I know the fandom ships them irl big time, but I, for one, really love to see the friendship these two have, and not think about lovey-dovey stuff. It is possible to have a friendship with the opposite sex, but we always make it so awkward, no wonder we're drooling over Nicola and Luke having this awesome chemistry. I mean, if you have a best friend with whom you can work, feel comfortable with, and all the other things (while being a shy person, or introverted), that means the world. They have taken the world by storm, and their chemistry has made us swoon because #goals. I love them so, so much, and june can't come fast enough.

I know there's a very very strong friendship between them, but, I do think that getting intimate with each other has changed their friendship to some degree, cause there's a level of physical chemistry between them that you only see in people who've been "together" together. Nic and Luke keep saying what they experienced was very different from anything they've known and that they felt very sad when it ended. While I don't think they were ever more than friends, I'm sure, to an extent, it must have all felt like an alternative universe where they actually were together for the eight months of shooting. They had the same vanity van, and makeup artists, and would often take breaks together in the middle of shoots, would practice their kissing scenes in their free time, she would cook him his favourite foods, etc. I think that's what everyone is picking up on. I'm not saying they'll get together, but I wouldn't be shocked if they do in the future, cause they've already experienced something of that nature together.
Nicola's laugh and giggle are the cutest things ever 😭 Her future partner and those around her are so lucky

I get the sense that Nicola really likes Luke as more than a friend in real life. The way she looks at him and hangs on his every word is very telling, in my opinion. I am not sure Luke realizes what's going on here, but all those laughs, hugs, leaning in, and doting by her are tell-tale that she'd be with him in real life if she thought it would be reciprocated.

Listen, I’m not usually one to think costars are dating no matter WHAT their chemistry is like. But there’s times, not necessarily in this video where I’m like, “but are they…?” I’m not gonna jump to conclusions but let’s just say if there was some sort of news that they’re dating 0% of me would be surprised.
I just found out he has a girlfriend and I'm DEVASTATED. She's a 23 year old model and dancer right out of fucking instagram perfection. I really truly thought his and Nicolas chemistry was real. Nicola is beautiful but NORMAL and same with Luke's ex girlfriend. Still beautiful but on the curvier and natural side; not fake insta model. I really really hope this is just a rebound for him. I thought that finally, this was showing us that girls like us could end up with a man like that but it's all fucking fake it's just PR/acting and I'm devastated.

I was really disappointed to know that he has a gf. I was like, WHY NOT NIC? However, when you think abt it, what if Nic just sees him as a younger brother so there really is no chance in the first place? That's just one scenario. We could imagine hundreds of other reasons why they aren't together in real life and we have no way of knowing why.
I'm resigned to the fact that at least, they really are genuine friends who will not ignore each other after the show 😅 I just wish that Nic would meet a good man who'll love her deeply because she deserves it 😊

I think these shows/books are affecting me too much. This kind of love and passion isn't real and I'll never find it.
