If Apollo justice got a proper sequel and not dual destinies I like to imagine Vera would be a recurring character, maybe have her join the Wright anything agency.

Fitting for a forger to join the "wright" anything agency

Had they continued off the games focusing on Apollo Justice I could see her, Eldoon, Lamiroir, and Brushel reappearing frequently.

@@thebrightdiamondtp7871 I think the timeline must have been...
Apollo Justice -> Second AJ game -> AA: Spirit of Justice -> Dual Destinies.
I think the second game should have been more focused on the relationship between Apollo and Trucy, creating a kind of sisterhood between the two.
Besides, giving the new characters more time, Vera joining the agency, Lamiroir sending letters to Phoenix, Brushel telling Phoenix about the state of the law, seeing how the Kitakis' business is going, what happened to Kristoph, etc.
But also preparing more things for the future, Phoenix traveling to Europe or Khura'in, details like finding open law books or files of new law students on Phoenix's desk.
Encounters with characters from the original trilogy, such as Edgeworth.
To end with the revelation of Lamiroir as Thalassa.
From there I would continue with Spirit of Justice but with very big changes but I don't want to make a bible of what this already is.

One of the only things I think this case should’ve done different is having Apollo react to the sketches with more horror or fear, bc really, if you’re investigating someone and you find that they’ve been watching you like that enough to sketch your court cases, I’d be really freaked out

  • @julianthegamer6539

    Fun fact:
In the middle of this case's first day of investigation, if you return to the Detention Center to interrogate Vera before Spark Brushel comes into the scene, she will be away due to falling ill.
It's great foreshadowing for what's to come.

Writing a comment as I watch this masterpiece:
    1. BIG AGREE!! The opening of this case with the MASON system IMMEDIATELY pulls you into the case, with enough information to inform you (because of what has been stated previously) and also enough to keep the secrets just under the wraps.
    2. I also love how Phoenix in AA4 is just fucking with Apollo. He has this whole thing planned out, yet because he's no longer a defense attorney himself, he can't seal the final pieces together in court, so he uses Apollo's skills to bring Kristoph to justice. It makes him really likable, and it shows how he still hasn't lost that wit after all those years.
    3. Vera Misham has excellent design, you are 100% correct.
    4. Yeah the perceive this Brushel is probably the worst one in the game. Like out of all the possibilities,,,, his ARMPIT???
    5. THANK YOU THIS IS ALSO MY FAVORITE KLAVIER MOMENT!! Him piecing things together in his mind, as he realises what Vera might have done.
    6. "And holy shit Klavier looks so hot in this case" YEAH HE DOES!! YOU SHOULD SAY IT!!
Another amazing Apollo Justice video!! I love these in-depth analyses of these cases, it really makes you appreciate and love them even more. Keep up the amazing work! :D

I’m fairly sure I’ve written a couple of paragraphs about Vera before, but needless to say, I heavily agree about her being an absolute treasure. As far as defendants are concerned, she’s my favourite since Maya in 1-2 and that says A LOT. That being said, the first half of this case is absolutely fantastic, the second drags a bit and has some questionable moments (“let me present this nail polish from the future” and “I’ve prepared so long for the case that even the killer couldn’t predict at all”) but overall one hell of a compelling and fun case.
Like we knew Kristoph was a bastard, but what he did to Mishams is just so fucking evil and not in a cartoonish “fuck these people in particular” way, but in a believable, calculated and brutal way that makes him easily one of the best villains in the entire franchise.

I fully agree, though the future evidence I do sort of like! Wonderful comment well said :)

The first day of this case for me is the best part, simply because of how everything is built up. I still love some parts of the second day, but... Idk, I think Phoenix steals the spotlight too much. Day 1 is more about Apollo. Figuring out how the stamp is what killed Drew Misham is so cool!
I also wished there was more to that Klavier's line - "he's told you nothing, has he?" - we never get to see Apollo reflect on how Phoenix left him in the dark and used him for his big revenge plan all this time. I would like to see some reflection about that. Playing the game, I personally felt very betrayed. Even considering everything Phoenix went through, even if I understand why he had to do all the things he did, it still stang. And I, as the player, have WAY more information about Phoenix than Apollo does at this point.

Honestly I think that Apollo justice has the best designed characters in the series I know you’ve already highlighted ones like Trucy Plum Ema and Lamiror but I think that extends to most of the cast (minus the ones who are meant to look silly like the panty thief but even then plum manages it.) specifically people like Maichi and the Gavin’s (all of their designs) have been done masterfully well

Glad to see this game and its final case resonated with you so much. Your perspective on it (and AJ in general) is quite different from my own, but this video clearly shows how enthusiastic you are about it. The way you broke down the events of the case has helped me see it in a new light.

Since late March I been screensharing the series to a friend of mine who was not familiar with the Ace Attorney games at all before. Just a week ago we finished Apollo Justice and gosh we ended up powering through it in such a short time despite how much we took our time with JFA and T&T. I didn't get her full impressions but how different in structure and pacing the entire game is was certainly something she heavily enjoyed. Also they outright adored the visuals and soundtrack too. I might've layed it a bit too thick about how this is the last entry in the main series that Shu Takumi was involved in.
Also my friend did not like Brushel only because of his design looking gross to her right off the bat lmao

Just like Turnabout Trump acts as a prelude to this case, I love the setup this video establishes for the incoming part 2.
I don’t have much to say on this brilliant video, except that this case really does start off with a bangin’ intro on the MASON system. I remember seeing the paintings of Apollo’s previous cases and thinking “WTF this is absolutely crazy, there’s NO WAY they have a justifiable reason for these to exist” but they freaking pulled it off!!
I will hold my thoughts for the next video, as there’s definitely a lot to digest in the latter half of this case. As always, incredible work!!!

There is one thing I did not understand. Was there a law passed in Japanfornia after Trials and Tribulations reducing the "Death in Absentia" time period ? Because in Misty Fey's case, if I remember correctly, they mention 15 or 20 years before someone is considered dead, but definitely not 7

    • @ThePurplegirl81
      @ThePurplegirl81 Год назад +3

The "If she doesn't appear after 20 years, she's dead" is a Kurain Village tradition, so they can name the new master, so this isn't 100% legal.
