@@ironmonkey1512you’d need to extend the forcing cone some how. Any ideas? I just don’t have access to any tools that would be accurate enough
I didn't realize they were different sized- I am going to fool around with some .38 short colt loads in my 586 to see how accurate they are. It just bothers me having the bullet knocking around the long space where it is reamed out for the 357 cartridge. Smith & Wesson seems to spend most of their time developing plastic guns lately....
@@ironmonkey1512 yeah I’ve even had bad luck with their quality control. I’ve got a 627, and 625 both with skipping cambers. The 625 pc is from the early 2000s. No clue about the 627, but it was new when I bought it a couple months back. I’m just going to have the leads extended, and make them a touch deeper. Should do the trick. Anyway I just want them to bring back the blued finish again

😒 First revolver purchase and well I am not elated. I have been shooting semi-auto for a long time. Out of the box, the trigger pull is 11.5 lbs. Jerry runs a 7lb trigger. I guess it's not quite the same. Also, while I was cleaning it, the cylinder release fell off. After about 800 rounds now the firing pin is sticking. The Scandium Finish scratches very easily. Called S&W they said I could send it back but it would be 6-8 week and maybe longer since this was a Performance Shop Gun. I expected more for a $3400 revolver.
Just FYI, Hoss, u had that screw driver tool upside down on the empties for removal. The open end goes over the case mouth & that raised up portion turns into the edge of the clip. It'll work way better that way. I'm not trying to be a smart alec, just trying to help out. Somebody had to show me how that thing the first time I used one too. Good video.

I thought the S&W Model 327 was a .357 Magnum, I didn't know these were 9mm, or at least a 9mm version of the model.

Regarding this revolver. It's great for someone competing with revolvers. It would be fun to shoot but extremely expensive.
tricking out a 1500$ revolver like this will cost you about that much
Taking a break at the 2:30 point to say no, smith does not provide the best all the time. They produce a lot of junk. I quit buying their revolvers, because the last 4 I bought had canted barrels. Sold them. All I have left is my R8, that I love. Only reason it’s not canted is due to the two piece barrel. Please be objective, not a lying mascot.
