I don’t know if they make it anymore but a couple years back I bought the alpinestars bionic chest protector and it has a pretty long back and it doesn’t bother me. There’s 2 little hing like things that form to your back when you bend forward or back
You will want to check out something like the Alpinestars A-10, Fox Racing Airframe Pro, or Leatt 6.5 Pro. We have a video showing our best full coverage roost deflectors here: ruclips.net/video/r9RwcUTxacs/видео.html
What is the best way to wear the A6 when it's still warm or in the 70's°? Directly on my skin with a jersey on top, a tank top or T-shirt underneath the A6 then a jersey or wear the A6 directly on top of the jersey. I would think wearing it directly on your skin would keep you the coolest, but I could be wrong. Thanks for any help I really appreciate it. It's my first time using a chest protector
I prefer to wear chest protectors underneath a shirt, I feel like the shirt first keeps too much of my body heat in and I'm always trying to readjust it. But I would suggest trying both ways and see which feels better to you.
@@rmatvmc Thanks for the reply I appreciate it! 🙏🏻So you wear the A6 directly on your skin in the winter or fall too? I would think in the winter or fall it wouldn't matter if it's over a compression T-shirt or any T-shirt
When do you review the Alpinestars A10 v2 protector? I'm standing between that and the A6 but don't know how bulky a10 v2 is compared to a6 and how the BNS panel looks and works. Especially how it looks under jersey! :)
We are planning to shortly. But if you're planning to go under the jersey, the A-10 is definitely larger in the back and has the side protection. The new A-10 has the new front chest piece like the A-1 Pro (which I love). Honestly, between the two, I would probably go with the A-10 to get the extra protection around the ribs. I also never wore the shoulder protectors on my A-6 which really decreases the bulk under the jersey also. - Chase
You would still want a high abrasion layer over the top. So if you plan to wear a jacket over it, then sure. These are built for impact protection but aren't rated for abrasion.
Well a Kidney Belt and the chest padding serve too different purposes. A kidney belt gives support for the lower back but doesn't do anything for chest protection. - Chase
So close to perfect! I think that long back would drive me nuts, based on others I've tried on that were also long.

Can you do a review of the A10 V2?
Always thought Roost Deflector = no CE impact rating. I would call this a chest protector, since it’s CE level 2 for the chest and back
Guys, can we using this protector at sport motorcycle ?
I dont like jackets in summer etc....
Please answer who have a experience ...
THANKS ALL
Will this protect not only from blows, but also from branches that can pierce the body? I see a lot of free space in the cage.

@@rmatvmc have you tried a compression type t-shirt underneath?
I have not tried a compression shirt underneath.

Ciao, cause I m interested for mtb use can you tell me the weight, ? Thanks Paolo
Can it be used in urban driving?
I don't see why you couldn't. It has great ventilation.
Hey Chase!!! Which one do you prefer between Alpinestar's A6 and A10?
Which one is more low profile to wear under the shirt?
Did you figure this out? Im looking at same

When is shotly? 😂
What did you end up getting
can you use it good for mtb
I wouldn't want to do much climbing in it, I think it would be really hot. But for downhill, it would be fine.
Can i wear this under a street jacket ?
You might want a jacket that is one size larger than what you normally wear, for this to fit underneath it.
I have no interest in motorcross. But I want this for summer road riding. Good idea?

Are you guys doing SX fantasy this year?
You know it!!!!!!
@@rmatvmc Yesssss!
Hi, should you wear a kidney belt or is the padding around the chest sufficient?
