra time this season to review/update old builds or even creating a 'Making a build for every Exotic' series might be neat. Might find some sleeper builds or the plain goofy. It'd be interesting to see the concessions you need to make just to justify the build as some Exotics are just bad. Could be interesting/different way to play though
I think this works well if going solo but if your fireteam already clearing the adds your decoy pretty much already useless. If you really carrying blueberries and they absolutely can’t even kill red bars then theoretically this build would work.

Been really enjoying Final Warning on my Strand hunter build. I will say I wish the clone didn’t explode when taking damage or targets are near - I wish it purely just drew aggro for a specific length of time. But then it would be useless in PvP 😅. But imagine the Surrounded strats you could employ if that was the case! Wish you could choose to heal the clone - maybe rifts and healing grenades could work on it!

thanks for the build! Going to make it and try it out now. I've been looking for something that works in a group cuz the one I have now is just for solo XD
Honestly think its a good idea to create a series that brings some light to other gm builds. Lost count of the amount of times i saw dawn chorus warlock w/polaris. Dont get me wrong it recks on the adds. But it adds on to how meta based this game has gotten.
I thought the kickstart mods didn't work with abilities that had multiple charges, since they specified that they only refund energy when your charge is "fully expended". And since you technically have a second charge reloading in the back, the game never sees it as fully expended.
Didnt realize the aggro on threaded specter was so strong. I always use my melee to blow them up immediately to kill nearby enemies and unleash some threadlings on them. I run a similar build also with six coyote but with 2 threadling grenades instead and I've always just used it for its huge ad clear and fast ability spamming capabilites. Those threadlings deal a ton of damage so with the fragment of generation you get your grenades back super quick and you make so many orbs due to the huge number of grenades and melees you throw out with gamblers dodge and six coyote. Ive never used it in gms though. Its always been my just for fun build but seeing how you were able to clear a gm so easily while carrying i might give it a shot. I probably will have to swap out my threadling grenades though. Main reason I'd never use it in harder content is due to the lack of built in anti champion abilities.
I just wish the decoys have a 2-3 seconds grace period. Spawning a decoy and have it destroyed 1 second after spawning it because there are more than 3 ads shooting at it just doesn't feel good since you mainly want to use it when there are a lot of ads.
What a great build! Just put it together and I love it!! Thank you for the awesome content you do and the builds you put together, it really makes D2 a lot of fun!
Ok I have to admit this build changed my gameplay I play even better now but I still use Osteo Striga instead of the Final Warning because Osteo Poisonous enemies and i used this gun to defeat Calus & the Tormentor on Lightfall campaign, My Osteo Striga is level 48 now so I should be fine with your build
Perfect way to showcase a build. I can't stand when people create a build and call it "broken" "busted" etc, and then use cheeses and skips. No crap that's easier for farming, but the point of the video was to show the build stands up against difficult content. I've seen so many streamers, in this Nightfall in particular, create a build and skip the tormentor and then fight the boss from the roof.....you don't need a build for that. Polaris lance and 30 minutes is all you need. Great vid Plunder!
It is an option, thing is that Wish Keeper lacks damage, but if you really wanted to use it, swapping shackle nades for threadling nades would let you conserve some of that damage
You know I can't believe that you are using same build that I have been using since the start of the season for endgame activities. This build basically allows you to play aggressively out in the open in gms.
Doesn’t that exotic strand sidearm do bonus bodyshot damage when damaging a targeted enemy but not aiming in? • Why were you aiming in on that final boss if he’s teleporting everywhere with a shield and a very small crit??
What about mechanics sleeves which boost side arms? If you were to run that load out? I know your going for the dodge but does it leave behind 2 decoys? Wouldn't the boots that give you multiple dodges in succession work as well?
I have a couple of similar builds between Sixth Coyote, Assassins Cowl, and Foetracer but all pretty much revolving around this same setup. Though I've been using the new bow a lot more now (4k PvE kills so far) with the fragment to gain class energy on suspended enemy kills but the Final Warning is definitely slept on. It does stupid amounts of damage with it's only downside being maybe the range vs other exotics but with all the Sever and Woven Mail damage reductions and threaded specter you have so many ways to get a bit closer in range and be perfectly fine.
I hope you all had a great Christmas if you celebrate! 😊 Thank you for a great 2023 on the Channel!!!

I ran Celestial Nighthawk with blade barrage last weekend. Carried my team until they left😂
If final warning can sever is gamblers dodge really needed ? Also can frostees be used instead of 6th coyote ?
As usual. A great video. And kudos to the builder
Thanks for that Ghost 🙂
Ok I have to admit this build changed my gameplay I play even better now but I still use Osteo Striga instead of the Final Warning because Osteo Poisonous enemies and i used this gun to defeat Calus & the Tormentor on Lightfall campaign, My Osteo Striga is level 48 now so I should be fine with your build
Love the build! If you do the series you should call it "Backpack Builds" since you're tossing the blueberries right in for a carry :P
This is a great idea! Also, "Can it Carry?" Is a great name.
Nice . Finally a videos without cheesing the boss. very nice
I personally like using the quicksilver storm cause the grenade launcher creates tangles
Weird how my Add clear strand build is posted as a GM end game meta build ….. I LOVE IT
Perfect way to showcase a build.
In lower level content, dance machines works well for this build
Yes some appreciation for final warning at last ✌🏻
Love u plunder keep em coming
Thank you 😊
Do you think it would work with the new wish-keeper bow? Seems like it would have a lot of crowd control with the traps and decoys.
It is an option, thing is that Wish Keeper lacks damage, but if you really wanted to use it, swapping shackle nades for threadling nades would let you conserve some of that damage
Plunder, what's your thoughts on using this build with Wormhusk Crown? Would you modify it or keep it the same?
Make this a series yes its really great
Just posted a second one this morning :)
@@Plunderthabooty watched the other one befor that one haha
You know I can't believe that you are using same build that I have been using since the start of the season for endgame activities. This build basically allows you to play aggressively out in the open in gms.
I just made a hunter the other day so doing the story and all the past stuff with this build should mKe life easy lol
My only issue with mobalytics is there’s no date on the builds so you don’t really know how old they are or when/what season they were uploaded
Sounds like a good series
Nice build man! Will there be a moba lytic post?
Really hope we get a banger strand hunter exotic in TFS!
Plunder is the man. Love the builds dude
Such a great build had so much fun with it !!
Doesn’t that exotic strand sidearm do bonus bodyshot damage when damaging a targeted enemy but not aiming in?
•
Why were you aiming in on that final boss if he’s teleporting everywhere with a shield and a very small crit??
Any way you can toss this build on mobalytics? Not sure why but dim always messes me up. Keep up the great content!
Good idea for the series. 🎯🇺🇸
Yes, start a series like this. Looking for a good warlock build
awesome build! thank you 🤟
What about mechanics sleeves which boost side arms?
