I'm a senior, and I love these characters! Can you tell what the term "mic drop" means when referring to their relationship on or off camera? I am trying to learn the slang. My generation had our own in the 60's and 70's. Thank you!

Where she basically stated that ”everyone is talking about how Lukes and Nicolas relationship is a PR stunt to promote the show, but katie says that PR is one thing, but luke looking longingly on Nicola in real interviews is another thing" And to that we responsed "Mic drop" which stands for "microphone drop" and is slang for when someone said a dramatic iconic statement or argument which we in this case agree with. Stand up comedians used to do this on their shows after saying a powerful statement followed by dropping the microphone drop, as a punctuation mark. In short, all we really meant was yeess Katie! You nailed it with that statement. Hope this was somewhat helpful!

At the end of the day, they are best friends, work very well together, consenting adults, not in a relationship with anyone… so in my own opinion it’s their business and no one else’s. They are actually a very adorable 😊couple! I would love to see them together! But that’s just me! 😊

I really do think they’re just friends guys, it is easy to ship them in real life because the are really close. But you can find intimacy with a best friend or friend and it not have to cross the line into that territory. They went through filming Bridgerton for 3 years, and now getting to play out their characters love stories. It makes ALOT of sense why they are comfy and touchy. It is hard not to ship them, but I honestly think they just love and respect each other and are very good at their jobs!

I hope they have massive crushes on each other, the way Ross and Rachel had in the earliest seasons of friends. David and Jennifer were dating other people but they secretly had huge crush on each other which is why it permeated on the screen.
I'm not usually for shipping co stars in real life, cause it can end badly (IE Victoria the show being cancelled because the co stars broke up.) These two however are different, they have real life chemistry and friendship it's adorable.
OK here’s the thing they’re both actors and they’re on PR tour it could be an act they could be playing up their affection to encourage shipping rumors and publicity for the show. That being said they both admit they were friendly from the start and consider themselves friends in real life. So who knows maybe down the road they will get together. I just hope people don’t put pressure on them. If they get together it should be because they wanna get together or not because fans are hounding them. They do make a cute couple though and they seem to really enjoy each other’s company if it’s genuine. I certainly wouldn’t be disappointed to see them end of together.
Luke has made mention in an interview that he and Nicola try to coordinate their outfits. I would understand if they wouldn't want to destroy the obviously incredible friendship but damn how they look at each other and move together.
Whoever came up with this, is a genius and deserves a raise xDDDD. These two are amazing together, and yeah, they have a chemistry that not even writers can come up with. Awesome PR for the upcoming season, I'd dare say it's the most awaited (and maybe even in the future), and we're all here eating this up like candy. They are close but they are actors and they are promoting a worldwide show. It's for the cameras. I think a lot of the cast are mates, doesn't mean they want to cop off with each other.
I've gone back in seasons to watch some pivotal moments, and none of them compare to the chemistry between these two. It's in the eyes, I believe. There is definitely something there.

I love how self-aware the internet is of their obsession with Lukola, and after trying to fight it, has just embraced their fate. I mean, this isn't all PR. This is clearly two friends who've gotten very intimate with each other (due to the show) and have now become each other's happy place. It's high-key giving Kate and Leo, with hints of Tom and Zendaya. If I'm being honest, I think they're too compatible to not have feelings for each other, but, since Luke is most likely in a relationship with Antonia, there's a lot of stuff unsaid and avoided between them. As long as they're happy to stay friends, I'm glad for them. But, I seriously wonder how things are evolving between them, since they've basically having a glorified honeymoon across the world.

Hi @@asaragena!This is a very interesting question :-) I haven't checked Luke's new girlfriend's chart (I don't know her birth details), but no doubt we would see connections between them too, probably just different connections than what Luke and Nicola have, and possibly some similar connections as well. Having looked at hundreds of individual charts and couples' charts (how the individual charts connect to one another), I can say that each relationship is unique and each has its own potential and flavour. I haven't seen any picture of Antonia, so can't comment on her vibe, but why we enter a relationship often depends on where we're at in our individual journey, what we're looking for in life, what part of ourselves we're exploring, etc. Often, we don't even know ourselves, it's just part of the growth we're getting! Hope my reply doesn't sound pedantic. I find relationships to be such a vast topic and infinitely interesting viewed through the length [Edit: lens!!] of astrology, I could go on and on, lol.

The carriage incident note there was actually a little bit of a caveat. The thing is soundproofed so they couldn’t actually hear properly everything so that one has a little bit of a 50-50 with it.
Also Luke is ADHD and been an into that with slight anxiety is quite easy to get overwhelmed so Nicola is also there to provide that support. I’m also autistic with ADHD so I recognised the signs of that and when the narrator says calm down yeah that’s cause he’s getting a bit nervous bit anxious or you know et cetera so it just helps with him and she check in with him Jonathan and Bailey does it? And I think Claudia Jesse and Thompson also do so they’re the ones who are quite close to Luke in most interviews if you don’t see Nicola there you will generally see one of the others.
